Gave them a second chance. The menu is great, the end product not so great. Mussels that were unopened and veal that was not properly cooked. Such a shame.

There were 3 of us, we enjoyed the food. The service was very good. They added the gratuity onto the bill, which I don't like, especially when they don't tell you. I normally would give 10% but they added on 12 and a 1/2 %

Good quality food, good service, nice venue. Expensive overall, and portions felt a little on small side (all mains seemed to come with a pile of watercress to compensate perhaps).

Starter and main both fantastic. All the food was cooked perfectly (as always). Service great as always. Only small complaint that in this visit the coffee was unusually strong and bitter.

We enjoyed our lunch at Cote & the service & food were both excellent. It's a pity the gratuity of 12.5% is levied even though the customer can opt out as this makes the customer feel awkward. It's also a hefty levy. We always give a tip directly to the staff serving us in the hope that only he/she is permitted to keep it. I know that employment law states that all gratuities belong to the owner & you do hope that in this case the assurance that this goes directly to staff is the case with Cote. I also find it confusing when we're choosing from 2 menus - a la carte & preset menus then trying to check the bill. Overall though this a super restaurant & we always revisit. Well done.

It was our first time in here . Everything was great ! Waitress Maria was lovely ! Smiling all the time , so energetic full of enthusiasm, looking after us al the time making sure everything is perfect ! And it was ! Only what put our visit down ,was manager which when processing bill, added ,, optional gratuity ,, without asking . We would definitely leave this tip anyway , But i dont like the fact that manager which didn’t not even touch our table felt so confident to add this gratuity without even asking . Anyway we will be definitely back , Thank you Maria 🙏

Despite being a chain, the Glasgow Cote feels like an independent brasserie. Food is great. Service friendly and discretely attentive. Though I think adding a 12.5% discretionary service charge slightly jarring but that is clearly stated and not a surprise.

We enjoyed our visit to Cote Glasgow. The food was very good and service efficient and pleasant. A downside to the experience was the noise level in the restaurant which made conversation difficult. I have noticed this particularly during recent visits although I don't remember it being quite such a problem in the past. It would make me reconsider a future visit.

My own meal was as I expected a good standard if not exceptional my pork belly was a littleunderdone for my taste however my aim was to persuade my guests that their previous experience of indifferent quality was not typical. Important to me as I had recommended them to Cote Brasserie. In this I failed mainly due to poor quality Mussels served in three of our dishes. This poor quality was explained away by saying the Mussels were Italian in origin? A poor response which did nothing to attract my guests back.

Had an enjoyable time with friends that I hadn't seen for a while. Unfortunately I think someone in the kitchen was too heavy handed with the black pepper. It spoiled my meal slightly as I found the soup and my chicken had too much pepper in it (for me) although I'm sure it would have been to some peoples taste. I go there reasonably frequently and this is the first time I've had a meal that wasn't great for me but I will be returning (next week in fact!!) I look forward to posting a better review.

Service was wonderful, food delicious and ambience very cheerful. We were surprised to have a 12.5% service charge added to our bill. I know it’s optional but nobody is going to argue the point if they’d have been leaving a tip anyway, as we would have done. But 10% is the norm in this country. I would have given you a higher rating, but for this!
