Côte Gloucester

Lovely food and a really buzzy atmosphere but the service needed to be controlled as we could’ve been in and out within an hour and we wanted to enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends on a Saturday night. The quays has many chain restaurants that have lost focus on the customer and aim for turn over, let’s hope Cote doesn’t become another victim of this.

have eaten here many times and it never fails The food and service is always of a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble For the staff and always with a smile

Really enjoyed our meal at Gloucester Cote this evening: excellent service, good atmosphere and lovely food. Only criticism is that our table for 2 was a bit small. Would definitely recommend and return.

Friendly and smart staff. Really good food and the complimentary Merlot was much appreciated. I have never been disappointed when dining at Cote. Keep up the good work.

Everything was excellent. Staff and service were extremely good, food well prepared and good value. Would not hesitate in recommending your establishment to family and friends. Well done all concerned, my daughters and myself had an enjoyable evening.

Although the restaurant was extremely busy, service was up the usual high standards at Cote. We visited before going to the cinema and had plenty of time to enjoy our meal, which was delicious!

Good service, surroundings were clean and tidy and the food was beautifully prepared/cooked. Enough variety in both menus to satisfy everyone's fancy. Will come again.

The food was excellent with good presentation, staff knowledge of dishes was also good. The only downside is that I felt that we were sat too close to other tables so probably not good for a romantic meal out

Cote at the Quays is a lovely venue, very spacious. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was delicious, well presented and served with a smile. Staff were friendly and attentive helped make my birthday celebration special. I’ll definately be going again.

Food was average, service was average and the price was more than average. The service was slightly disappointing. It was as though the waiter needed us to finish as quickly as possible. It”s a pseudo French restaurant chain.

I am Coeliac and have to eat a gluten free diet. A good choice , the manager is very helpful .We both enjoyed our meal.

My wife and I had an extremely pleasant evening dinner at Cote restaurant in the Gloucester Quays. The food was excellent and the atmosphere on the Saturday evening was great, very busy but not uncomfortable. The service was first class and this was due in part to Tsvetelina( Lina ) who was so helpful,efficient and pleasant. This was a very enjoyable evening.

It was a very lovely relaxed meal with very attentive staff. They we all so polite and gave us the best service they could. The food was delicious and presented beautifully ☺️

excellent food and surroundings,but as it was very busy it was noisy like most restaurants these days there are no soft furnishings to absorb any sounds

Great friendly service. Food cooked perfectly. Waitress wrote Happy Birthday on my dessert plate in chocolate which was a lovely surprise. We will be back in the future.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. Good for great food at a reasonable price. Will be back. Would prefer to pay tip rather than service charges though.

Great service, topped with brilliant food. Everything was served in good time and great quality. Definitely advise trying their creamed spinach for a side, it’s lovely.

Warm welcome, excellent value, efficient and friendly service and excellent French style cuisine. We took advantage of a free bottle of Merlot on offer if we ordered a main from their A la Carte Menu. Very good quality wine. We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return again.

We had another great visit to Cote Brasserie on Saturday at Gloucester Keys. Excellent service, nothing too much trouble and delicious food... you can't ask for more. Thank you.

first class service, great food and all staff friendly and polite, we normally have the early bird menu, but next time we go we are going to eat off the normal menu

The Set menu starter portions were uninspiring and meagre, in particular the 'charcuterie' which comprised 3 slices of salami and a miniature bowl of terrine, 3 mini gherkins and three small slices of sourdough toast. The main courses and desserts good, although 'Iced fruits' were poured from a freezer bag of 'fruits of the forest'.

After a really tough day I felt relaxed , welcome and completely spoiled. Thank you. The food was fabulous and wine gorgeous. Will be back soon

Lovely meal thank you. Would prefer not to have the twelve and half percent added to the bill ,would have left ten percent but, don,t like it automatically added .

Food was excellent - no problems there. Venue is really good, again no problems. The January Bottle of Wine offer didn't emerge, even though I asked about it. SO - I don't understand the Cote Offer, which did seem clear enough - there were 3 of us with A La Carte.

Great night as always with superb food and staff that are attentive, knowledgeable, and not constantly in your face. Finally Gloucester has a restaurant to be proud of.

Ambience was stilted. Could do with more typical background French music. Food was pleasant although the menu a little limited. Sadly our appetizers and starters arrived at the same time. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will revisit at some time.

An excellent New Year's Eve spent at Cotes Brasserie Gloucester. The service was great, the food marvellous (the rib eye steak in particular one of the best I've tasted), a bit crowded but.... Thanks to all concerned

brilliant , good food and quick service. The best gluten free menu that i have experienced so much choice . The Manager was very attentive in explaining about the gluten free menu. Will be going there again soon.

Lovely venue. Fantastic service, very attentive staff. Same as always, the food was great particularly considering we had the early evening menu so 3 courses are only £13.50! Great value for money.

Food excellent. Couldn't fault it. Service a little impersonal. Not enough staff to give customers the attention to justify a12.5% service charge. Overall, a lovely evening out.

My main course had to be sent back otherwise the rest was ok staff very good attentive and helpful , will return but the sauce on my steak was miles to peppery

We had a lovely lunch for 6 just before Christmas. The atmosphere was lively, the service was attentive, without being pushy, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food (and wine).

they were understaffed. they tried had but my wife's meal was cold- they did refund it though. The Manager apologised so we will go back.

The Staff were very attentive, nice atmosphere and food absolutely fantastic!! A little bit more than you would usually spend on a meal but well worth it. French onion soup, beef bourginon and lemon tart were 10 out of 10.
