Côte Godalming

We had a fantastic meal for mothers day with my 2 children, kids meals were great and they loved them, our fillet steaks were up there with the best we had!

First visit to godalming cote but was excellent service, food and will be going back definitely

Absolutely great service considering it was Mother's Day, served quickly and the food was delicious as always.

The restaurant was cold. We all felt it, men and women alike. Portions were smaller than usual, we felt. We wondered if this was because it was Mothering Sunday and they didn't want to run out of the choices? Shame as I love your restaurants.

Booked table for three on Mothers day. The set menu was varied and the food we ordered was excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful. Many thanks for making it a memorable day for our mother.

We had a very enjoyable early evening meal with wine. The food and drink were both of the usual high standard one expects from Côte and also very good value. Thank you and well done

Very nice lunch meal in great surroundings. Only disappointment was the duck main meal - the duck was rather tough - have had it several times before so must have been bad luck as usually everything is excellent.

Lovely set lunch today - pear & endive salad & pork with celeriac & mustard remoulade to start followed by the whole Camembert for main. Delicious. Service excellent as always. Thank you

Wonderful scrambled egg this week! Sausage was a little under cooked for my liking but still very tasty. Worth asking for it well done I would imagine.

It was another very good effort from the team at Cote. We went for two courses from the Prestige Set Menu. I had the french onion soup and rib eye steak and my friend had the calamari and rib eye steak. We both agreed that our food was very good. Cote continues to be one of my staple favourites with good quality menus, service, and well looked after restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

Really like the fact that there is a lot more space here than in Guildford, it helps with the noise levels. All in all a very good experience.

Brought 4 year old for first time. Risotto which he normally loves was thick and tasteless. We were not given cutlery for him to eat by our waiter. Fortunately this was rectified by your usual excellent staff. All other food was brilliant. Guess we shouldn’t have brought children.

Over the years, we've come to expect high standards with both the food and service given by the Cote chain. If there's a branch in the place we're visiting, it will always be our first choice for lunch/dinner.

Côte came up with an excellent menu and wine pairings for Valentine’s Day we couldn’t have been happier. The service was great and we were very happy to have chosen this as our early evening out.

We only stopped in briefly for a main course and a decent bottle of wine. Everything was done very well with a minimum of fuss and exemplified everything that I enjoy about Côte.

On this occasion Côte were not quite on their game. Whilst I can understand how it happened I ended up with a gluten-free breakfast. Even after the mistake was identified I still ended up with gluten free toast. As usual the quality of the ingredients was very good and also how they were cooked. The service did leave something marginally to be desired although that is rare. It certainly won’t deter me from going back and I still consider Côte one of my favourite restaurants.

Love Cote, but not this Godalming branch, very poor inattentive service - 25 minutes to take our order. Not typical of Cote, so hope they get their act together.

Great “Full English” the breakfast was up to the very high standard you expect from Cote, Godalming, that coupled with the excellent staff who look after you professionally but always with a smile.

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, nice food! The service was a bit slow ( had to ask for drinks ) and they took a while to arrive. Otherwise, very good.

2 of us had a great 3 course meal in this thriving restaurant with prompt and friendly service. I Would highly recommend the cheese board!

Had a wonderful meal off the main menu which came with a complimentary bottle of wine. Food was of a high quality, service friendly and the wine was good to. Great value.

We had an excellent meal with friends on the 15th Feb. We were offered the Valentine's Menu as well as their regular a la carte offering. We all chose the Valentine's Menu and were so pleased we did. Well prepared tasty food with a special mention for the Assiette Gourmande which was excellent. The lemon sorbet in particular was great as a refreshing end to the meal.

Excellent food and service. We had to choose from a set up menu because it was St. Valentines but still, the quality of the food was great. We will come back.

We had a fantastic breakfast for my wife's birthday. The staff provided complimentary drinks which was a lovely touch. Service and food were great as well.

Lovely place with excellent waiting staff. Nice food although poached eggs were under cooked so worth mentioning before ordering eggs Benedict. Staff friendly but front of house staff member was a little cold.

Côte is one of my favourites and this was another good experience. Three of us dined together and we were all very happy. The only slight negative was that my French onion soup was not as hot as it might have been. The service is always attentive without being overbearing. We will certainly be returning in the near future :)
