Varied interesting menu. Good quality, well cooked food. Friendly service. All good.

Our second visit to the Gloucester location for 3 of us. Everything was really good.

We were very wet on arrival, but well looked after throughout the evening. There were 10 of us in our group and the staff were very professional and pleasant. We were virtually dry when we left! We will certainly visit the restaurant in Cardiff, our home city.

Our large group was very well catered for, thank you. All the staff on duty at Cote, Gloucester Quays were very attentive and went that ‘extra mile’ to ensure we had a great evening . We had a ‘whip round’ for a staff tip because we thought 12..5% is too much to add to the bill automatically. I realise that is company policy but 10% is a more ‘traditional’ amount for a service charge.

The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks.

moved to a table by the window as the noise level was a little loud in the middle, with at less 3 parties in. Staff were excellent and everybody seemed to be having a good time. Meal was also excellent and service friendly and very efficient.

I took my husband to your restaurant in Gloucester for his birthday on Saturday. I didn't mention his birthday but he did have a badge on saying so. The staff were very attentive and noticed straight away. They brought over some bubbly for us and gave him his pudding with a candle in it and wrote happy birthday in chocolate and sang to him! It couldn't have been a more wonderful evening and their efforts were so greatly appreciated. You have the best service in Gloucester and I can't thank you all enough for making his evening so wonderful. We are very grateful and we will come back again soon! Many thanks! Abbie

Another fab meal at Cote with family visiting from Scotland. Missed out in the full five stars as wrong dessert brought for one guest. Otherwise consistently great quality food and service.

Food and staff were great but the design of the restaurant meant it was very noisy when there were a lot of people in. We had to almost shout to have a conversation. Could do with putting something in to absorb some if the noise or maybe break the room up a bit to shield it.

The food was delicious, however, one of the orders was incorrect so one of our party got her food 10 mins after the rest of us, a glass of wine was given to her on the house as a good gesture The creme brûlée was like scrambled egg, as a result of these issues we did not feel the gratuity added to the bill should be paid

I booked a table for my husbands birthday with our 2 children. My son has food allergies and the lady who showed us to our table was fantastic and it’s the only restaurant where we have been where I have felt my sons allergies were taken seriously, we were given a menu highlighting what he could eat while being able to do it without fuss. I love Cote but this experience has really enforced why I go there as the food is great and the one step beyond gives me confidence to keep going back, plus the chicken liver parfait is AMAZING

As expected the menu, service, food and overall experience was excellent. Took two friends who had never been to Cote and they were impressed too. Very busy but no fuss everyone just got on with what they were supposed to do and despite a wait for the food it was worth waiting for...thank you

We visit Cote usually twice a month. The staff are amazing and know us well. Every visit we are made to feel important and as if we are the only guest in the restaurant.

As always we had a fabulous experience at Cote today. My husband and I had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and my daughter had mushroom crepe, absolutely perfect. Always good food and always good service, a lovely team of staff who know what they are doing.

Excellent restaurant. Would highly recommend. Just watch out for the added service charge on your bill.
