Côte Farnham

Fab food as always. And good attentive service once we were seated. However we booked for 8pm to allow us two hours to eat. When we arrived we were told the table wasn't quite ready. Would be a couple of mins. We were regularly told it would be a couple of mins until we were finally seated at 8.30pm. Apparently the couple on our table hadn't left yet. As a result our dinner was very rushed and we didn't finish our puddings. Cote shouldn't be taking bookings they cannot fulfil. And they should be ensuring prior tables are cleared in time for the next diners.

Amazing service from beginning to end cannot fault anything! Food was absolutely delicious as were our drinks. Coming to Cote made the current times go away.. back to a lovely evening out.

A really great experience, lovely food and the staff made my Mum's birthday by being so attentive. Thank you team, it is much appreciated and to the Managers and our server Ella who created such a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Great ambiance. Food good, although our original appetiser choice was unavailable. Food service good but drinks service a bit erratic (3 failed attempts at delivering the correct order, followed by the correct wine delivered but not opened or poured). Shame because we’re big fans of the Farnham restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Had an.amazing meal and a lovely time Cotes last night. Staff were very friendly and at no time did you feel at any risk. They had masks on and the seating was well spaced apart. Didn't really notice that having to leave before 10pm was an issue. Good selection on the menu and specials and would definitely recommend going.

Staff lovely as usual; food excellent as usual. It’s such a shame that everyone has to jump thru the silly covid-coping hoops, which meant the usual atmosphere wasn’t quite there, despite the staff working hard to make it so. Not their fault at all.

Great food and service only reason not full 6 stars is that the fig starter was running low so only 3 of 6 of us were able to have it.

I am a regular customer, with my partner, and can find no fault at all at Cote Brasserie. I have been frequenting the Farnham Branch for many years and never been ill (I am a severe Coeliac, plus egg yolk intolerant). Good service, ambience, food - great! Patricia Archer

Loved it! Food came out quickly and was as delicious as ever. Reasonably priced and the staff were great.

Excellent. Had an amazing Haddock followed by an old favourite crepe with Grand marnier ....Brilliant. Service good and friendly as usual.

Credit to the staff and chefs on a wonderful brunch. Absolutely brilliant. We were nervous going during thjs time as so many places have noticeably changed their quality. However the staff were Quick, cheerful, and attentive. The food was surperb with no noticeable difference to pre-covid. I highly recommend a visit.

We always enjoy meals at the Cote. So much so that when it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary we chose the Cote as the venue to celebrate a meal with close friends and family. We were treated to wonderful service and the food was delicious. I can’t recommend them highly enough, especially during the pandemic when we have felt very safe with the careful attention to the new rules and regulations.

We enjoyed a really lovely meal prepared at a standard we had only found in France or Italy before. Both the champagne and the red wine were exceptional. The service was scrupulous and always timely in looking after our needs. In conclusion, in a special day two families, with kids, were delighted and made to feel at home yet in a formal setting: you cannot ask more than this from a restaurant. Thoroughly recommended.

We absolutely love visiting Cote Farnham. The Manager, Russell, warmly welcomes regular and new customers alike, resulting in a client base that feels valued. He remembers names and faces which gives the restaurant a real community feel. The food is exceptional , the ambience bustling with chatter and happy people. The staff are friendly and polite and their adherence to the new safety measures ensures that you feel safe. We have been visiting for years and hope that we can continue to visit for many more. Greeted with friendly service which was forthcoming throughout the evening by multiple staff members. We enjoyed our complementary fig cocktail. The table was clean and a good distance from others allowing us to be relaxed. Within reach of Côte hand sanitizer. Our olives never arrived but not the end of the world. Disappointed there was no steak tartare or duck on the menu but understand a reduced menu is probably being implanted (I really hope they will come back in the future - they are my favourite!). The food we did have was delicious as ever. My partner found his steak was cooked perfectly for him. Despite only having an hour and a half (due to 10pm closing time) we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and didn’t feel rushed. A nice atmosphere during such dark times.

Always good service and food at Farnham. Well spaced and the ladies are always so helpful.

I had a party of six people, Jo and Rusell, The managers really looked after us we are all seniors and worried about corona virus and they made sure we were happy with distancing and a choice of tables inside or out. Our waiters gave us excellent service and we all enjoyed the food and even the merlot wine. We will return.

How service should be : Efficient, professional, not over bearing & great food.

Six of us went to Cote Farnham to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. We were quickly seated and given a complimentary bottle of fizz, which was completely unexpected and a delightful surprise. The servers were polite and helpful, the service was good, the food was excellent and we all enjoyed a great evening. Thank you all!

My friends and I had a lovely lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed a super time. Will see you again soon.

Easy booking system, great menu choice, opted for outside dining seated with distance from other dinners. Food cooked to perfection - not offered rhubarb aperitif as a freebie as per September offer :-( overall happy with experience and service.
