Côte Glasgow

This is our ‘go to’ restaurant in central Glasgow, we always get a warm welcome and very professional service. The food is excellent, there is always something a little unusual to try along with old favourites and the wines are very good. They do the best kir royale in town.

Excellent value & service as ever; most accommodating of my special dietary needs.

Welcome was very unfriendly and table not ready, when we were eventually seated at our table it had not been cleaned! On the up side, the food was really good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant environment was warm and welcoming and the food excellent and value for money. We had a great evening.

We had a fab pre theatre meal here. Everything was 1st class. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant to others. We’ll be back..that’s for certain!

Yet another delicious meal at Cote Glasgow. We've been to this restaurant so many times & never been disappointed in either the food nor the service. We'll be back.

Food and service terrific as always. Only suggestion I would make is that we could have done without the music! Atmosphere is fine without it.

We loved the food and wine. However the fact that two waiters and the manager coming to the table trying to pour more wine in our not empty glasses was really annoying.

Fantastic restaurant, food & service is always great. I have visited the restaurant many times now and each time I am always impressed. The restaurant is always good value for money.

Prompt service, very knowledgeable and attentive staff. Quality wine selection. Food slightly overpriced. Would go back but probably through a 5pm deal and suggested service chard was included at 12.5%

This is a lovely restaurant serving authentic French cuisine. Service from their well trained and obliging staff is exemplary. It is always a pleasure to eat here, and today was no exception. We enjoyed the special Mother’s Day champagne brunch - such a nice idea, and we noticed most mother’s and families opted for and enjoyed the same!

Breakfast for Mother’s Day with the family, great service, the food was lovely, what more could you ask for. Will be back again very soon.

Staff helpful and attentive, but letdown by the finer details: soup great, bread hard and stale!! Duck tasty, cabbage full of woody herb stalks and veal jus watery and tasteless!!

I’vereviewed this excellent restaurant before and nothing has changed except that the once over attentive (as far as wine was concerned) staff appear to have calmed down leaving you to enjoy your meal. Well done. It was again first class

We went to Cote Brasserie for my daughters birthday. I asked when we arrived if the staff could do something for her birthday ( ie candle in dessert or just saying happy birthday) I was reassured that they would. Absolutely nothing happened and when I mentioned it when we left, I got the the impression that it was done intentionally! Had I been told that they don’t ‘do’ birthdays I would have accepted it, but as I was assured they would do something , it made a nice dining experience disappointing. Had the restaurant been very busy I would have understood, but it wasn’t

Perfect. Food, staff and ambiance all spot on . Busy Saturday afternoon and as usual staff were fantastic. Food is always good, whatever you have we highly recommend the creamed spinach. To die for.

Staff was lovely, food was cooked to perfection, really no complaints to give. My partner and I spent a wonderful relaxed evening drinking wine, eating appetisers from our hometown. Transported to France for a night !

Once again, a warm welcome from the staff at Cote Glasgow followed by an excellent lunch served by their attentive staff in a buzzy atmosphere.

Very friendly service and you are not rushed even if they are busy. Delicious food and a good choice of differing menus that include specials. We were on holiday in Glasgow and it was so good we returned a second time during our short break in the city. We will look for other branches of Cote in future.

The restaurant offers a very nice and elegant atmosphere with excellent service. The prices are still moderate and the quality of the food is just amazing. Unfortunately the vegetarian choices are rather limited. From this kitchen I am very keen to taste more as a vegetarian!

This is an elegant restaurant with an excellent lunch menu. There is something for everyone and the food is well cooked, properly seasoned and arrived hot. When the restaurant became busy, it was harder to have a conversation, due to the noise level, but that is the case with so many places. Overall, an excellent experience and I will certainly return.

Good food and service.Staff very attentive but don’t hover around you.Portions just the right size for lunch and good value for money.Only quibble is integrating the service charge on the bill.I know it can be removed but it is still annoying. Also, the first time I visited Cote, I was with friends and almost missed this feature.However,it was pointed out to me before I left a further tip. I am sure many other diners make this mistake and double tip.

My 3 guests enjoyed their steaks my own was not good quality. they took off the cost of my starter-half the cost of a steak would be a more realistic

The usual warm welcome, attentive service and very good food. Very reliable with authentic French bistro style. The professionalism of the staff clearly built on strong training.

Cote was excellent as always, food, drink and service. Staff always very friendly as well as professional. Set menu is very good value and always has a fair amount of variety.

The service was excellent: very attentive. However it wasn't busy because there had been so much snow! The choice of food is good; presentation, quantity and cost made it all very good value. Don't like the practice of automatically adding a 12% Service Charge. This is advertised; I am assured that it goes to the staff and is optional. I prefer to make a cash payment, having ascertained that it will certainly go to staff, based on my experience. If Management want automatically to add such a charge 'which goes to the staff', why do they not just pay a fair wage in the first place? [I know: it'll cost more in NI contributions!]

Very friendly service. My husband had a lemon tart for dessert and unfortunately the pastry was soggy. It was dealt with very well when He then told the waitress. The manager came over and apologised and took the cost of the dessert of our bill

We had an excellent time. Great food. Very attentive service. We will deffinitely come back to core brassserie. Waiter from South Africa (can't remember his name) was particularly good. Very knowledgable, friendly and professional.

Delicious meal, lovely helpful staff and beautiful surroundings, Cote Glasgow is a little oasis in the heart of the city. We will definitely be back for more!

Lovely ambiance and great food. We went for early dinner and even at that time of day it was buzzing. Breton chicken with garlic parsley butter was wonderful

We had a great evening at Cote Glasgow celebrating my wife's birthday. The food was great - good hearty french-style cooking. Lamb shank in a veal jus with mustard/tarragon mash really hit the spot on what was a really chilly evening out, as did the belly pork, mussels and fish parmentier. The desserts were classic and well executed (e.g. Creme brulee, chocolate fondants etc). The staff were knowledgeable and were incredibly accommodating of my daughters difficult dietary requirements - nothing was too much trouble - and the service all round was excellent. We'll be coming back!

Very nice place . Food good . 12 and a half % compulsory service charge disappointing . Service charge is surely discretionary and one for the client to decide .

Really good choice of food on the fixed priced menu. The overall quality was good as was the presentation. Service was friendly and prompt. The wine list was decent with reasonable selection of wines available

This is a nice restaurant with lovely attentive staff & great food. I've never had a bad meal here & the pre-theatre is good value for either 2 or 3 courses. The atmosphere is both romantic but with the buzz of a popular eatery. Top marks & special thanks to the hardworking staff.

The food was really nice and tasty . Be careful with the bill. A service charge of 12.5% is automatically added. I would return again.

This is without a doubt one of Glasgow`s best value restaurants -price ,quality and service is not equalled anywhere else at this price. Our `default` restaurant when we are lunching in Town.

Cote fulfilled all our expectations in terms of food, service and ambience. The lunch menu was well balanced, portion size was perfect, and each course was delicious. Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, and the restaurant itself well presented. We will definitely be visiting again and will recommend it to friends.

Lovely lunch with three friends. Good food and a nice relaxed atmosphere with no feeling of being rushed. Always busy, but staff very helpful and attentive.
