Cote is my favourite restaurant. It has a wonderful mixture of both relaxed, yet refined. The staff are always well trained and attentive and the menus are unusual and delicious. How they manage this wonderful balance of affordable, yet high standard of food is amazing. Please keep doing what you are doing. Thank you for making the time out with friends a special event!

A wonderful evening- all six guests had brilliant food- the Chateaubriand in particular was one of the best I have eaten. Only my coffee at the end, being too cold, prevented full stars.

Went for our 35th anniversary lunch time and had a superb meal.Great fast service Well-done.

I have given Food 4 stars because the green beans were so hard I couldn’t eat them. I suspect they had simply been dipped in hot water.

We had the valentine meal for two, including the Beef, which was cooked superbly. Absolutely fantastic. The only poor show from an otherwise excelent meal was one of the mini desserts. The crumble. It should have been finished in the oven, but instead had been microwaved. It was hot in the middle and cold at the edges and crumble was raw. Yuk. Sadly it only takes one thing to remove the edge from what was nearly a great night out.

Really enjoyed the cointreau blood orange cocktails - will definitely try to recreate at home. Main courses cooked perfectly and piping hot. The best thing about Cote Godalming is the consistency. You know you the food or service will never let you down.

Exceptional welcome and service from the staff who went out of their way to make my birthday so memorable .... but without it in any way intruding on fellow diners. Once again I was struck by the quality of the mostly East European staff who had such personality and charm. Oh, and the cooking was as good as ever - and so well presented. Need I say more.

The Godalming Branch has an excellent atmosphere with good food and more particularly a young attentive staff who do their best to serve their customers very professionally. I go there regularly and seldom come away unsatisfied with all I receive.

Hi food very good as was service We opted for four £10.50 breakfasts However when the bill came we were charged extra as one of us decided no coffee had just juice and breakfast When questioning the bill they said it was because no coffee ordered We feel your staff should tell us all your offer brings to us or not !! In future coffee will be ordered and left that is such a waste

Lovely lunch today - chosen from February’s set menu. Lamb rillettes & croquettes chosen as starters followed by steak, Jerusalem artichoke risotto & sea bream. All mains were very good apart from the steak which was a bit tough however we were compensated for this without question! Creme caramel was excellent. Thank you cote!

The experience was superb. Starting with a complimentary cocktail, dining a la carte with the crab mayonnaise followed by fillet steak, really tender and cooked medium rare, washed down with a pinot noir and followed with Coupe Noir. An excellent dinner for two enjoyed by both of us. An experience hopefully to be repeated in the near future.

We met friends again at the Godalming branch and had a delicious Formula breakfast on Sunday. Such good value and including orange juice and coffee. Our favourite breakfast place and we’ve tried a lot. Great staff and a lovely manager. PAMELA

Really lovely staff, very attentive. The food was really good but we did think the add price for the sauces with our steaks were very over priced for such a small pot or jug.

We had the set 3 course menu and thought it was good value for money and the food was good as well

Pleasant evening and staff very attentive at all times. Not very busy so service was reasonably prompt. Prefer the seating at the front of the restaurant although we were shown to a table nearer the back, this was fine but another time we would ask to sit near the front.

Loved the place, the staff is attentive and considerate, the menu is excellent with a good selection of starters and mains, to cater for everyone’s needs

Lovely evening at Cote. We had a very helpfull and efficient waitress and the meal and wine were very good.

Food was not great - pasta with the Stroganoff was not fresh - in my view clearly pre-cooked and reheated - slightly rubbery. Stroganoff was good and service as usual efficient and friendly.

The minute steak was a little tough so the manager gave us a partial refund. Everything else was excellent including brilliant service.

Excellent service, quiet comfortable area of restaurant. Waiter was courteous and food arrived without any lond delays.

Family birthday meal midweek - food consistently good, seem to be retaining staff well, great service as always.
