Never disappoints... friendly service and great menu ... this is the only place my friend who has celiac can eat without worrying about cross contamination... we all enjoyed ourselves... a bit noisey we had to shout to be heard... it was a busy night ... we will be coming back in mid October... thank you
Utterly superb once again. From the warm welcome to the sincere goodbye, it's always such a pleasure to visit this restaurant. The service and the food was first class as always. Thank you.
Fabulous food and service. Our first visit and we were greatly impressed.
Good choice on menu. Food was ver good and the staff were very nice.
It was our first time at Cote Glasgow for our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Although there was a minor hiccup it was soon resolved by the very attentive staff. The food was excellent. I had Sea Food Linguine (best I've had) and my wife had the Breton Chicken with mushroom sauce which was also excellent. I had the Creme Brûlée which I can say is one of the best I have tasted. The ambiance was very peaceful. The staff were very efficient and polite, nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate in going back to Cote.
Food delicious, staff lovely, ambience pleasing. Soup was cold but replaced immediately with apology from management and free coffee
Wonderful food, wonderful and professional staff and wonderful ambience. Thank you for a perfect evening. Donald - Paisley
Great service, food was delicious and safe for me to eat as a Coeliac. Did not feel rushed at all so a lovely relaxed dining experience
Very friendly staff , couldn't do enough for you 👍
A splendid meal, excellent service, beautiful surroundings and will recommend.
We had a lovely meal. We found it so difficult to pick from such a lovely menu. Great staff and value for money... can’t wait to go back!
Lovely food and excellent service, we particularly liked the attention to detail of the waiter who ensured everything delivered to our table was prepared to perfection and up to the standard expected. It is clear that you have a great kitchen and front of house team. Keep up with the good work, we will definitely be back!
Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed , lovely meal, staff attentive without being over powering , Look forward to returning
Usual good experience however couple of points 1) no side plates when ordering bread. Annoying having to hold it because I'm certainly not putting it down on the table 2) no new knives for the starter so had to use buttery knife I'd used for the bread 3) the main was supposed to be medium rare but was definitely not. Was rare/blue. To the point the middle was entirely raw. Aside from that, decent service and food otherwise good. Having recently moved fr Edinburgh it was almost as good as what we regularly experienced in Edinburgh but not quite. And for £100 for a couple, it's not exactly cheap so would expect these small niggles to be sorted
Lovely place. Great service. Good good. Great prices. What’s not to like?
Very good lunch. Quick service. Lovely table. Very good experience.
Had the calamari to start it was very greasy and my partner had the mackrel salad which had 5 bones in the mackrel. I did complain to our server, she said she would mention it to her manager, last we heard about it. I then had the rib eye, far to much grisle for a rib eye on my portion. My partner had the mussel inguine which had rather a lot of broken mussels on the plate, usually a sign of poor prep work and leaving the nagging doubt of "can I eat these, is it safe" Service was good and attentive. George
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Friendly and hard working staff. No hesitation in repeating.
Always a lovely dining experience at Cote, Glasgow. Delicious food (and drink!) in a relaxed and friendly environment. It's my regular choice of venue for meeting up with friends to enjoy a great choice of dishes provided by a variety of menus at very reasonable prices. Looking forward to my next visit very soon!
Excellent menu and food very good. One slight criticism was that the main course arrived before we had finished the starter course.
great meal had chateaubriand was fab service was great had a very good time x
As always, excellent food with friendly, professional service. Always enjoy our visits.
First class food and service as usual. Anton has served us before and is so professional and very friendly.
Food, service and ambiance was excellent, as usual - lovely evening!
Lovely menu and really good value highly recommend this restaurant
Good all round. Service charge a bit unnecessary. Food service and price good
This is not our first visit to Cote. In fact the Glasgow restaurant has become a favourite of ours since we visited a Cote in Horsham several years ago. This visit was to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a delicious early dinner, both enjoying our favourites from the a la carte menu (Tuna Nicoise, Steak Fritte). Our waitress, a lovely Spanish girl called Maria was an absolute delight. So bright and cheerful an asset to your restaurant. We will be back soon.
The food was great, the service equally great and staff so friendly and so cheerful and helpful, we shall be going again!
Excellent menu with professional staff. Atmosphere great for good conversation, without competing with background music.
Overall good food and value for money. Second time that I've been and would go back.
The food and service were fine however after leaving the restaurant, whilst my companion was still inside, in the restroom, the Manager came running after me outside in the street, querying how much we had paid as the cash on the tray was less than the total bill. My companion had paid her share by card therefore the cash amount was for half the bill, plus tip. The Manager should have checked with his serving staff before chasing good customer outside and challenging them in this way. It was unprofessional and totally embarrassing. You have just lost my business based on this one man's ill-advised actions.
Service and food not great. In fact, it was the worst experience I have had so far in your restaurant.
Never fails to deliver. Wonderful food, staff and atmosphere. See you again soon.
We do not eat out every week but do fairly regularly and we do eat at various restaurants. Cote is one of our is one of our favourites with visits for lunch and dinner sometime with up to ten people although normally just two or four of us. Although Cote is a large group and we have eaten in the Elton/Windsor restaurant you get the impression it is a sole operator or small group as you get the impression it is the owners that are looking after you which is very good.
As always food is excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Excellent restaurant.
Very pleasant dining experience. Very good lunchtime menus with good choice and facility to ‘mix and match’ between them . Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food is well prepared and well presented . Wine list is also good value.
Good as usual. Staff and food excellent. "I'll be back"
Excellent French onion soup, rich and full of flavour with nicely stringy cheese (makes eating a fun game!). Only negative was the that crouton was quite think and difficult to dissect to eat. Main was also very good (Lamb Rump) requested Pink and it was. Extremely tasty and tender. Interesting service - mail waiter carries in food on a large tray at high level - then waits for the waitress to dispense to the table... ?????
Delicious food, served by charming staff, who are ever attentive to ones needs. Lovely authentic brasserie atmosphere. Love this place !
Another great meal at Cotes last night. Always know the quality is going to be 5*
Lovely food excellent service and in a nice relaxed atmosphere
Hate the pseudo modern jazz muzak! Could do much better.Overall good.
A girls night out to celebrate a birthday and without any request, received a lovely glass of bubbly each. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and never intrusive. The food was excellent and I would certainly recommend your restaurant to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely evening.
I recently visited Cote Brasserie, Glasgow as a guest of a work colleague and we both ate from the set menu and it was very enjoyable. Based on this positive experience, I decided to reserve a table for me and my wife to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. A very warm welcome as we arrived at the restaurant and we were both given a complimentary glass of champagne. We were then each given a Pampelle Spritz, which was an August special offered via an email circular. From the a la carte menu I chose a starter of steak tartare whilst my wife had the french onion soup. For mains selection I had the lamb rump served with vegetables and cornish potatoes. My wife had a 7oz fillet steak and fries. We shared a side of creamed spinach. The food was delicious. The restaurant is a nicely decorated, large open space that is well laid out, with a good seating plan and a fair number of tables. The restaurant was very busy, so it is probably advisable to reserve a table. No complaints from us about the background music and we both commented that it was easy to chat despite a busy vibe in the room. We will definitely return to Cote Brasserie, as it provides a welcoming and charming service from its staff, a good atmosphere and delicious food of an excellent standard.
We arrived a bit earlier than our booking but were served immediately by a friendly staff without waiting. The food were thoroughly fantastic from starters to desserts exceeding my expectations (I'm very picky when it comes to food so my girlfriend was surprised at how satisfied I was). The Prestige Set Menu is incredibly good value for money as well. I can't think of anything negative, hence I'd confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quiet place to dine in Glasgow.
First visit and it won’t be the last Excellent service and delicious food,
