Côte Farnham

A lovely atmosphere, great food and super staff. Its my favourite restaurant for all occasions. Happy to recommend and I'm going again later this week!

It was my husband Allan 70 birthday. He received a complimentary Kir Royale and the song happy birthday was sung to him by very attentive staff which was much appreciated. The food was great as usual especially the new prawn starter. We love eating in Cote Farnham. Happy Christmas to you all!

Cote brasserie in Farnham is a nice place to meet up wit family and friends over a glass of wine and a varied French themed menu..

I am a regular at Cote and was not disappointed - food, atmosphere and service all good. My only gripe is that we were given the main menu and Christmas set menu but not the regular Monday to Friday set menu. I had to ask for it.

Always excellent food at Cote, with a good choice of dishes. Cheerful and helpful staff. The ambience at Farnham Cote very convivial and extremely busy with Christmas diners, but still had very efficient service. A visit to Cote is always a winner.

We have never had a bad meal at Cote Farnham until yesterday.... my mothers food was luke warm and the veg looked like it had been pre-cooked and reheated and had lost its colour... my mother did not like to complain. My main course should have been Breton chicken... it was tasteless and was just a piece of roast chicken which was the same as they serve as Poulet & Frites, but with a rather lumpy smattering of sauce on the top.. definitely not Breton chicken! Unlike my mother I did complain and it was replaced with a satisfactory mushroom rissotto. Their take on bread & butter pudding was mediocre and not up to their normal standard of dessert we have experienced in the past. The management did take my comments seriously and deducted the service charge and a glass of wine from our bill. The restaurant was packed including the upstairs dining area and guess due to it being Christmas they were hard pressed in the kitchen. It was disappointing that the normal 2 course lunch special which is usally £11.95 and always delicious, was increased to £18.95 for two courses for the Christmas period and was well below average.

Great food, good service, nice atmosphere. We had a lovely meal with friends which was neither rushed nor too slow. Our steaks and half chickens were perfectly cooked and we chose 4 vegetable sides to share that were also delicious.

Despite all the extra Christmas busy time, the cheerful staff and good service kept up your reputation. I look forward to my next visit in Farnham.

Great meal - very good selection of menus to choose from and each of us had something different, all served piping hot and very quickly after ordering. Recommended.

Lovely surroundings in the heart of Farnham. Friendly staff and efficient service. Good choice of food. My rib eye steak and creme caramel were delicious

It was very busy but the staff are so helpful and friendly and the food was served up very efficiently and piping hot. Never disappointed with Cote Farnham, a very nice atmosphere to eat in.

Nice quick service; not hugely clean but good enough. Friendly staff were attentive. Food was tasty. Though husband commented he would have liked more toast with his veggie breakfast.

Visually the liver parfait looked like a slice of pink liver sausage but tasted better than it looked! The calamari were over breaded and battered not as good as usual....the mains were better but the green beans were under cooked and stringy. We are only being fussy because the Christmas menu is more expensive and the food does not justify the price? Service was good.

The staff were fantastic despite my friend being a n hour late for our lunch date . Always very efficient and attentive. I would highly recommend a visit

This is the nicest and most vibrant cote I have been to . The food was very good (we were a party of three and all enjoyed our two courses ) The service was efficient polite and timely. - I will definitely use cote Farnham again.

Always enjoy going there. Staff are always pleasant and Russell runs a marvellous restaurant. My favourite place. The service is good and food hot and coffe is really nice.

The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, the choice of menu was very good and as we visited in the festive season there was also the choice of a special set menu, the food was superb and the service impeccable. Will definitely visit again.

As usual a very nice meal with courteous staff though on this occasion they were a little forgetful with wine order. Tart tatin appears to have a new baker, I prefer the previous recipe! We booked for 1.15pm to hopefully have a quieter restaurant and this proved a good move.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food, service was good - not pushy but there when needed. We weren't rushed, it was warm and cosy once we requested to be seated away from the door. A very good overall experience. Couldn't award a 6 down to a couple of very little things; wine bottle and bucket wasn't taken away when finished, space around the table was a little cramped.

Lovely convivial atmosphere with food to suit everyone. Seasonal menu offered but not compulsory. Tables offer possibility for everyone to be comfortable and not overheard.

Great service every time and fab food. We always look forward to visiting Cote and have never been disappointed. Can't recommend highly enough love going back.

The atmosphere was excellent, the food and service were very good. The experience and evening were spoilt however, by being overcharged on the bill for items we did not order

Great food and really excellent, friendly service. Our waitress was that right mixture of attentive, friendly and enthusiastic without being over the top. The steak was beautifully tender and all food arrived promptly. Can’t ask for more.

Warmly welcomed on arrival and received excellent service throughout. We were a little slow choosing from the menu but this wasn't a problem and staff were happy to give us time despite it being a busy Friday night. Once ordered we didn't have to wait long for starters, 3 x crab mayonnaise and 1 x chicken pate. Were given a reasonable time between courses. All our meals were absolutely delicious and plentiful; only one of our party managed to finish his main and no one had room for pud. The restaurant was buzzing but there was an air of calm. Staff all seemed to get on well and were attentive without being intrusive. It was a cold and frosty night outside but the temperature and ambience inside were just right. Thanks for another enjoyable evening. Would recommend.

Great service and food. A nice environment to relax with great company. The restaurant also has a nice wine selection. As well as great desserts.

The best place for breakfast ( Eggs Benedict), lunch (steak frites) and dinner (anything off their menu) in farnham by a mile 😁. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Good class of food. Pleasant atmosphere. Helpful staff. A well judged degree of lighting made a modern commercial building nicely intimate. Food well presented and served. A good place to enjoy French bistro food in England.

Excellent breakfast and as usual gluten free options well catered for. Staff always helpful and having food served on really hot plates is a plus in my opinion.

The service was, as always, attentive and the two main courses, which we ordered from the "Specials" section of the menu were of exceptionally high quality.

Good food and service today although a little slow as it was a very busy day leading up to Christmas, lots of ladies lunching. Coffee wasn’t the usual standard, tasted more like hot milk than a cappuccino. Overall though a good experience.

As always a lovely meal with excellent service. Good choice of food and drinks with a good atmosphere. We shall be back again in the very near future.

Went for breakfast for a friend's 60th b-day. We were so well looked after, the food was delicious and the service excellent. The whole experience made our friend's day. Thank you.

This place never fails to delight. The food is always excellent as is the service. I was out with 2 friends we all loved our meal and had a great time.

This visit wasn't quite as good as before. One of the servings of chicken was rather dry and the steak was a little overdone. Disappointing, as we have always enjoyed it previously, The service though was good.

Restaurant setting lovely - particularly at Christmas. Staff attentive and welcoming. Food excellent as usual -fixed price menu continues to offer good choice and quality.

Very busy but great service. Would definitely recommend, one of the best cote restaurants in the area. Don't like fixed service charge being added leaves noe scope for rewarding good service

Had lunch here on Tuesday lunchtime. Wasn’t going to book as thought should be ok for a mid-week lunch, but something made me think to book ahead. Glad I did as was very busy! This made for good atmosphere though. Friendly and attentive service and food was delicious.

Always a lovely experience dining at the Cote Brasserie (in this case Farnham). Food wonderful and service perfect as ever. We will be back soon!

Went for a girls christmas lunch. Waiting staff were very efficient & friendly. There was something for everyone on the menu. Food was presented & cooked well. Will visit again.

Nice table in side area but not neglected by serving staff. Good acoustics, often restaurants are so noisy you can't hear each other even across a table. Food as you would expect - a very reliable venue.

Excellent staff , service and food , absolutely no complaints and can't wait to return , staff were friendly , knowledgeable and professional , well done guys .
