Great food and service - as always. Roquefort salad followed by chicken in mushroom sauce and then apple tart - all really delicious. Well done

Food and service were excellent as normal, evening slightly spoilt by a rather noisy family which we did not expect at 9.00 in the evening

We went for the early bird deal. It wasn’t great to be honest. I have eaten at Côte a few times before, and the Godalming restaurant just doesn’t seem as good. My main meal plate was scorching hot and the meal was very average. The staff were very good though.

Very nice meal as usual.Our first time at Godalming and we liked it very much and enjoyed our complimentary Kia Royals and the two for one set menu offer as well.

The pre 7 pm menu is great value for money, lovely tasty food with good size helpings, the rooms are nicely decorated and there is a good atmosphere.

Lovely lunch from set menu. Artichoke gratinee & langoustine tails for starters followed by sea bass for main. Rounded off with chocolate mousse & chocolate pot. Attentive efficient service in a busy restaurant.

Overall a great experience, only slight comment is that staff checked on our opinions of meal seconds after plates were placed and several times throughout the meal. A bit OTT and annoying!

Excellent efficient yet unhurried service with attention to detail. Our guest really enjoyed the Godalming Cote. The staff are friendly, and the venue is easily accessible from teh street and car park behind.

Lovely food, thought the service was very good and the room was quiet but cosy. A little less frenetic than the Guildford branch - but in a good way!

Enjoyable lunch - friendly welcome. The Pissardière could have done with more anchovy flavour. Salmon on toast (can't remember menu name) could also benefit from more piquant flavour. Moules and Steak + Frites were both good. I liked the automatic 'Optional Gratuity' system. We'll be back.

Great breakfast, friendly service and nice to have it served and washed up when entertaining friends for the weekend rather than having to cook & clear up mysel.f

Very attractive building and spacious inside. I had the two course lunch, plenty of choice of starters and mains. My blood orange salad was delicious as was my steak and fries. Good value, good food and very attentive service.

Even though it was a snowy day and they were short staffed, we had a fantastic lunch. The staff worked so hard to keep the service running, really impressed, definitely will be coming back.

Good food choice and well presented and tasty. Staff almost too keen to offer service. A little more laid back would make the evening more relaxing.

Enjoyed the excellent set menu last night which was most enjoyable and very good quality. Cote never fails to disappoint. Service is always great across the Cote chain with attentive staff in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.

An attractive restaurant with a good atmosphere and service. The food is excellent, reasonably priced and comes in portions which are perfectly sized. The wine by the glass was a very good standard and the correct temperature. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

Good food in an enjoyable setting. The staff were all great and all were very attentive. We will certainly come back again hopefully when the weather is warmer!

Lovely setting, good efficient service, lovely tasty food. Unhurried atmosphere. Toilets situated upstairs, so not great for less able bodied (although there is a disabled wc on the ground floor).

The food was very good with a timely service and fortunately a colleague paid for it, so all the better. I had a started and main course from a very large menu, so a good choice too.

Great service and great food. We were not rushed through but were allowed to enjoy our catch up with friends. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a voucher today due to a moderate , say, semi enjoyable visit on New Years Eve. Well it couldn't have been better. A fantastic meal and the usual standard I have come to expect from Cote. Thank you.

Breakfast great but coffee was horrid. They gave me some more milk which didn't solve the problem so I left it which was not noticed by the waiting staff.

Once again Cote in Godalming came up trumps. Excellent food beautifully served by very attentive staff always looking to make your visit as best as possible. I really would recommend Godalming’s Cote Brassiere to any one looking for a very nice dining experience. If you’ve not been your missing a trick.

Great breakfast there were 5 of us and we all chose the formula option as that is a good deal as you get a hot drink and a fruit juice as well. Clean restaurant and friendly staff.

Intimate atmosphere even though all the tables were occupied. Good food and extensive menu choices. A little on the pricey side since vegetables were extra on many dishes.

it was all ok but nothing better than that. The service was rushed. The food couldn't have been cooked to order with the rate it appeared, especially as it was warm enough rather than hot. Most things were under seasoned and although nothing was unpleasant nothing stood out flavour wise. For the price we could have had a much better meal elsewhere.

Very friendly staff, lots of smiling faces. The food was delicious and the service was good. Although this restaurant is part of a chain, the staff made it feel individual.

Lovely restaurant. The only thing that would have made it better was that we ordered from the set Valentine's menu and weren't offered any side dishes so assumed it came with it...which it didn't. We were offered them at the time we were served and then had to wait an extra 5 minutes. All food and service were excellent and the wine pairing were excellent.

Food was average, portions a bit on the small side. An ok dining experience but nothing special and quite over-priced. Service charge is added to the bill which is quite a hike up on what I would otherwise have tipped.

Food was good (we had the "Early Bird" menu and the choice was quite adequate). Ambience OK. Would have been "5" overall except for the rather random service (our waiter vanished for nearly 10 minutes just as we were ready to order, which meant we had to skip the dessert or miss our theatre...).

This Cote can be hit and miss depending on which chef is on duty. Mondays can be tricky. Pity. I love Cotes otherwise

Meal before a show. Booked for 6.00. Two corses. Both Good. Could have been out in under an hour but we chose to have coffee. Recommended.

Food is reliably good at Cote and this occasion was no exception. Friendly and efficient service in a good atmosphere. The complimentary drinks to start were a nice touch in a pleasant evening out.

We had my birthday lunch at Cote and it was fabulous. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Great food too! I've eaten here several times and never been disappointed.
