Despite being fairly busy the staff were very polite and very efficient, the wines on offer very excellent and as usual the food was very nicely presented and very tasty. I would not hesitate in recommending Cote for a meal out at any time.

One steak was very poor but we were given a discount so sorted out well

Disappointed that there was no lobster available after receiving emails and booking especially to celebrate my father in laws 82nd birthday, he was looking forward to the lobster. Also there was a large family party of people who were very disruptive and noisy, unable to keep their children under control and as they didn't leave until we had finished our main course, marred the evening. We have been going to Cote in Godalming ever since it opened, this has to be one of the poorest evenings. The food we had was of course very good along with the service as my scoring shows but the whole experience could have been better.

As usual all was good, save for one chicken main course insufficiently cooked, but rapidly replaced at no charge, so no complaints.

I ordered a new dish described as 'veal sirloin' and must confess that it was the best meal I have ever had at your restaraunt. Please retain it as part of your menu, so that I and hopefully many others can enjoy it in the future.

The food is good French cuisine and the staff are friendly and efficient. We’ve had lunch and dinner at Côte (on different days) and sat outside both times and it’s been very relaxing. I’d recommend. The only thing I don’t like is the bill automatically includes a 12.5% gratuity and I’d prefer to give a cash tip. When I’ve asked them to remove the extra they’ve done so without query but I’d rather not have to ask. All in all a very nice restaurant.

Arranged a little work reunion. We had the best time. Lovely food, great service and a good catch up! Our waitress was lovely and welcoming, we were served right away, drinks on the table within minutes and the food was amazing. 2nd time in visiting Cotè Godalming and both times have been a pleasure. Thank you, we will be sure to visit again.

As ever not much atmosphere in Godalming Cote compared to say Guildford but good ok - duck was bit tough but service excellent

What a pleasant experience. One of our party has some serious food allergies but a senior member of staff spent time helping our guest to find a suitable meal which she thoroughly enjoyed.
