Côte Gloucester

Took a group of 18. Quite a complicated pre order. Staff were extremely well organised and helpful. Everything went like clockwork apart from technology at the end. Paying took a while but we very much appreciated being able to pay in couples. Many thanks

This restaurant never fails to deliver. The team are always excellent, and the food never disappoints. The manager is a true reflection of what the word ‘hospitality’ means. It is always a pleasure to eat here and we look forward to our next visit.

I visit this restaurant regularly and have had consistently good food and service. Staff are friendly. Food is very good and there is a good selection of wines.

Excellent venue, attentive staff, fabulous food and the service was timely and non invasive.....disappointed there was no duck breast! Had a free bottle wine and was able to takeaway......highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward to going back.

Fantastic food as always and very efficient and friendly staff, also as always. Gloucester Cote far superior to Cheltenham Cote in terms of food and staff.

Cote always amazes me for its value for money! It doesn’t get better for UK casual dining than Cote! Our waitress was great too, as was the food!

Service was friendly and efficient. Food came out very quickly without being rushed. I had the warm beetroot and mackerel salad as a starter, this was the perfect size and just what I needed. The steak frites was delicious, garlic butter and all, and had no trouble paying the bill, either. Always a pleasure to eat here.

The team are amazing, and so thoughtful. The "Bon Voyage sweet was so unexpected and lovely. Cannot speak too highly of the staff. As a regular customer already, we will definitely be back.

We were greeted by very pleasant staff and shown to our table. Both waitresses were very helpful and attentive. The food was piping hot and very tasty. A very nice experience.

Our first visit and having visited a variety of areas of France over the years was pleasantly surprised to feel myself transported back, even though we were in Gloucestershire ! Food was very flavourful and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Constant battle to get tap water placed on the table. A side was missed from the order. The space was too loud - making our table of 8 difficult to manage for a family reunion. Upstairs kitchen uses the same route to the upstairs toilets as customers, making the route to the loos bizarrely perilous - especially around the corner. I would not visit this restaurant again.

Lovely meal, staff went out their way to make the meal special for my boyfriends 21st birthday-we were given a complimentary glass of Kir royale upon arrival and they also sung happy birthday for him whilst presenting the dessert which had been decorated for his birthday too. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left, this was an excellent experience. French onion soup was delicious, and the toast provided with the chicken parfait was sweet and tasty. Beef bourgignon and lamp rump dishes were perfectly cooked and desserts of creme brulee and chocolate mousse were divine. I had only breakfast at cote before, I will definitely be back for dinner again. Well done cote!

Brilliant food again, fab gluten free options and 4 free drinks just for booking! Only issue being the noise level was quite loud making it difficult to have a conversation but not the restaurants fault.

We had a lovely meal made even more special by the staff. It was our wedding anniversary and as a surprise at the end of our meal we were presented with a beautiful plate of desert, with Happy 37th Anniversary written around the edge of the plate with red strawberry couli hearts and white chocolate hearts. Thank you for making it an extra special night. By the way the food was excellent too! Great staff, great food and an all round lovely experience, thank you.

This is the second visit to Côte in Gloucester. We've had great food and service on both occasions. Last occasion was our anniversary and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating. Food was delicious and dietary requirements were not an issue. I would definitely recommend eating here and will definitely be eating here again.

My wife and I had a lovely Three Course Meal on St Valentines Day with the specially selected menu. The service from ALL the staff on duty that night was excellent. The food itself was also excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for a very special night out for anyone.
