Côte Farnham

Fantastic staff but had run out of sea bass although on menu and run out of chosen wine although alternative was good. Had to adjust bill for error.

Very lack lustre food on this occasion. Given the quality of what was in front of us, very expensive. Potatos were par boiled and had a terrible texture.

The location is excellent and the ambience and service great. Food was mostly up to it's fine standard and the goats cheese and artichoke starter a real winner but the grilled plaice main course was just a little disappointing.

Lovely atmosphere and good food. It was very busy so they forgot a few items from our order so had to keep asking! Still enjoyed though

Very good overall. Just would have been useful to be able to try the Rose before purchasing the bottle however the waiter's recommendation was good.

The team here are, without exception, excellent an one of the main reasons we visit regularly. Food is consistent and always enjoyable. Back again soon

Trying to alter my online reservation was difficult. I had to cancel my existing reservation and rebook for a later date but would not accept my birthday code.

Good but usually excellent in the evening. Sunday lunch menu not as good as general lunch. Chicken could have been cooked a bit more and hotter otherwise great. Lovely staff

Smiling faces on arrival; a great ambience created by the French restaurant design; excellent food - the Poulet Grille was delicious; friendly service; and a delightful wine. A great combination.

Slow service at times but food came quickly. Not too bad in terms of pricing, deals and offers available. Was wrongly charged for one item but quickly rectified. Overall good visit and would recommend.

Service was excellent as always but the full English breakfast which was delicious could have been a bit warmer. Mushrooms were nearly cold. Must say though this is unusual so we will be back.

As usual the food was excellent and the service was very efficient with friendly staff. The restaurant was very busy but there were no delays in serving our food.

Enjoyed going to Cote restaurant farnham. The week days set menu is excellent value. On separate occasions, my friends and i ordered the Poulet grille from the main menu, Its a tasty dish but we've found the mushroom sauce is a little too salty. My favourite desert is the creme caramel.

We go to Cote in Farnham fairly often as it maintains a consistently high standard . The starter portions are generous and the wines are better value for money than their competitors .

We were a bit disappointed. It took a very long time for the starters to arrive (0lives and crab mousse with toast). The main courses were also rather flavourless (plaice, and haddock (I think) with lentils) and the haddock was quite dry. The waiter was very nice and friendly though.

As always, a lovely lunch at Cote, Farnham. We were directed to a nice table. The service was prompt and courteous and the food was delicious.

Excellent as usual. Shame my favourite main course had sold out. Friendly courteous service. Altogether a nice lunch to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. Thank you

Menu choice and specials were excellent with early sitting before 7pm discounts. Staff and venue were friendly & attentive without being overly-pushy. Good value for money with a nice meal in relaxing surroundings to enjoy meal out with friends. Highly recommended!

Very good! Had really lovely food and a generally great experience! Will definitely be coming back very soon. We were even given some wine as a complimentary gift for our anniversary!

First time and very good. If I had to pick something, the chips were a tad salty and would have been nice to have a bigger steak option. Will go again.

We enjoyed our meal, but this is the second time that the Fougasse was out of stock, they could have offered garlic bread instead. Other items are a bit expensive

Not as good as previous visits, calamari tough and tasteless, steak also tasteless. Strangely the plaice must be cooked on the same grill as the steaks as it tasted entirely of steak with not a hint of the delicate flavour of fish remaining. Very disappointing for a restaurant that is usually reliable

Great evening out with family. greeted on arrival with a friendly welcome, shown straight to our table. The service was excellent,polite, friendly and efficient. Food was well presented and tasted great.We will be back soon.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. However, the noise level is not comfortable and makes conversation a challenge. This prevents us visiting more often.

Excellent food but too noisy in area we were sitting. Need to book table in quieter area to get the six star experience. Beware the French onion soup unless you are wearing a bib!

Lively atmosphere, with friendly staff. I have complicated dietary requirements and the manager took the time to talk me through options. My friends and I have been holding our get togethers here for a number of years and have no plans to change the venue!

Staff at this restaurant are always very polite & helpful Even thought the restaurant was very busy on our last visit the waiting time for our food was kept to a very acceptable level.

We had very relaxed and enjoyable lunch. The service was very friendly and efficient. There were three of us and we all were pleased with our choices.

Really enjoyed our visit to Cote Brasserie. We were celebrating our engagement, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend it for special occasions.

Food was fine. Service not so good due to waitress brusque attitude. Ordered coffee wasn't asked if I needed sugar good job I don't take it. Wanted the bill but hard to get attention. Asked for service charge to be taken off as a result. Manager then took off an amount as service recovery but was a shame he had to do it. Guildford branch is much better than Farnham . Waitress could do with some customer service training.

Pleasant enough although not enough ready chilled bottles of wine - and not the first time this has happened here. Had to send one of desserts back as was mainly Cyrene Frau he and very little chocolate mousse!

Too little staff although they were very friendly, little experience did not ask if we needed more drinks when offering dessert menus or taking plates away. Used to spend a lot more here but couldn't be bothered to wait.

I am never disappointed with my meal at cotes. This time was no exception. Top marks. Now I can book on line it makes it much easier. Looking forward to my next visit.

Booked table in advance as busy Saturday lunchtime. Steak frites an excellent choice. Excellent wine list. Eat here regularly as best brasserie for miles with consistently great food and service.

I would highly recommend Côte Brasserie to anyone looking to eat in Farnham. The staff are friendly, there's a nice atmosphere, good food and it's reasonably priced. There is also a nice outdoor eating area - but it does get busy when the suns out.

Busy, which was a good sign. The staff were friendly and helpful and our breakfast was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back again.

Great atmosphere , lovely food. Good service however the service charge was a little steep!! We prefer to decide on our own service charge tip, not have it already placed on the bill.

We had a Really nice dinner, the set menu is really good value. Nice atmosphere and good service. We would Recommend the baked cheese and chocolate mousse.
