Fab gluten free menu - as a coeliac with 3 coeliac daughters it is so brilliant to have a really nice restaurant where we feel safe to enjoy our food. A full GF menu which has so much choice - our fave restaurant.

A very enjoyable evening with excellent food. My only criticism was the level of ambient noise, which made it difficult to conduct conversation with anyone but one's immediate neighbour

Very good. I would have given a 6 but the olives were weird. But great entree and desert. amazing soups. Service was good too. Will go again.

We have been to several Cote restaurants and have never been disappointed. This was our second visit to the Godalming Cote and it was excellent. Our food was well cooked and the service very good indeed. We could not have asked for anything more. Well done Cote. We shall be coming back.

Great service and food and fairly good value for money. However goats cheese salad really hard to eat in a deep bowl... try a plate!

A great evening with professional, friendly waiter and great food. Loved the rabbit "cottage pie" special. So tasty and just right for a cold January night. The usual, unwavering excellence I have come to expect from Cote.

This was my second visit to Cote and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We chose from the early evening menu, which is such good value and I have no doubt we shall be returning.

Good food, good service. It does however get very loud and it's difficult to have a conversation. But if you want to sit and look at each other than this place is for you.

Initial service a bit rushed (over-enthusiastic?) even though the restaurant was not busy at that time: No assistance with coats. Asked what drinks we wanted before group properly sitting down. Asked if ready to order only a few moments later. After that things settled down and were well-paced. Delivery service cheerful and we were able to enjoy some very good food with generous portions of everything. Will happily dine there again.

The staff were delightful and the service excellent as normal. We have been using the restaurant regularly for the last two years and have never been disappointed.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The waiter pointed out the breakfast offer which includes orange juice and a coffee. The only issue was the size of our table made it difficult to hold everything!

Lovely restaurant, efficient staff and very enjoyable food, definitely going to become a regular. I ordered the belly pork which was delicious and a very decently sized portion. Thank you Cote see you again soon.

Great food, quick service -as always! Will return soon. A good reliable venue for typically French cuisine. Particularly partial to the frozen berries with warm white chocolate sauce.

Warm welcome and pleasant service. Perhaps with breakfast , coffee amount could be more generous , but otherwise we enjoyed the experience and would go back, especially on the 2 for1 deal.

First time for breakfast and enjoyed the gluten free option as a coeliac. I did not like to receive my fruit salad at the same time as my scrambled egg and smoked salmon. When I mentioned it they staff took away the cooked food and brought fresh later. This was done with apologies and a smile. Plenty of choice and large helpings Staff very accommodating.

My steak was cold so had to return it Hence I was not eating my main with rest of party My replacement steak was fine in itself but it should not happen on a quiet night

Warm welcome, delicious food and good service at a reasonable price. Preference for a quiet table acknowledged and taken into account. Great buzz this evening and we very much enjoyed our experience.

My wife and I had a very pleasant lunch. We were expected, a table was immediately available, the service was courteous and swift, and the food most enjoyable.

Great service, prompt tasty food at a fair price in comfortable surroundings, I recommend the set menu options as offering good choice options at an affordable price

First experience of breakfast at Cotes and was impressed. Good variety of choice, well cooked and good service with friendly staff. A bit more expensive than we usually pay as you have to pay individually for fruit juice, tea and coffee which usually get a drink included with a cooked breakfast.

Food and service was outstanding, worthy of a great independent restaurant, and reasonably priced. My steak tartare and fish parmentier (pie) were excellent. My friends were equally impressed with theirs.

New Year’s Eve dinner menu was lovely although the duck a l’orange could have been more orangy for my taste. The restaurant itself is a lovely place to eat. Service is always good and the food and wine hit the mark for quality and value.

One very poor dish but the staff offered fair compensation and it didn't spoil the evening. A pleasant restaurant in an attractive building and very attentive service.

Starter had to be sent back as was cold. Main meal was ok just about warm enough. Côte is fine- nothing special. Staff friendly and polite.

The Cote brand usaully offers a consistent quality of cuisine and service, at, a reasonable price. The restaurants are clean, tidy and in good repair, making the entire dining experience pleasurable.

Good service, great ambience. The only downside was that the sea bass was very salty. They took it of the bill without asking for it though

As always excellent service. Food was lovely too, although temperature could have been just a touch hotter. The restaurant was in full Christmas spirit with friendly waiting staff. Highly recommended.

As always with Côte Godalming, the staff were attentive but not in your face every 2 minutes. Food was excellent - especially the pork belly and halibut mains. What more can I say? We have been here several times and have never been let down with food and service.

A very nice lunch with our friends to celebate Christmas. We all ordered different things and found the food to be very good. The service was excellant.

Welcoming friendly staff. Good food well presented and priced. Well refurbished premises. Reasonably busy on the early Saturday evening we went so best to book ahead. Would have liked to have seen some acknowledgement to Christmas around the restaurant but overall an enjoyable evening and experience. Will happily go again.

Good Service and nice food. However we were an office party of 4 who were seated in an area full of Mums and screaming Toddlers which wasn't ideal. I know it was busy on the lead up to Christmas and hence couldn't be helped.

We had an amazing meal, sitting out side in the lovely patio garden area. Lovely evening out for a couple. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

All fine except medium filet steak was well done and dry. Service excellent even though very busy. MD. However will still use in future as previously very good.

Very good food and service. Feel that Cote, whichever branch, is reliable. We went for a late breakfast on Saturday 16th Dec and it lacked a little atmosphere. As it is Christmas, a little background Christmas music would have been nice. There were no Christmas decorations indoors either.
