A fantastic breakfast, really enjoyed it food was hot and fresh, staff very helpful finding room for us and the pram.

Great set menu & choice from a La carte. Press’s gratinee, pork belly & crepes. Whitebait, sea bass & tarte au citron. Delicious. Will be back soon!

Good atmosphere & good choice on fixed prices menu. Whitebait & sea bass; pate & steak frites. All good apart from steak frites which was tough but quickly replaced with a good steak. Thank you Cote! We’ll be back soon!

Great lunch as always! Prawn Gratinee followed by Breton fish stew. Friendly service with a smile.

The food was great, served hot and promptly served. The manager in the navy & white dress was good, & the other lady who came over was also. However, the tall young gentleman who served us for the majority of the time came over as quite cold unless he was new and nervous. When it came to after clearing our main plates he walked towards the table holding the desert menu in our direction vertically, and I said yes we will take a look, instead of approaching the table holding them horizontal & asking if anyone would care for desert, coffee or apperitives? Also it is quite obvious that the staff are trained to proactively sell extras, which can be irritating. We have visited Cotes Godalming many times as it is close to where we live and it won't put us off to visit again.

Restaurant was very noisy due to some “Hen Parties “ Nobody’s fault as husbands were watching the Football!!

As always excellent service and food. Been a customer since first opened in Godalming. We certainly miss Cote when closed during these difficult times. Staff attentive but not over attentive and always welcomed with a smile. All staff very professional.

Matt was a superb waiter. The prestige menu lovely and the food was served hot and with a smile behind Matt’s mask. Good social distancing and very hygienic.

Excellent meal and service. Very hygiene as we saw the tables being sprayed after people left. It was as close to normal as you can get in these trying times.

Went on a Sunday and the menu was very narrow.

Great spot for a pre-panto Champagne Breakfast. Food and service excellent. My waitress was Jennifer who is a real star in the Côte team - not only at Godalming but Guildford and Farnham also.

Have been to many Cote restaurants in different places. This time and the only time two of us had to send back the fritz s as they were were almost cold. They were replaced quickly with hot ones. On paying the bill we were not charge for the small glass of wine we two had had. Very grateful for that. As I have said this was the only time we have had a complaint.

Had a lovely anniversary lunch just before the tier system switched again. Staff were great and the food was exceptional. Great price for three courses and the wine was perfect. Lots of space between tables and plenty of hand sanitiser available. Hope to visit again soon once the restrictions are lifted and this virus is long gone.

The people in the kitchen gave me a better steak this time, all very nice, the details make the difference thanks 🙂

Nice way to start Xmas, good service. Just need to make it clear champagne breakfast can only be served from 10am.

Delicious food for all the family from 8yrs to 72yrs and with one lactose intolerant the staff were really helpful saying it was no trouble to check with the kitchen. Our 8yr old fancied having her Lamb Rump cooked a little more and where I was tempted to say you'll eat what your given, the staff were very happy to take it back for extra sizzling. Everything was as yummy as always staff super helpful and bright making our visit the perfect end to a very happy day out. Hope you are all able to keep open and stay healthy. HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Everything from the welcome to the food to the service was lovely - Mum rarely clears her plate and this time she absolutely did which is a huge compliment to the Chef!

We had a delightful and very enjoyable evening at CB in Godalming. There was some confusion over whether we had booked an outside table but it was all quickly resolved and we had very cosy seats. The staff were all lovely. Just choosing from the menu was a joy but the food itself was wonderful. We are lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep and the team there have worked hard in difficult circumstances to maintain an excellent service. I was shocked to discover they had 34 no shows for bookings this evening. Customers owe companies who are making an effort to offer us nice experienced like this some respect.

Great service and food. The staff, as always, were very friendly and accommodating. We were eating outside due to COVID and not being from the same household but it was warm enough with the heaters and really quite a jolly atmosphere.

Nice time had by all. ordered a large glass of red and when i checked that it was a large glass as it looked quite small to me, they rechecked my order and saw that a small glass had been given. All good though as they bought another glass through to me free of charge so all good.

Stunning building with beautiful outside lights and decoration. Very lovely staff. Great food and prompt service. Manager on arrival was very pleasant and welcoming. Young server Matt was tentative but not over bearing. Would highly recommend
