Côte Gloucester

Took a group of 18. Quite a complicated pre order. Staff were extremely well organised and helpful. Everything went like clockwork apart from technology at the end. Paying took a while but we very much appreciated being able to pay in couples. Many thanks

Yet another excellent visit to Cote Brasserie. The food and wines were extremely good and the service first class. As a ceoliac, eating out options for me are quite limited. I often don't have confidence in a restaurant's ability to provide uncontaminated gluten free food. I have no such concerns at Cote Brasserie as the care and attention applied to this essential requirement is evident. I cannot recommend the restaurant strongly enough for those who have this condition and for anyone who enjoys good food in pleasant surroundings.

Choosing for a mothers day meal is always difficult - can they fit you in? will it just feel like a rushed experience? Many of us have been there. I'd never been to this restaurant but decided to give it a go. Oh my word I could not have chosen better. I will sing the praises of this restaurant for a long time to come. We were greeted by front of house who dealt with a very busy restaurant together with regular arrivals of new customers with such incredible agility that I have not experienced in a long time. He dealt with all customers courteously, with humor and respect for my elderly mother. I wish I had thought to take his name as it was worthy of a letter. But ALL the staff that contributed to our experience were also just perfect. The food was amazing - perfectly cooked, tasty and plentiful. Given the great meal we had had I expected, and was prepared for, a big bill. But it wasn't! I think the prices are very reasonable for the service and the food. And as for my mother? She was over the moon about the whole experience so a tick in that very important box. A big thank you to all the staff that were working so hard to serve so many customers that day - I really did notice. And as for me, one to add to my list of all-time favourite restaurants. I'll be back :)

Great Mother’s Day lunch, extremely busy because of the occasion therefore meals a little slow coming out. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon then and the staff worked extremely hard coping well with a constantly full restaurant

Good service, friendly staff, food was lovely. When I said that the white wine was warm it was replaced immediately. Our server spilt a little wine on me and to apologise (which wasn’t necessary as I wasn’t upset) they brought some port along with the cheese. That’s proper customer service.

Visited with friends to celebrate my wife's birthday, the staff were delightful, particularly our waitress - Christina, the manager- Craig and Aimee the assistant manager, the welcome was warm and the surprise glasses of sparkling rosé were totally unexpected as was my wife's complimentary desert with a birthday candle! The food and service were outstanding. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you.

Yet another fantastic meal with outstanding service. This HAS to become a regular lunch time treat as you can't really fault it. One slight bump my starter came out wrong but rectified almost instantly.

Brought my daughter here for her 18th birthday. I hadn’t told the staff it was her birthday but they noticed her badge. We instantly got complimentary drinks for us all (4 of us) and she received a complimentary desert with happy birthday written around the plate with chocolate. This made my daughters night very special and the food was also amazing served by friendly staff.

It was fantastic. Really accommodating with me personal request made the night.

Our first visit to a Cote Brasserie. We found the staff attentive but not too "in your face" the food was well prepared and well presented. Overall, it was an evening well-spent! Our only regret was that with so few covers occupied there was a lack of atmosphere

Exquisite food! Had the carpaccio, pork belly and lemon tart. The nicest meal out in Gloucester we have had in a long time, would highly recommend.

We always have a great time at Cote the food and service is always excellent would recommend to anyone while visiting Gloucester Quays. My husband wears an hearing aid and sometimes it can be a little noisey so he is unable to hear our conversations if we are in a group of friends but all in all a great night to have.

Had a very enjoyable evening with friends at this restaurant tonight. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and the food was fabulous. This was my first time and I will definitely be back and won't hesitate to recommend it to others.

A great evening with lovely food, I'm not much of a fish eater but I had the March special of Monkfish, really enjoyed it. Well looked after by Craig and his staff, they can never do enough for you.

As usual amazing food coupled with fantastic service. Lovely touch of a complimentary drink on arrival with a birthday card and decorated complimentary pud for my sister for her birthday. Couldn't fault it and booked again for Saturday lunch. We'll done and thank you to all of the staff. It made it a perfect birthday trwat

Impressive for a chain restaurant. We we're welcome and seated and the manager (I presume) took our coats. Staff were attentive but not overly so. My partner had steak tartare for starters and I had the smoked salmon. Both were delicious (I'm going by his judgement on the tartare!) My main, the lamb rump was amazing. I couldn't fault it. My partner's Cod loin goujons -in his words- were a posh fish and chips but again; no complaints. Dessert was Tarte au Citron for me and proper Creme Caramel for him which we both enjoyed. We left full and satisfied. We'll definitely go back.

Our dinner last night was fantastic! I noted in the booking that it was a friend's birthday and the staff at Côte went above and beyond for us. My friend had a glass of bubbly on arrival and a special birthday pudding. Service was fantastic, wait time was also great. And the food was delicious!! Thank you everyone at Côte, we will definitely return again soon :)

Not bad, quiet table for a business meeting. Mid week obviously less busy. But overall ideal location and good food. There was something on the menu for each of our guests.

Very busy as Mother’s Day, mums meal was delayed but apologies and took cost off bill, we didn’t complain the staff were aware of situation and dealt with it themselves. Well done!

I had a wonderful lunch at Cote Brasserie in the Gloucester Quays, as I was celebrating my birthday with one of my closest friends. Upon being seated we were given a free glass of Kir Royale champagne, which I thought was the perfect compliment to our food order and a special little treat. Lovely atmosphere and not too busy seeing as it was half term as well. Excellent and efficient service from friendly staff making our experience one to remember! Especially when they went the extra mile by singing me Happy Birthday and had even decorated my desert plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate and raspberry coulis, with a candle in the fondant. Best day ever! I've always liked dining at Cote Brasserie day or night, but this has really made it my number 1 restaurant, so will continue to recommend it highly after making my day special and making me feel like a truly valued customer!

Great food as always. Very attentive staff, who weren't at all phased by a request to wait an hour between courses while we waited for a friend to join us. The restaurant got very busy as the evening progressed but we weren't ignored and even got a goodbye from the staff at the end.

The food wasn't as good as I have had in the past, it was all a bit lack lustre. Monday evening, it didn't seem that busy service was slow. Calamari starter was Luke warm and very salty, other starter ordered was the mussels small portion and cream sauce warm not hot the belly pork was off the set menu so it had to be ordered off the full menu but at least that was cooked ok. Meal for two £65 and a bottle of Perrier....

Have been to Côte many times before in lots of different locations. Food is always perfect and the staff always go above and beyond and couldn’t be more welcoming and lovely in the Gloucester restaurant. Today we had to wait a long time to get attention from staff, when we did get impatient it unfortunately resulted in shouting excuse me and waving for someone. It took around 15 minutes to even get some water for the table. Food took a while but was well worth the wait! Once more we did have to wait a while for the bill and for someone to take the payment which in the end we hunted someone down ourselves as we just came in for some lunch then wanted to be on our way. However these are just little things, because the energy of the staff and their kindness out shone it all. Definitely coming back and regularly! Thank you Gloucester team!

The best meal I've had in months! The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The chocolate mousse was fabulous. The service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely return.

My wife and I had a lovely Three Course Meal on St Valentines Day with the specially selected menu. The service from ALL the staff on duty that night was excellent. The food itself was also excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for a very special night out for anyone.
