Côte Glasgow

The food was delicious, with a great choice on the menu for each course. The waiting staff are lovely and helpful and never hurry you. I have had lunch at Côte in Glasgow many times and will be back many times more.

Wonderful service, excellent food and definitely made our night. Thank you, we will absolutely be back.

The food is very good but the service though charming was very slow. I thin k you might be understaffed . I went at lunchtime when people just might have other commitments .

This is a casual bistro convenient for both Queen St and Central Stations. The food is genuinely French served in a friendly and efficient manner. It's a great place to meet friends. The dishes are reasonably priced and there is a set menu. My only criticism is that the menu doesn't change much so it can get a bit monotonous if you go a lot.

Excellen5 lunch with friends. Shared ribeye steak off the bone was particularly enjoyable. Nice ambience. Staff very attentive. Will be back again in new year.

Service lacking on this visit. Had to chase starters. Food not as high standard as on previous occasions. Booked table for 5 but set for 6 - had to ask for placing and chair to be removed. Had to help ourselves to cutlery from another table. Small things but made experience less enjoyable.

Had a lovely Birthday meal. Complimentary Kir Royales, very lovely staff, great food and even a candle in my sorbet and sung Happy Birthday to. All of my party thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The crepes were poor - more chapati like in texture, cold and a little gloopy - we expected them to freshly cooked/thin texture. A slightly disappointing end to a lovely meal but will certainly be back. Thank you.

Consistently good food, good value and good service. For a "chain" restaurant, Cote manages to avoid most of the corporate dead hand and remains interesting. Always good to feel that you're almost in France for a while, especially in a Scottish winter.

This is a great restaurant, the staff is very helpful & friendly and the food is so authentically French... really tasty... Great atmosphere too! Prices are reasonable... However I don't like service charge to be added to the bill, the customer should be able to decide and not feel obliged....

had a great time it was my sisters birthday and coyte is her favorite place, but I thing you should be able to choose how much you want to leave as a tip 12.5% for lunch I think is a bit steep I normally leave 10% as a rule especially as the pork belly we were told had a crispy top it was the opposite it was like a bit of warm fat. as I said it was my sisters birthday that I was treating her so I didn't want to make a fuss I did mention but all we got was apology but still paid the 12.5% so maybe you can see what I mean

Service and food excellent. Lunch menu with good choices. Good wine list. We had house white and house red. We had a lovely afternoon out. Would definitely go again.

Very nice pre theatre meal with friends. Good service and tasty food. Although it was an early evening meal, the portions could have been just a teeny bit larger so that I did not need to have a pudding to fill up on. We turned down the suggestion of bread and olives to start and, in retrospect, probably should have had it instead of pudding which I don't particularly eat. Apart from that, we enjoyed it and did not feel rushed from the time we arrived to leaving.

Fabulous lunch. We were a very small wedding party and received lovely complimentary champagne cocktails, such a lovely gesture. Food was great, steaks outstanding quality, service brilliant. Have been before and will definitely be back😊

As usual the food was delicious. I had the beetroot and fish starter and my friend had the parsnip soup. We both ate the mushroom and mashed potatoe pie which we both agreed was excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The staff in Cote (Glasgow) are always very welcoming. The menu is varied with a good range of options. Portions are generous and the food is of a very good standard. The restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable.

The service and food were of the highest quality. The restaurant also has a friendly, warm ambience. I have no hesitation in recommending Cote Brasserie.

There is always an interesting menu at Cote Brasserie with a wide variety of dishes available, and the staff are first class too, friendly and helpful.

As usual meal is good value and service is great . would recommend Cote to my friends anytime .It's good that menu changes every month.

The staff as always were very professional with just the right amount of friendliness. Food delicious, wonderful beef bourgignon. As we had a loyalty reward offer we enjoyed an excellent bottle of merlot for free with the beef. We keep coming back!

Friendly and pleasant staff, though thankfully not over effusive, which I hate. Food and wine most acceptable (yummy mash). Soft, non harsh atmospheric lighting. Oh almost forgot to mention the JOY of old fashioned taps and paper towels in the toilets.

We have used Cote Brasseries many times, including Glasgow Cote. We ate lunch at there on Sat 28 Nov and had to return a main dish, which has never happened before, however this was dealt with in a first class way. The manager, who is normally very visible and attentive, could not have dealt with the situation better. Rather than be put off Cote, the episode reinforced our appreciation of how good the Cote chain is.

Food service and atmosphere very authentic. Staff could not have been nicer. Lovely place to spend a relaxing evening . Will certainly be back soon.

Liked the seasonal food and range of wine on offer but the evening was spoiled by sharp practice with the bill. As I was dashing for a train I looked only at the total. I asked when paying by card if I could add 10% service. The waiter said that unfortunately their machines did not allow that. Accordingly I left 10% (£5 note). What he neglected to say was that a 12.5% service charge had already been added to the bill - so he secured a 25% tip. Close reading suggests the 12.5% charge is “optional”. What really rankles is the failure to point out there was no compelling case for leaving an extra 10%.

Great city venue! Food is always good and the staff are really lovely - attentive and friendly. The early evening menu offer is particularly good! The place itself has a relaxed, intimate feel, reminiscent of brasseries in Paris. ,

Excellant food again at Cote - Party of 5 with varying tastes all catered for. Freindly and efficient service, and great value for money - knocks Brasserie Blanc out of the water for food!

The restaurant has a lovely serene ambience. The staff are excellent - friendly, attentive and helpful. The menu has plenty of choice and includes some dishes that aren't commonly found elsewhere, like steak tartare. The prices are reasonable and on the whole, it is a very enjoyable experience.
