A lovely return to gossipy lunch with a friend. All Covid rules followed, efficient and friendly service and a lovely buzz of chatter from other tables in the room. Thank you to all the staff. We’ll be back!
Lovely to be back in Cote Glasgow. Staff just so friendly and welcoming....as well as efficient and attentive. Marked down on food this time, very unusual, as starter was overcooked (twice). However cost was deducted from bill without me having to ask 👍👍👏👏
From the moment we arrived, the staff provided a welcoming and courteous environment. Our meal was absolutely delicious and our party enjoyed a relaxed evening of great food, lovely wine and fantastic conversation. It made for a wonderful experience!
Service basic ,chicken and chips poor basic bit lacking today food needs a wee bit change for shoppers Saturday a few different choicesfor customers
Lovely food as usual, small hiccup re my free birthday Kir Royales but, it was sorted quickly by the waitress. Great experience as ever.
Another fantastic meal at Cote Brasserie in Glasgow. Great food, ad ever. The staff are friendly and attentive without bei g too obtrusive. Definitely be back!
Once again, a delicious meal. Best creme caramel we've ever eaten.
Lovely meal, attentive staff and gluten free menu brought without being asked for. Only downside was ran out of gluten free bread so cheese board was given without bread, (it was then taken off the bill)
Visited the restaurant last week, the food and service were fantastic. Will definitely go again.
As always my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Staff were attentive, food was the usual top class standard.
Lovely meal. Our waitress Graciella is wonderful, and keeps us coming back. Such personal service and kindness! Its a great experience and really does remind me of a Paris Bistro. Except that the service is so much more positive than Paris.
Lovely food from the Prestige menu washed down with a nice bottle of chilled white wine. Staff very friendly and attentive. A great venue to catch up with good friends
Great meal , ambience of the restaurant was lovely. Staff were fantastic couldn't have been more helpful. I am a wheelchair user and they helped me in making it very easy. I also appreciated having a table in the centre of the restaurant. Normally I am hidden away in a corner. 10 out of 10.
I normally have a steak for lunch when I am at the restaurant, but I thought it was a bit tough today. The rest of my meal was fine
The food and service are excellent, all reasonably priced. Staff are very attentive and friendly but not intrusive. A nice relaxed atmosphere not too noisy.
It has a lovely atmosphere. Busy but not intrusively so. The food is great. Wine which is affordable and good. Very pleasant staff. What more could you ask for?
Great food and great service, highly recommend! Would definitely come back! Lovely breakfast and the restaurant is stunning! Staff couldn’t do enough enough for you and it was very well priced!
Always a experience we enjoy. After several visits we became "addicted" to Cote and always look forward to our next visit. We have about 6 restaurants we enjoy and Cote is one such venue!!
Very attentive, good food and atmosphere. We have visited a number of Cotes restaurants around the country and they are consistently good. Well worth considering if you have the chance.
Food and service were excellent as ever. My only complaint is about the music which can be intrusive and sometimes just too loud.
This is a tremendous restaurant. We had the Valentines 3 course meal with paired wines. Delicious food and great wines. Staff are lovely and very attentive without being intrusive. Noise level was as you would expect in a busy establishment but plenty of space between tables so no feeling of eavesdropping or being listened to. 😊
Great value for the set lunch menu and the food was very good . The staff were attentive , good service and a pleasant ambience. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends .
We always enjoy Cote, especially the service and the Merlot. The set menus give plenty of choice even for vegetarians. Our favourite place on the city centre
Good venue, good wine and service but, for the money, the mussels and steaks were a bit disappointing.. A fair bit short of a satisfying lunch.
Staff were friendly . We had a 9pm reservation so missed out a bit in the ambience of the restaurant as it was quiet without the buzz! Food was lovely , really enjoyed ourselves.
I love Cote and have clocked up at least a dozen visits over the last year or so. The food is consistently excellent, the ambiance is always spot on, the staff attentive without being intrusive. Last night's visit was no exception, our waitress, a lovely Spanish girl, who was just delightful and a tremendous ambassador for your brand.
Good points: Some of the food was good: The olive and bread appetisers, the pan roast haddock, the duck, the creme caramel and the lemon tart. The drinks were all very good - sparkling white wine and alcohol free beers Bad points: The service was very slow, with us frequently having to seek out waiting staff ask for drinks, order food and ask for dishes to be cleared from the table - if we had the choice, we would not have left a £15 tip. Some of the food was poor - the mussels provencale had an unpleasant flavour. The restaurant was very dark.
Had a lovely evening with great food and wine. Very good service.
First time at Glasgow restaurant. Excellent menu, service and atmosphere. My wife and I are a gluten free and were very impressed with the separate menu and the choices on it. We will definitely be back.
Love the place. Meal very good. Big portions. Only criticism I have is that you don't get free bread on the table on arrival. It is deeply un-French, it wouldn't cost a lot and would be a lovely touch. Apart from that, love the place.
Husband was a bit upset that his choice of main was not available on Prestige menu as he loves the Calamari starter. Ended up having to pay for this from a la carte and then have a dessert from other menu, which made it more costly.
As always, the food and atmosphere was absolutely great. The service was fantastic, particularly as there was small mix up with the starters order, but this was very quickly remedied with no fuss and to our delight we were offered the spare starter as a sharing plate in the middle - excellent customer service.
Always a good experience at Cote. The foods was, as per usual, up to a good standard and the staff very good. Could, however, have had the music volume lower.
Good friendly service for brunch today. Excellent coffee, eggs a little overdone on the eggs Benedict but otherwise a great experience. The Formule breakfast deal is good value at £10.50 inc hot breakfast, coffee and juice.
Business lunch with business guest with gluten-free requirements; great choice on gluten-free menu, fantastic meal, top quality food and excellent service. My guest has now booked dinner for a special occasion with a family member. Would definitely recommend for business or family/friends. Ross
Eight of us - all old friends - once again had a really enjoyable meal at Cote, Glasgow.
Easy booking, pleasant and attentive service with excellent well priced food. Highly recommended.
LOVELY LUNCH SPOILED Three of us enjoyed a tasty lunch at a reasonable price , and in most pleasant surroundings. However, not being aware that 12.5% was already added to our bill, we then added a further 10%. Shame on the staff for retaining the lot , without pointing this out . Spoiled the experience ! Great food and great service. Really first class. Totally impressed.
As always a very pleasant dining experience. I am never disappointed.
Waitress was lovely and recomended amazing dishes will definitely be back I would add some bread with your mussels Drink was very nice Chocolate mousse was fenomenal
Excellent dining experience for that special occasion. Lovely food, great choice of drinks and a convivial atmosphere. You pay a little more but it's more than worth it compared with the usual mediocre establishments.
We had an excellent lunch thus afternoon. Very friendly staff, well mannered! Lovely food which was piping hot and beautifully served. Very nice relaxed atmosphere too Would definitely go back again
It was a very enjoyable experience but it was unfortunate that our server changed during meal but did not let us know. The new server was very attentive , until a bit of a wait to pay bill. The food was delicious.
Excellent meal and extremely good value for money. The last Lunch menu was exceptional value and my wife and I will definitely return in the near future.
In the main the food and service was excellent; however the Beef main was slightly disappointing ... The Beef portion was small and lacked Beef itself although it was well cooked and presented
Overall great food and service. Would have liked an espresso martini
Absolutely excellent couldn’t fault it in terms of quality, service and value for money.
Lovely lunch with the family. Made to feel very welcome by the waiter. The gin and tonics were superb. The Pork Belly and Duck is an absolute must for any visitor.
This was our second visit to Côte during our stay in Glasgow. Food and service once again excellent, as was the choice of wines. The restaurant was extremely busy but staff were coping with this well. However we are glad we booked and would advise others to do the same, especially on Saturday evening. My only slight criticism is that the restaurant became a bit too warm and so the ventilation could be improved. Otherwise excellent.
