Good service, food good but a bit pricey even with the special offer early evening menu. Clean, friendly staff, nice ambiance. Drinks pricey however would visit again

Great service from start to finish, attentive but unobtrusive. Menu options for Fixed Price Weekend Menu were good although it would have been nice to have a vegetarian option on the Specials Menu Food delicious throughout.

As a regular for breakfast the service is always attentive (i.e. excellent) and food consistently good. Would recommend a visit to Cote Godalming especially for breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic, the food was superb, service was excellent, staff so attentive, please go if you are in the area also go for breakfast good choice plates and food hot, not served on cold plates which makes so much difference to the customer experience

The food is always good had been for breakfast,lunch and dinner and all have been excellent food and service very good and the restaurant has a nice warm atmosphere

This is rapidly turning into my favourite Cote. It's a bit like a tardis going back and back but with interesting corners and niches which means you can have a conversation with fellow diners without being overwhelmed by the general hub bub in the background. The food was cooked to perfection and was nice and hot. Service is also very good with sufficient oversight from section managers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Very attentive service only problem was my wife's steak was rather chewy. Other courses were excellent and we were offered a complimentary glass of wine for next visit.

A very enjoyable experience for myself and Guests. The food was excellent, original in concept and perfectly cooked. Most of all the atmosphere was a good combination of professionalism and relaxed informality.

Delicious food as always. Attentive staff, and great to have a reliable restaurant within walking distance! The chicken dish I ordered was really yummy, will now take over from steak frites as my favourite Côte dish.

Three of us ate in celebration of my wife’s birthday, service was excellent, we all had the fish pie which was very tasty. We will visit again.

The ambiance was very pleasant, the serving staff extremely efficient, the food excellent. A very pleasing experience to find this locally especially when so many restaurants are closing.

Excellent service and friendly atmosphere throughout the meal. My chosen starter was no longer available but that was the only slight disappointment. food was tasty, beautifully presented,. Sea bass was particularly well cooked, with fresh fennel and blood orange salad, crispy skin, all perfect. Such good value for money.

Good service in a comfortable restaurant, only criticism would be that our breakfasts (for 6 of us), were only just hot enough to be considered acceptable.

As always, we found the service excellent and the ambience is also very good here. We all had different food and all enjoyed what we had to eat.

Good ambience, good food and great service.! We were warmly welcomed. For starters we had 2 calamaris and a French onion soup. For mains moules frites, sword fish and sirloin steak. All cooked to perfection, very tasty and well presented. The deserts were heavenly too!

Steak frites, burgers and the Breton fish stew all very good. Decent service and a nice atmosphere. 10% service charge will be added to your bill, but they would have got at least that from me anyway.

Very good evening with friends. Food very good and atmosphere excellent. Interesting menu which suited 4 very different tastes. One minor issue with one of the dishes but overall an evening that will ensure we comer back

Had a lovely meal and good service. as it was Saturday night very busy with lots of celebrations going on Birthday Parties - Hen Night etc.

As a group of six coming from Mother’s Day brunch we received good service. Unfortunately though all drinks, champagne, juice and coffees were all brought out together, and therefore hot drinks were cold after having champagne and juice. It would have been helpful if they had come out separately.

Good choice on the menu supplemented by some nice "specials". Food well presented and of good quality. Service pleasant and attentive. Prices reasonable. Would certainly return.

Eaten there several times. Consistently excellent food at reasonable prices and generally good service. The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere in this old building

Most of the food was lovely, but my husbands steak was not so good. When he let the waitress know, she immediately replaced it & took the meal off the bill, so whilst it was a little disappointing, the problem was fixed without any issue so we enjoyed our meal very much.

great food again and service of high standard as we have come to expect. am returning again to-note with party of eight friends so hoping for another very good experience

Fantastic food with interesting flavours and tantalising tastes. Service is top class .......friendly yet professional. Ambience in restaurant is welcoming and cosy. Cote always delivers quality at an affordable price.

Had Campari & soda but they weren't sure if it came with a slice of orange. We had duck but weren't told if it was going to be breast or leg. Otherwise food and service very good.

We had a lovely Mother's Day lunch which was enjoyed by everyone, from the Grandparents to the children. Food was delicious and service was very good. Would visit again

Would have preferred to be given a table in the back part of restaurant as front part had a lot of very young children in it so felt like we were in the family section. Other than that, no complaints and we all enjoyed our food.

Greeted by pleasantly helpful staff, good choice of food which arrived well presented and up to expectations in all respects for a Mothering Sunday outing.

Lovely venue (olde world - used to be the Doctors surgery!). Very pleasant and polite staff - very attentive but not too much. Food was excellent too. Would recommend to friends and family etc.

Eggs floating in grease and a very superior attitude. It was Mother's Day and we had booked fur the evening too - the table we booked was occupied by other people. We were very disappointed as one ifvourvoartybus hard if hearing and the requested table is known to be quiet enough for her to hear us. It spoilt out exoerience and I will not return through my own choice

Always good - i continue to enjoy the Cote brand - food choices always good though service can be a little slow. A regular place for family get together

Once again the food was excellent, and the staff were fantastic, helpful with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble, so we will be back again soon.

We had a great time today at Cote - service was excellent even though it was mother's day and the cooked breakfast was fab - their full English is the best.

Lovely atmosphere and service for a very relaxing Mother’s day treat. The mains were tasty and the desserts a hit with everyone, especially the kids!

Food and staff were excellent as usual. There was a bit of a wait for our main course, understandable as it was Mothers Day, but the staff resolved it quickly and efficiently. Looking forward to our next meal there.

Considering how busy they were today for Mothers Day they did very well with both food and service. Breakfast was lovely and bill was reasonable.

Food was tasty and they were more than happy to make dietary changes for me. Service was a tiny bit slow for my liking but understandable on a busy Mother’s Day!

It was nice food and pleasant service, but they were quite over stretched. We were surprised that they ran out of teapots when not every table was occupied.
