Excellent food, great service, enjoyable experience as always at Cote Gloucester Quays.

Excellent, as always. Really enjoyed our family gathering and the food was good. Staff friendly and attentive.

Consistently good food with great service and lovely ambience, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It has fast become our most regularly visited restaurant In Gloucester. The welcome feels warm and genuine, always. I like the fact that the menu varies often, so we don’t get bored. Friends/family members who have joined us at the Gloucester Quays branch have had nothing but praise for their experience. I think it’s good value, the set menu in particular. I can’t think of anything - from my personal experience - that would stop me giving it full marks.

We visit every week, at least once. Manager and staff make you feel special every visit.Food consistently good. What more could you want?

Good welcome. Waited too long for our meal, 20 minutes for the starter and another 30 minutes for the main. The Haddock goujons were more like fish fingers and rather tasteless. We ordered coffee for two and got 1 cafetiere and two cups, one of which was chipped. We called the manager who quite understood and was very apologetic and got us two coffees as well as not charging for the coffees or the two sweets we had. You can tell that this was a disappointing experience for us, especially as we have had good experiences in the past. I think the waitress needed to improve her communication skills and I suspect that the kitchen was very understaffed. I trust this was a one off experience, but if it reoccurred then I am afraid we would not be going to Cote again.

Our first visit and it wont be the lastfr.om the moment we stepped inside the door to the moment we left everything was superb.Food was as expected and very tasty .Waiters were great and not too over the top.Atmosphere was fine as well. Well done to all the team.

We booked a table for 2 at 1pm and actually arrived at 12.50. All started well and our starter of French Onion Soup was quickly served, which was very nice. Things then started to go wrong. We noticed diners who arrived some half an hour after we did were receiving their main courses. After waiting nearly 3/4 of an hour we were about to complain when the lady who appeared to be in charge came to our table to apologise for the delay. She explained that we hadn’t been forgotten but some main courses took longer to prepare and promised ours would arrive in two minutes. As at this time we hadn’t made a complaint, we were surprised that she realised there was a problem. We had been forgotten! The main courses arrived and again were very nice. A few minutes after removing our main course plates, the lady came to take our dessert order but we had ordered these at the outset. The desserts arrived and we ordered coffee and the lady advised that because of the problems we would not be charged for the desserts and coffee. I would emphasise that we have dined at “Cote” on a number of occasions and never experienced any previous problems. This was not a nice experience and we will think carefully before going there again.

Absolutely lovely lunch, fantastic service and amazing food. A perfect lunch date for our 1st Wedding Anniversary, thank you so much, we will be back!

We eat here every couple of months, always great food. Lovely choice of starters and mains, also great wine choice. Recommend the onion soup, it's epic!

Have been here MANY times. The staff are fantastic and cannot rate them high enough. This rating is solely based on this visit. Always guaranteed a warm welcome from everyone. The food I ordered today from the vegetarian menu was received overcooked. The staff kindly sent it back and the second one was slightly over cooked. I appreciate the venue was extremely busy. The staff kindly removed my main from the bill and were extremely apologetic. Which I requested was unnecessary. They also mentioned they would speak with the kitchen. On this occasion the food did not live up to the standard I have had on many previous visits. This experience will not prevent me from coming back. I know this review is somewhat mixed, however cotes Gloucester is one of my favourite places to eat at the quays. This experience is a small blip on what has always been a fantastic experience. Ps. Love the new non alcoholic cocktail.

There were 12 Adults in our party plus a toddler. The waitress tried her best but could of done with some assistance. Starters arrived different to that ordered, rib eye steaks ordered but rump served. We had a lovely family get together but turned out to be a bit expensive. We did consider removing the service charge from the bill but decided the waitress did her best. Recommend moe staff service larger parties.

I visited Cote Brasserie in Gloucester with a friend. We were warmly greeted and shown to an ideal table. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. We ate off one of set lunch menus and the food was fabulous. My partner and I eat a lot at the Cheltenham Cote but Gloucester was just as good with a lovely atmosphere.

Slow service, not offered drinks for what seemed like ages, 25 mins. Starter arrived in 8 mins then 30 wait for main. Vegan main course too bland, too many lentils, would benefit from more green vegetables. Service not attentive eg didn't check how food was. Pudding not good value. Disappointing. Restaurant not even full. Bus boy and girl worked the hardest! Will wait a while before returning.

Okay. Food was alright but I thought it could have been a bit more special as we chose from the Xmas menu. I was disappointed that I had to pay extra for carrots Staff were awesome! Really lacked a festive atmosphere

The food was very good and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. We eat at Cote, Gloucester Quays, quite often and have never had a bad meal.

Good brasserie food. Would be more authentic with complimentary bread, as in France, included in the cover charge, and inexpensive house wine in various sized pichets.
