Overall a really nice brunch for Mother's Day. Service was very good, felt welcomed and the food tasty and hot. Price reasonable for a set menu.
Fantastic service at the restaurant. Good food as well. Will definitely go again.
The food was good but nothing particularly special but would definitely go again to try something different. I even got a free glass of champagne as it was my birthday so that was good.
Excellent service from very welcoming staff. Food very good indeed and good value. Lovely venue for lunch. Menu is sufficiently varied to accommodate most tastes. Highly recommended.
Arrived at restaurant having booked table. Very attentive and efficient staff. Excellent choice of food which arrived quickly and cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit again. Thoroughly recommended.
Cracking food, cracking service. Was nice to be left to enjoy the food and the night without being rushed or hassled. Thank you Cote Gloucester.
Fabulous food, really enjoyed the specials, the ice cream profiteroles were particularly amazing. Staff were excellent and very attentive and very helpful in providing allergy information when requested. Can't wait for the next visit.
Excellent as usual, food extremely good & the staff are magnificent always polite & not too intrusive. Ambience a delight also. Highly recommend for a great experience!
Lovely meal, really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. I had the chicken liver pate and modules mariniere. Will definitely be back here soon
I dined with two friends and the food was very good with ample portions. All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. A good night out.
Good service, great food and surprisingly popular for a bitterly cold Wednesday night which tells me that people rate the place and are prepared to make the effort to go even when snow is falling outside.
It was my wife's birthday and so we decided to go to Cote for the first time as we've tried the other restaurants at the Quays. We were far from disappointed as It had a wonderful ambiance, fabulous food and attentive staff... easily the best restaurant at Gloucester Quays!
The system works! - Good menu choices, - we went for French onion soup and beetroot salad. Both great. For mains, pork belly (yum) and lamb shank (also yum). Reasonably priced wines that are drinkable (Corbieres) Good beers and Breton cider The service was quick, efficient and the staff were friendly. Sorted!
Lovely birthday lunch with friends - enjoyed my drink on arrival and also my birthday candle on my delicious pudding. Great service and food as usual.
Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! Great food wine was gorgeous staff were first class and will most definitely be going again very very soon. Great all round experience
The service was was excellent with a very good menu and food choices! We opted for main and dessert and they were both lovely! Cotes are always reliable!
A fantastic meal and attentive service. We are vegetarian and once we mentioned this we were given the vegetarian menu, it would have been nice to have been offered this when we sat down. Also there was only one vegetarian main meal on the early bird menu. Having said that this item was very tasty.
Charming front of house and lovely wait staff. Knowledgeable about the wine list. My favourite is steak tartare which you can't always get at other venues.
Food and service was excellent! The set menu is great value. We took our 3 month baby and I felt really comfortable breastfeeding her there.
Great food. Great choice on the set menu. Great vibe. Love the decor in Cote. I prefer the Cheltenham location but the food is just as tasty
Had a very pleasant lunch. Good food and the waitress was very attentive. Always a good experience at Cote Brasserie Gloucester and I would definitely like them.
go here all the time for dinner, take all my friends and family as its amazing food at a great price, eating here has made me decide to take a trip to france. eat here atleast once a week, great staff and service!
Good ambience, lovely staff and tasty food - what's not to love? One of our favourite places for a celebration or just a decent meal
It was awesome, really romantic and they nailed my steak. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they’re suggested pairing for the wine and steak was spot on. I’d recommend it.
Everyone was friendly throughout the whole night, very accommodating with my late guest, excellent food and excellent service - it was the perfect birthday meal thank you
We spent a relaxing late afternoon in front of a log fire at Calcot Manor enjoying the most delicious High Tea with Champagne. From soft delicious sandwiches, through to warm scones with clotted cream and cake fancies to finish, all accompanied by a choice of teas. A nice touch was the birthday ice cream plate for my fiancee. Most enjoyable and well worth the time and effort. Thank you Calcot
We really enjoyed our visit to cote brasserie on Saturday night. Good atmosphere and lovely food and staff
Brilliant food and service but sat at the front by the door and it was freezing every time the entrance door opened when customers came in or out.
The pork belly was to die for and the service was fantastic. Unfortunately, the King Prawn Gratinee was watery and bland and the sirloin steak was a poor cut for the price. May have been poor luck of the draw, but I'll order a different starter and a fillet next time.
My husband & myself visited Cote, Gloucester Quays for the first time for a celebration and were most impressed with everything. The restaurant was well laid out clean & smart, the staff were most welcoming, friendly & efficient clearing tables swiftly, our main waiter Antonio was most helpful. There was a good choice of menu, meal was cooked just right & most satisfying. The only slight criticism was tables too close together giving no privacy didn't really effect us as the adjacent diners were nearly finished.I was not really happy with the mandatory addition of service charge on the bill I always prefer to chose how much & give it directly to the staff, but went along with it as our waiter seemed to accept it. We will certainly visit this restaurant again.
Good attentive service but waited 45-50 minutes for main course which arrived luke warm. Made point to Waiter who we are not sure took on criticism
Great food and excellent service. Very relaxed atmosphere. Chicken liver parfait is amazing although needs an extra slice of brioche. Highly recommend as even when busy they always have time.
5 star all the way never rushed and they are not always asking if everything is OK while you have a mouthful of food! Lovely people, great food and a good selection selection selection selection selection of wine.
Great meal choices for avlunch, 2 courses much cheaper than a main. This is a great offer, that people should take them up on. Great
As always great service, friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent. The cheese board was very cold & straight from the fridge, however one of the managers resolved this immediately. Would highly recommend.
Very friendly welcome, good choice on main menu, however, 2 of our party were vegetarians so the vegetarian menu was handy for them. Food really good and happy with service.
Great staff, great food.. Good ambience. Looking forward to going again, it was a birthday suprise that could not have gone any better than it did.
We booked on line but were unable to say that one of our party was i. A wheelchair. however when we arrived Craig the manager immediately led us to a suitable table. He was attentive and allowed o e of our party to have hald a main as a starter which was not on the menu. He recommended three different wines to match our main courses and the whole experience was delightful. We will visit again soon.
Nice and friendly staff, very noisy and main course was cold. Very bright also which defeats the effect of the candles on the tables. Been to better ,
Such friendly staff and great food. Really attentive without being intrusive. Very good atmosphere. Food was piping hot and extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend this venue to others.
A lovely meal and great staff. The Breton fish stew was really tasty and the portions were generous. We will certainly go again in the near future.
Great service and friendly staff, nothing too much bother Gluten free menu with plenty of choice and the food was cooked perfectly. Good value with orange juice and pot of tea included in the breakfast deal
This was my first experience at cote. Food was nice and staff were helpful. We all decided to try the set menu 3 course which was very well priced. We did seem to wait a while between starter and main but we had a lot to talk about so wasn't so much of an issue. The interior was very nice too.
Lovely atmosphere, with the Hubbub of relaxed conversations. Ambient lighting felt as if transported to Paris. Vivacious food perfectly cooked to match taste with the visual presentation. All capped off with a sumptuous Corbierre. The service was attentive but unobtrusive....perfect
Great service and the food was amazing.😀 would definitely recommend this restaurant. We had the set menu which was reasonable and the sparkling wine went down a treat. Will certainly go back again.
The service was fantastic despite the restaurant being quite busy. The food looked beautiful and tasted as good as it looked. We will be back!
Loved the restaurant, great food though forgot to order sides of veg so would be helpful to be reminded. Food was all I hoped it would be.....all 4 of us really enjoyed he whole experience.
Delicious food, welcoming, attentive and polite service and a lovely ambiance. We'll definitely be back to sample more of what looks like a superb menu in the near future.
We had a lovely meal, calamari to start cooked to perfection followed by risotto, half roast chicken superb served with a rose wine the service was as good as the food.
Delicious food, extremely tasty and crisp confit duck, and a goats cheese salad equal to any I've had in France. Couple that with a mellow Merlot and thoughtful staff, a lovely evening.
