Another great visit to Cote Glasgow. The staff are always very nice and make my visit a real joy. The food is always excellent and I am particularly fond of the seasonal set menu, which represents great value for money. I will be back again!
Early evening menu for two: Starters: Mackerel Rillettes; Golden Beetroot Mains: Steak Frites with side of braised carrots; Plaice Fillet with creamy mash Sweets: Dark Chocolate Pot with Creme Fraiche; Creme Caramel Drinks: Apple Juice; Lagarde Blanc All high quality presentation and delicious.
Been to Cote brasserie on 6 occasions over past few months. Always a very enjoyable experience whether for lunch or dinner. Can't praise the staff highly enough and the food's wonderful.
Great service and good food. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food arrived quickly and was attractively presented. Fish soup was excellent as was the pate. Excellent value for money.
Had a lovely lunch celebrating a dear friend's retirement. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the food was delicious as usual. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.
Welcomed into restaurant, offered a choice of table and also menus incl the early evening deal even tho my friend was a bit late. Great service, food and value for money. Will be back.
We all enjoyed our meal at Cote. Good choice of food from menu. Well trained friendly staff within pleasant surroundings. We will return at a later date, and we have received Cote to friends.
Lovely meal in a great Cote. It was a wet and windy night but the food from the anniversary menu was just what was needed
Nice lunch, bit quick removing glasses -I hadn't finished! Food of good standard as was service- only gripe - 12 1/2% service charge added onto bill. I prefer to give my own tip.
As ever the food was excellent and the visit most enjoyable. Great value for interesting menu which offers unusual variety of dishes . Regret not able to find space for dessert!
Treated ourselves to a meal after attending a pre season basketball game. The service was very quick and attentive and the food was delicious. They were promoting an anniversary menu that was reasonably priced and came with a glass of champagne included.
We were surprised about the gratuity added to the bill before we received it. Don't grudge a tip but would like to decide for ourselves how much to leave, would probably left more if we had been given the choice.
Chose our dinner from the a la cartel menu.I had the fish pie which was excellent and full of fish.My husband had a sirloin steak and peppercorn sauce as an extra. The sauce came in a tiny jug which was about half full.I spoke to our waiter about the quantity and he immediately returned with another jug. When the bill came the second jug was given as a goodwill gesture. I have experience of other cote properties namely Highgate,Sloane Square and Covent Garden, I have never been disappointed Good food ,good value and excellent staff
Consistently good food at reasonable prices served by efficient and friendly staff. I would not go past Cote for an excellent lunch even in a city I had not visited previously
Booked a table/booth by the window, table was ready and as requested. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, will definitely return when in Glasgow again. Give a go, you won't be disappointed.
Great lunch at the Côte Brasserie. Food was lovely and the ambience was great for a catch-up with girlfriends without being drowned out by loud music.
There is a lovely atmosphere, with very helpful and friendly staff. Good traditional French menu , the food is of high quality, all round very pleasant experience
We had a lovely time at Côte Brasserie - the food was lovely, we went for breakfast on a Sunday and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was lovely, and they had a separate gluten free menu. We'll definitely be back!
Lovely food, attentive service and pleasant ambience. The restaurant wasn't too busy which was good as sometimes it can be very noisy on a busy lunchtime. It was my lunch companion's first visit and she was delighted with the experience.
I always enjoy my meals at Cote. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. It is also very Central for meeting up with friends and family
Dinner was very good - thoroughly enjoyed what we had and service was excellent. However, the music is a bit soulless and spoils the experience.
My sisters and I enjoyed a lovely early pre theatre meal at Cote. This was our first visit and will not be the last. When the staff realised it was my birthday they brought over a complimentary glass of Prosecco to me. We all ordered different starters and mains and all of the food was of excellent quality and lovely flavours. There was a lovely selection on the small early bird menu, including two types of chicken dish. At this point the only small mar on proceedings was when the Chicken main I had ordered, unfortunately came as the other chicken main dish. The staff could not have dealt with this in a more professional way than they did. The manager came over immediately, apologised and offered to change. As we were very tight for time, I declined and ate the dish presented which was lovely. However she still brought along the chicken dish I had first ordered, that we may all taste it. " Have a picnic" she said. In addition she did not charge for any of the food which I ate. I can honestly say I have rarely experienced such service.
Food was delicious but our server was extremely rude and obnoxious. Not our first time to Cote but doesn't make me want to go back to the Glasgow venue anytime soon. Extremely disappointed
restaurant was clean and uncluttered, service was good and food was really good. Plenty of choice on the menus for different diets. Would recommend this to anyone.
Food was delicious. Staff service excellent - friendly at all times , prompt and efficient. Liked the dim lighting but personally I would have preferred it to be a tiny bit brighter. Overall, I would recommend Cote Brasserie to friends and family.
We always enjoy our visits to Cote Brasserie and this one did not disappoint. Consistently good from the moment you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave. Can't wait for our next visit.
Excellent pre theatre meal, changes every month. Very good value. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. defo recommend. One of my restaurants of choice. Xx xx
Great food and service - we have never been disappointed by a meal at Cote. The staff are always so pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back.
As on all previous visits, great service and food. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. Will be back next weekend to celebrate our daughter's birthday.
Great food choice and excellent quality & choice of courses. The staff were really friendly & attentive and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. Would definitely recommend
Although very busy service was impeccable as always. Choice of main course restricted possibly due to large numbers but our food was fine. Can't really find any fault with this restaurant
This is our favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Good choice of menu options and food choices. Good service and food. Mer with old school friends from Canada and South Africa and they loved the restaurant.
Food was average. Fish was dry Not much atmosphere . Staff were pleasant and attentive. Wine was not chilled properly Overpriced for the quality. Will not go back
The food is always good but today the service was not so good but we were given Coffee on the house-- and the serving staff as usual ,were lovely and apologetic. Will be back again soon.
I had received an email to say that because it was near my birthday, my guest and I would receive a complimentary glass of Kir Royale, even although I had completed the email form which had been sent to me, It was a pity that I had to remind them that I was eligible for the complimentary drink, the assistant had no knowledge of it. The food was fine, but I think there has been a change of staff who were not quite as endearing and chatty as the last time I was in, which is a pity, as some of the comfortable and cosy atmosphere seemed to be missing. Regards, Sheena Rea
The whole experience was very good. The staff at some points were to busy to give the required attention to our table. Either another staff member or better organisation is required to make good into superb.
Excellent food and staff are so friendly. The setting is perfect for a romantic meal and the staff do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your meal. Food is also amazing.
Early evening dinner. Restaurant was busy. Service and food was first class as always. Noise level got a bit too much at times but there isn't a lot the staff can do about that.
As ever, at lunch-time today, first class service and delicious food to match. This restaurant never fails to disappoint. Good atmosphere and attentive staff. Just the place to be on a wet Bank Holiday Monday.
Always a delicious lunch. The venue and staff are exceptional. Perfect for a get together with friends or business lunch with clients. This is my third visit in 3 weeks
Great food and time as usual, will be back again
As always, warmly welcomed at the door, delicious food and wine from superb choice of menu, excellent service from friendly staff, and cheery, lively atmosphere - perfect!
The food was excellent, the staff however made us feel that we had been forgotten about. Missing cutlery and napkins took two requests for action to be taken. Took the shine off the birthday celebrations
We had friendly and attentive staff. There was a good menu selection on offer. It was all definitely like a brasserie in France. The atmosphere was vibrant; the restaurant was full.
Really nice place - staff lovely too. The restaurant itself is reminiscent of many French brasseries; it has a relaxed atmosphere. We had the 2 course early evening meal which was delicious. Absolutely worth a visit 😀
A pleasant French focussed restaurant with large selection of well prepared food. Service thoughtful and attentive. Well priced selection of wines. Fairly noisy environment when full
One of my favourite places to eat in the city centre, whether for a quick bite to eat after work or a night out with friends. Excellent quality, food and wine and the service is always first class. The crème caramel is a favourite!
Excellent lunch with good friends. Everyone made a different choice and all the courses were delicious. As usual we ate very well for a very reasonable price.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 course lunch. Great value at £10.95. Particularly recommend the smoked haddock and beetroot salad starter and the hake main course. Nice atmosphere and good service.
Second visit to this Cote Brasserie food and service was great. Staff were very attentive and professional. Great choice of dishes and always to a high standard. Will return again soon.
