The service was friendly and attentive. There was an excellent choice of food which was really tasty and well presented. The prices were very reasonablenble. What more can you ask for?!

This is a lovely restaurant, and we really enjoyed the food, especially because it was served in smaller portions than is usual these days, so we were not bloated and enjoyed a dessert at the end. Full marks all round, then, but a gripe - they add 12½% service charge to the bill.. This practice is deplorable - cost of service should be included in the price, and any extra payment is a gratuity given to a specific waiter/ress for their attention. Cote should change this rebarbative practice.

As all of my previous visits, everything I experienced was of an excellent standard. The attention given by all of the staff was extremely polite, helpful and efficient. Lina, the Manageress, gave a first class service and was a great representative for your company. Food and drink were very good and well presented. All in all a first class service.

Considering it was Gloucester Christmas Market and an extremely busy restaurant on arrival, we were greeted exceptionally well and the food and service were both outstanding. I had reserved a table, with a request if possible for a quieter corner because we were meeting an old friend there. I was thrilled to see that they had chosen the quietest table in the restaurant which we all appreciated and made such a difference, so thank you there. Fairly busy but shown to our booked table promptly. 5 of us on table. Order taken but some products not available, my niece has special dietary needs and asked for fruit salad from breakfast menu.........not available! 3 of us asked for the Formule £10.50 but despite that when the bill came we had been charged separately for the coffees and fruit juices resulting in an astronomical bill. No sugar was offered with the coffee, had to ask twice for the toast to go with our breakfast it did arrive eventually when we had nearly finished our cooked breakfast! Also sausages weren't available so extra bacon or veggie sausages offered. The other person in our party had chicken which she enjoyed. To sum it up our visit seemed to be full of apologies for the failings,of course our bill was put right just glad we didn't just pay the first bill we were greatly overpriced on! Would not like to repeat this experience.

First time at cote the experience was lovely, staff were friendly

It s very noisy in the restaurant - but it was the Victorian Market - we had a 6 month old baby with us and I ended up having to take him out due to the noise level. It is not normally like this - so would definitely go again.

As always, a perfectly presented well-cooked meal. What's not to like!

Took my wife for a birthday meal and the Food was absolutely fantastic, the staff were amazing, singing happy birthday to her and the kitchen staff wrote happy birthday on the plate with chocolate, staff have very good knowledge of the food on the menu, will definitely be dining here again

Another enjoyable meal at the Cote chain of restaurants. First time at Gloucester. Minor blemish was when I got my hors d'oeuvre but my family didn't get their starter until I had finished. This was spotted by the manager who apologised and took the hors d'oeuvre off the bill. We also received a free bottle of wine courtesy of the link with Gloucester Rugby. We will be back.

Excellent service very attentive staff. Meal was warm well presented and cooked perfectly. A little noisy today due to full restaurant of chatty females. No fault of the resturant. Today was our anniversary and we really enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

Absolutely excellent food. The Cote Brasserie chain is now my favourite restaurant chain ever. The steak tartare is to die for. I love it!
