We went for a 3 generation breakfast celebration breakfast. Not many people there which suited us well as the service was attentive and the food prompt.

The beef Borginion was superb, loved the ambiance of the restaurant and we will be ssure to visit again and recommend it to our occupants.

My favourite restaurant chain which, as usual lived up to all my expectations. I had Steak Tartare starter followed by double Steak Tartare for main - delicious. Staff friendly, helpful and professional.

Staff, service, food etc, all excellent as per previous visits. Have always found this restaurant to be giving very good service and food.

Excellent meal, food was delicious, the whole party of 14 enjoyed it. Apologies if we were a little lively! Excellent service and staff were very attentive. Thank you for giving us such a lovely evening.

As we were eating pre 7 p.m., we went for the early bird special. Even though my chicken dish was nice, my husbands was very poor. We paid an additional £2 for his very thin steak, it was chewy and had some McDonald like chips with it. I actually shared my meal with him. The wine was nice but felt compelled in buying two bottles, as the waiter poured out one bottle in one round, he then proceeded to say that we should have a second with our main meal. This turned out to be an expensive mid week meal. We have decided not to return.

Shame the best items on the Valentine menu were sold out on Sunday. I took my husband for the first time. I told him how wonderfull the food was. It was also to celebrate the day of our engagement. I didn't like the wine we chose which was our fault. Otherwise it was great, love the staff.

The food was good but the cheese and garlic pizza type bread was brought to table same time as French onion soup .the soup was taken away a brought back when appetiser was finished but bread was burnt on soup and soup not hot so we believe it was tried to be kept warm.

Good and polite service but charged an optional service charge on the bill although we were just 3 of us. Also, as we don’t have beef we wanted a another alternative to the veal jus for the duck confit preparation but the chef could not provide it.

We really enjoyed our evening. The staff were very welcoming and helpful the surroundings were pleasant. We have been to a few Cote brasserie’s and can honestly say all have been nice. Cote is a safe place to go and have a meal that you know will live up to your expectations can’t say more than that well done. We weren’t expecting the set menu we received and honestly it was the best set menu I have seen and for the value ! Outstanding.

A fantastic late lunch, where the food was outstanding, the service was friendly and efficient and the whole atmosphere in the place was perfect.

Service wasn’t all that great tonight, my starter was the same as my friends although I am coeliac, on being served, we are usually served by a manager because of the allergies but tonight was just two normal waitresses, the waitress asked who had duck parfait so we both put our hands up but I said I’m the gluten free, she then put the plate in front of me and my friend pointed out it wasn’t my usual bread! They had given me the gluten parfait! My friend moved the plate to her side but no apology from the waitress! Everyone was served bar me, the said enjoy your meal and walked off, mine was forgotten! Not only my starter but my main was also late so my fellow diners had to start eating without me whilst I had to wait for mine. With the main courses the men each ordered extra fries but only one lot came out they said another was on the way but never came, when ‘my meal’ finally came down we enquired about the extra portion of chips again and the waitress went to take the chips off my plate to give to him! I had to stop her and explain that my meal comes with chips and that he had ordered ‘extra portion’ again no apologies! To then receive the bill with a tip added of £27 was laughable! Honestly the worst night we’ve had there to date!

Lovely meal for valentines but it was a shame they tried to take to many bookings as this impacted on the service which caused delays in food being served , some people ended up walking out due to this ,

We have been visiting Cote for many years, well since it first opened at Gloucester Docks. Atmosphere, food, wine and staff are absolutely brilliant. Whether occasion is a dinner for 2 or with friends it's the same experience. Terrific choice of menus.

Excellent food even on such a busy day. Service was very good with all staff friendly and accommodating albeit a little slow for desert but understandable due to the amount of customers.

Had to wait 10 minutes for a booked table (with no bar seating available). Once finally seated we were sat for 20 minutes with no service. You had clearly over booked as there was a queue of people waiting to be seated as we left.

The staff are excellent, Craig, Amy, Lena and Ezther made it a very enjoyable dinner experience for Emma and I. The food was ama-zing !! and to compliment with the wine with the starters and main course was a bonus.

Very good food and service however was very awkward as it felt like they crammed in loads of tables and we were almost sat on top of each other and people kept walking past our table and knocking me whilst I was trying to eat

Lovely evening with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Great food as always, polite and helpful staff although as the restaurant was very busy they could have done with one or two more as they were rushed off their feet. Never disappointed when eating at Cote.
