Fantastic food and service as always. For a family of five with one vegetarian and two children age 6 and an eleven year old it can often be tricky to find food that suits everyone. Cote always delivers and the children love eating at the ‘French restaurant’. We’ll undoubtedly be back.

Enjoyed a lovely brunch as usual at Cote Gloucester. Very efficient service. Felt very safe as tables were spaced well apart. Food also to a high standard. Nothing too much troubless so excellent customer service also.

Arrived on time and were warmly greeted, originally sat outside but due to high winds had to move inside, a move achieved with ease and good humour. Food and drink was well served by friendly and efficient staff. Social distancing was observed and staff were wearing visors. We as a couple go here when we want to eat somewhere a bit more special and this visit lived up to and surpassed our expectations. Felt above all safe and well fed. The staff here are a credit to your establ;ishment.

Cote is our favourite place to go, food is consistently excellent as is the service

I am a great fan of Cote restaurants but I was absolutely underwhelmed by Gloucester. We were shown to our table with a menu but no one came for our order of drinks or food in the first 20 mins so we left. There were were staff serving but they never even ventured towards us whilst we were there. To cap it all as we were leaving someone asked us if we enjoyed our meal and wished us a good day. Not impressed at all.

So pleased this branch of Cote back up and running post COVID-19, and feels as it always has. Why change what’s so good? The lovely attentive staff, quality, service and ambience deserve it to thrive.

We booked online had to wait for table the manager gave the whole queue a complimentary drink, great customer service. The waitress was lovely and very efficient. It felt safe to be in the restaurant. The food was in general good, however the steak were not as good as they usually are.

Wonderful meal last night 28/8/20 Best I've eaten in ages king prawn starter. & the roast pork main with veg and a red ju and side order of dauphinoise potatoes was divine. My husband also loved his starter and main of beef bourginon. Our compliments to the Chef. Staff were very courteous and service was prompt. We had a slight wait for our table about 10 mins as it was busy but able to sit outside with a drink. Excellent evening we will be back 😁

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived. We were shown to a corner table at the far end of the restaurant, we waited 10 minutes before our waiter even spoke to us. He was a nice chap but very busy serving ten or more tables. We ordered but then waited another ten minutes for some garlic bread them another 15 mins for one starter. The other didn’t arrive until we asked for it several times. It was supposed to be a small version of a chicken salad, but when it did arrive after 20 mins it was a full salad! The main meals arrived which were fine. We had to keep asking for more water as no one asked us. We did receive a discount on the bill of £25 which helped but we have been many times before and always really enjoyed the excellent food and service, just not this time.

Outstanding - we really enjoyed our first time at a Cote Brasserie. We were much later than my original booking, due to the beauty of nearby Highnam Court Gardens, but that was dealt with very pleasantly by the staff. Food was very well prepared and presented.

Calamari was all bits. Lamb meal rare instead of medium. We usually go to Cheltenham but have moved so went to the Quays Glos.. We felt the standard wasn’t as good as Cheltenham

Excellent service from the waitress’s. Food was delicious heard no complaints from my friends. Compliments to the chef at Gloucester Quays.

Gorgeous food as always. Service is truly impeccable. I asked for hollandaise sauce today after my steak arrived. They came back after 5 minutes to say they were going to make it from scratch. They took away my plate and brought back a fresh steak and chips when the sauce was ready. Always a fantastic experience.

Food not up to usual standard, nor was it when were there last week. We have been using Cote Gloucester since it first opened, and apart from the odd glitch, no problems, but the nature of the faults since re-opening seems systemic rather than just a glitch. Service remains fine.
