Food was good. Was very surprised at the 12.5% service charge. Would put me off going back

Cote never disappoint. It's the reason we keep coming back.

Very pleasant food and staff in good bistro style surroundings and with reasonable prices.

We go to the restaurant in Edinburgh and love it and the Glasgow one is excellent too

Very nice experience. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. The goat cheese flavoured salad starter was excellent. I was somewhat disappointed with the panfried seabass main dish. It came with a little green salad (I cannot eat salads) and nothing else. Surely it could have come with just a little more? The fish portion was on the small side.

Limited drinks choice types of gin only two , limited mixes are you running down the place.

Loved i this our go to restaurant in Glasgow, it never disappoints.

Food was good but I found it very cheap of the restaurant to charge for bread. I have spent a lot of time in France and never once seen a French restaurant where bread is not given for free. I also did not appreciate the tip being included on the bill and the waiter automatically enters the amount with tip into the card machine. My impression was that the restaurant was trying to grab as much money as possible which I see as a negative.

Service was a little slow & ordered two deserts to share & only one came & had to re-order desert. We also asked for bill to come with desert & it did not.

We love this restaurant: the food is always good and service friendly. Last night, however, service was a bit slow: we booked for 7.45 and it was after 8.15 before we had a drink in hand: sidecar cocktails. I think perhaps a lot of people had booked the same deal and they were struggling to keep up with demand. It wouldn't put us off returning but it was a wee bit disappointing.

We have been quite a few times and it is so consistent - the food and the service. The Manageress and her staff always look after us so well.

Atmosphere twinkling, warm and welcoming on arrival. Food delicious. Staff polite and attentive. Very good experience all round.

The food was lovely and the service was ok ... it was ok for a reason. The kitchen porter or waiter came out with the food but was unable to give us our food as it had to be someone else very strange.... and when someone finally came to lift it from his tray to our table he was in such a rush that he basically throw it at us 🤦🏻‍♂️

Disappointed that some food wasn't available eg potato gratin which affected 3 dishes ordered. Also v poor salad provided for a dinner who had allergies.

Excellent food and wine with a wide ranging menu. Breton chicken and fish stew were delicious. Unfortunately, perhaps due to a new chef, the beautiful goats cheese starter which used to be on the menu has been removed. The waiter was rather rude when we asked for tap water to accompany our wine - he told us it was difficult to get into the kitchen to get water. Eventually when he returned with the water, it was slammed down on the table. However we're still returning in a few weeks time and hopefully there will be no repeat of this kind of behaviour. It was quite embarrassing as we had brought two friends with us.

Fabulous family celebration Lunch enjoyed by all seven of us. Two who required gluten free were well catered for and nice approach from staff.

Very enjoyable lunch. Nice background music. Pleasant service, good quality food . Only negative was staff congregating around bar area rather than checking tables also several dishes not available due to busy service on previous day.

Really enjoyed our Dinner experience last night We asked for a specific table and was delighted to find it booked for us. The girl at reception was particularly helpful and managed to extend our time at our table having overrun our time and missed train. Food and ambiance up to the usual high standards , look forward to returning once more .

Good selection for the November Specials, Sidecar cocktail too sweet. Lovely Food with impeccable service, thank you. Price a bit expensive, £70 for two for a starter, a main and a glass of wine each.

What I like about Cote is that the staff are friendly and welcoming from the get go. I recognise faces from years ago which is unusual in restaurants where there seems to be a high turnover. The service is lovely. The food is lovely, the atmosphere is warm & cosy & overall I have had a lovely day . Thank you to all involved x

We had a very relaxed time at Cote today, the breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were as polite, attentive and unobtrusive as you could wish for.

I always look forward to a trip to Cote - the food was delicious, the service was impeccable and it’s fun and relaxed with great wine.

Enjoyed the food, service and surroundings but the music was too loud for a restaurant and therefore everyone had raised voices and chatting was more strained than it needed to be.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and food of a very high quality.

Our visit was enjoyed by all. However, we thought that adding the supposedly ‘optional’ service charge directly to the bill was not right.

I have never had a bad experience at Cote Glasgow in terms of the quality of food or service. Delighted that a French restaurant flourishes in Glasgow. Can I ask once again that you open in Belfast where I now live and where further success, I am sure, is guaranteed.

Food excellent, service was fine tho hardly seen our waiter tho as he was too busy pouring everyone else's wine and not ours. I have no problem tipping because its always good when we go but clearly other people don't as there's a service charge at the bottom of the bill. I believe that tips reflect the service and should not be forced upon the guest.
