Lunch with girlfriends today. Appreciated a speedy service as we were all on our lunch break. Everyone enjoyed all courses and a bottle of chilled Cremant delicious

Always good to visit Cote, especially Godalming. Atmosphere, staff, service, food and drink are always spot-on. And, when the bill arrives you never think 'ouch'. Will be back soon.

As usual the whole experience did not disappoint. Good to see some changes to the set menus and still so much we’d want to try. The “pissaladiere’ was interesting-I couldn’t actually see the onion but very tasty!

The restaurant is in the old doctors surgery so is seems as if lots of little rooms

Like most branches of Cote, Godalming is very well run and a pleasure to visit.

It was my friends birthday and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive to give her such a lovely time. Apart from the birthday Kir which she didn’t expect she was also given a chocolate mousse with a candle and they and my husband and I sang Happy birthday to her. She was very touched. It is so lovely to come to a restaurant that shares in your celebration which is the reason you have come to Cote to celebrate.

One of my favorites, always eat there when in Godalming.

Good well prepared food and excellent well trained staff. The arrival of Cote in Godalming has been very welcome. Keep it up. Sometimes a bit noisy for us so we always ask for a table opposite the bar and have almost always got that. Well done!

The service was efficient and a feasible waiting time for food to come to the table. The waiter who served us was very polite and well spoken and offered a good amount of options of food and the specials etc. However there did seem to be a hair in my dessert upon arrival but the turnaround time for a new one was very fast. Furthermore both desserts were removed off the menu which was a nice touch to an overall pleasant experience.

Fantastic service for a 90th birthday lunch. Staff extremely helpful. Wonderful waiter who was happy to take lots of photos and sang Happy Birthday with gusto!

We had both caught a chill outside so we really enjoyed the french onion soup. Unlike many canned onion soups, it wasn't too salty and had a lovely cheese topping. We both had the set menu and enjoyed our entrees. Not enough room for dessert but the espresso was just enough. Waiter friendly and efficient. A lovely meal!

Good food. Slightly amateur young waiters but cheerful and willing. Very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime but service still OK. A pleasant overall experience

Excellent food, good service ! The only downside is that the round tables for 2 people could be a little bigger as they’re honestly too small once you have your meals served.

We were a party of 10 having lunch celebrating my wife's 50th birthday in the Godalming Cote. The food really was excellent and we were so well looked after my our waiter, Tom. He was extremely attentive and seemed to know exactly when we needed anything. The food was very well cooked, served hot, and all the table served together, not easy when such a large party. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Good food, rightly priced. Professional service, and nicely dressed table ( proper napkins is always a plus ).
