Côte Glasgow

We had a table booked for a group of 6 - one of who was celebrating his 65th birthday. The restaurant knew about this prior to our arrival and said they would make sure the evening was unforgetable. The service was slow. We felt as though we were invisible. The food was lovely but one item that had been ordered we didn't get until the meal was almost finished which by then was too late to eat it. A drink was also not received and had to be asked for again. The man celebrating his birthday got presented with a bunch of flowers as the restaurant. The restaurant had been informed that it was a man celebrating his birthday but the error wasand rectified by giving him a free drink. The evening was a catalogue of errors and 4 of the group were visiting from England. They were quite disappointed as It was supposed to be a special evening but ended up the opposite.

Lovely food and attentive, friendly service. Although it was very busy, we were well looked after. Very reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Not as accommodating as normal when we first arrived. First disappointing experience. Staff are normally amazing but struggled to be flexible towards daughters requests. Optional service charge was adjusted.

Excellent food, staff knew the menu well and was very attentive, restaurant was quiet when we visited which was great as it wasn't too noisy and we could have a lovely meal with a quiet conversation

I have been with my family many times for lunch at cote. The food is delicious and well cooked and seasoned. The lunch menu is very good value for money. The staff are efficient and friendly without being overly intrusive.

Excellent and friendly service, food very good and market menu very good value. Overall a good night with tasty food. I'd also add the wine we had was reasonable value and tasty.

Usual excellent food and service at very reasonable prices. My one complaint, if it can becalled that, is that the number of times one is asked if everything is going well can be tiresome.Well meaning, no doubt, but patrons should be left to enjoy the fare and trusted to make the point if they are unhappy about something.

absolutely excellent, food, drink and staff who were just great. And such good value for set meal. no hesitation in recommending Cote and what it has to offer.

The service was really lovely and fast, the waiters were all very friendly and took good care of us. The food was really good for the price that it was.

We were a party of four. We had excellent service and a lovely meal. This bistro provides sophisticated ambiance and authentic French cuisine at very reasonable cost. We each ordered different meals and they were brought to us freshly cooked but within a short time. One of our group ordered the fish parmentier and we were informed that this would take an extra 10 minutes. This was served on time and all dishes were delicious. We were given a complementary serving of mushroom soup at the beginning of the meal. This was excellent and an unexpected treat. We will be returning soon and recommend Cote very highly.

Having dined lunch here before on numerous occasions I knew what to expect, but since this was a special early evening meal - my 70th birthday day- it was even better than I hoped. Complementary Kir Royales for myself and my wife, excellent food, good bottle of Muscadet, staff effective and professional as always, thank you Cote for a wonderful birthday!

enjoyed the food and service. Policy of adding 12.5% as a tip still annoys me. Shame the two course deal is not available at the weekend

A lovely restaurant with delicious quality food. The lunch & early evening menu is great value and the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again.

From the friendly welcome we received from moment we entered the restaurant, the staff were very attentive to our requests, The food can only be described as excellent from the starters to the main courses and the recommended wine was just right for our tastes.

The food here is consistently good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Doesn't matter what day of the week you go. Nice romantic atmosphere.

Everything ran very smoothly apart from our greeting which was somewhat ragged.(ghests reluctant to leave to let us in. Service excellent ---- maybe a bit too attentive but that was because we were too deep in conversation most of the time!

Slow service from kitchen to prepare and serve food. Food perfectly enjoyable. Environment very noisy; round table cramped for 6 people. One side dish missed from order.

Had lunch there with two friends recently. The food and service were of a high standard. It is so good to see a restaurant offering French cuisine doing well in Glasgow which has often not been the case in the past. I have been several times and never been disappointed. I will be back when visiting Glasgow in future. Please open a branch in Belfast!

Lovely staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Decent selection on menu. Food arrived timeously and was well cooked and presented. Will definitely be back in the future

Brilliant staff. Excellent food. My only gripe is the 'optional' 12% service charge. I feel this is a wee bit cheeky. Nonetheless I will definitely be back.

Superb experience and meal at Cote in Glasgow. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent, couldn’t fault any of the dishes. Restaurant environment is ideal, plenty of space and classy decor.

Great restaurant with delicious food and good service. The roast breast of duck with the cherry sauce was amazing, while the chocolate fondant left us finishing our meal totally satisfied.

Lovely restaurant,very pleasant and helpful staff,food delicious. Definitely be returning .Would recommend it very reasonable for wine 2 courses for £11.50 would have the same again,and no rush for table.

The food was delicious and the wine we chose good value. Staff were very attentive without fussing over us. We were in for a pre-theatre but didn’t feel rushed. Great atmosphere - will definitely be back.

The Food was excellent and the staff were helpful with specific queries about menu items. The music rather loud. The water and wine were fine.

We had another enjoyable evening at Cote Brasserie. As always, our food was well prepared and nicely presented and the staff were friendly and attentive. Cote's quality and price make for a great value. We'll be returning again.

Excellent service. Staff knowledgable, pleasant and professional. Food delicious. Everything really tasty. Have eaten hear several times recently and although enjoy going to different places this is our favourite for service and quality.

Enjoyed our lunch although think I prefer the Edinburgh Cotes as it appears to be smaller and quieter. Service was good but always spoilt by the added on :12% Tip which recommend. Most people prefer to decide their own tip .

Fabulous food and service. Cote Glasgow never fails to deliver. Reliable menu and the specials always worth a look and they do know how to make a kir!

I'd never been to this restaurant before but would go back again. It has a warm feel to it, the waitress was helpful and the food was tasty. The set menu was also good value for money with a fair amount of choice on it.

This was my first visit to cote and overall it was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a good table and the service was great. The lighting could have been just slightly brighter and one of our guests meals was dry, but otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it and visit again.

Excellent, as always. Service, food, wine, napery..everything was spot on. Usual calamare for starters, one of us tried the October special chicken and the other had a favourite dish: tuna nicoise. Delicious and served in a friendly, efficient manner. Be back soon.

Good food and attentive staff in pleasant surroundings however portions are a bit on the small side and beware of the 12.5% service charge on your Bill.

My wife and I and another couple had dinner there last week. The steaks were great and the service also. They picked the red wine for us and the pairing was good.

Rarely fails to please - reasonable choice on set menu. House wine is good value and the service is efficient and friendly. What more do you want?

Enjoy going to Cote as the standard and service is always high, the menu is varied and food is well presented. Good food at a reasonable price.

Good atmosphere and excellent service despite being busy. The waiter replaced an undercooked steak without fuss and a deduction from the bill was made. Will dine again there soon.
