We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the setting, by far the best branch locally. A choice of table, attentive service, as much or as little time taken as we wished. Lamb chops cooked exactly as asked, and beef bourguignon looked wonderful.. Loved the cinnamon ice cream with the gallette des Rois. Many thanks, a lovely birthday meal.

Our money visit was up to scratch. The usual high standard. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.good value.

What a wonderful evening we spent at Cote Godalming yesterday evening. The staff were attentive and professional the food was amazing and my 2 young children who had originally not wanted to eat in "an adult restaurant" found that they loved both the atmosphere and the food. Thank you so much - fabulous all round

Fantastic, staff very welcoming and friendly. Provided my son with a brilliant colouring in and sticker pack whilst we waited for friends. Lovely atmosphere within the restaurant. Food was delicious and excellent value for money

Great food tonight and lovely service - we had a super night.

Lovely meal ruined by shockingly poor service. Long wait for the order to be taken and subsequently - for the first course to arrive (our party included two children and time was of the essence). Bizarre behaviour of some of the staff - at one point, a male waiter decided to push through the small gap between the back of my chair and a full coat rack which was immediately behind me. He was carrying a large tray full of hot food to another table - this ended up passing directly over my head as he bumped into the back of my chair. There was no apology. Another male waiter pushed past us as we were leaving the restaurant. At the end, we were offered a small discount off the bill, but unfortunately this was too little too late. Having enjoyed a great service at this restaurant in the past, we were very disappointed with the experience.

As usual, fab service and food! Really good young lady who gave us just the right amount of time at every point. Even though I chose different from my norm starter and main, and we were on January deal, everything was extremely tasty and great portions. Thank you!

Service was a bit too slow with quite long wait between courses. Food was excellent. Dealing with the multiple choices and payments was handled very well. I will be back.

A M A Z I N G. Had dinner at cote for our daughters 5th birthday as she wanted a juicy steak! Was brill. Great great food. A pink helium balloon and a candle in her pudding. Not sure anything needs to be better!! Thank you.

We are regular customers at Cote Godalming and it is always our first choice for eating out. Indeed, it is difficult to consider going anywhere else for a quality, affordable dining experience with superb service and hospitality from the excellent staff. If travelling in the UK, we always stop at a Cote for a meal and it is truly remarkable that a restaurant chain can maintain such high standards over so many outlets. Merci beaucoup!

Four of us had a very good early evening meal made even better as we had a birthday kir royale to start. The service was excellent and the food as good as always.

Didn’t realise fish parmentier took 20 mins which is a while if u don’t have a starter but everything else was ok

We had a large party for breakfast today. Our order was sent prior to our arrival. The staff were brilliant. The service was great, drinks and food arrived quickly, beautifully presented. A very high standard. Much enjoyed by everyone. Thank you.

Lovely meal,great friendly services,poilt only by what we presumed to be the fire alarm going off.But no explanation as to wether it was a false alarm or action needed to be taken.

Today was our third annual Sunday Brunch at Cote for the staff and volunteers from the Samaritans Charity shop in Godalming. Once again, we had a very nice unhurried meal and he staff were very helpful, especially with a couple of last minute changes to the numbers attending. We hope to come again next year ! Thank you.

Very good as usual, with good service by well trained staff. It is difficult to get away from noisy groups, but the staff tries.

We have been several times - The food is very good and well above the average for this area. We used the cheapest lunch menu today, which was excellent value. They can be proud that they are doing a good job.

Our group event to celebrate the fête des Rois was very enjoyable. The Prestige menu was very good and the individual galettes were ideal for a dessert.

I have been to Cote many times in Godalming and other towns. It is always delightful in every respect.

Fantastic food and service The Pork Belly was outstanding. Another excellent night at Cote Godalming.

Excellent breakfast as always although the optional 12% service charge bumps up the bill and I would prefer to decide my own tip!

We had a great table reserved, very spacious for 6 adults and 6 kids. Adults ordered coffees but not all of them came together or closer to the others, which was a bit disappointing. The food was good.

Everything was ok but nothing particularly special. I expected more from the New Years Eve effort. Last year was much better.
