Côte Farnham

Lovely meal, only slight negative was staff extremely busy and toilets needed a bit more attention. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening , definitely would go back!

Good reliable restaurant and they change their menu reasonably regularly with Specials as well. Can be a bit noisy at weekends sometimes as popular with families with small kids but no big deal. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Plenty of choice of food options. Have been there a few times on a Saturday lunchtime and never had a bad meal.

The service initially was a little slow in regard to being offered a drink. I was extremely disappointed that the Prestige fixed menu now ends at 7:00pm on a Friday, so we had to order from the a la carte menu. It was also very noisy and difficult to talk, which was really the whole reason for my friend & I going out for the evening.

Good atmosphere, great food and enjoyed the gin and tonic very much. We use the brasserie often and we know that we will have an enjoyable evening.

We enjoyed the enhanced lunch menu. Could have chosen most dishes on offer, they all appealed! Just one criticism from one of our party was that the vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce was a little stingy - one small scoop.

Food was good but the service as we arrived was poor. We had to chase a waiter for attention. We asked for tap water which arrived but no glasses, so we had to chase again.

This is a lovely relaxed and friendly bistro which serves really good food which is never lukewarm. The menu is not just the standard selection of dishes - Rabbit Parmentier and golden beetroot salad was delicious. The table next to us had a vegetarian who wanted to 'mix and match' parts of a couple of dishes which was accommodated with no problem.

As usual cote farnham lived up to expectations. Well looked after by the staff a very enjoyable evening with my family very highly recommended by us all

I am a visitor in the area and never miss Cote. Always look forward to the next time. Excellent service and delicious food, Highly recommendable.

We went to Cote Farnham having been gifted voucher for a birthday. The restaurant was not full but we found the noise level very high but it quietened down as early diners left. Both my wife and I chose the sirloin steaks, both were very average, at least 20% gristle, served with fries and watercress garnish, carrots and sauce at extra cost. the desserts and wine were fine. With the "discretionary" service charge of 12.5% the total bill was over £90, we didn't feel that Cote was value for money. Lastly, the banquette seating is very deep which means that you have no back support and end your "relaxing evening" with an aching back. I don't see us hurrying back to Cote Farnham.

Consistently great quality, our go-to for breakfast and brunch of a weekend. Rarely do we have a problem with service or food, but when we do it due to volume of customers

Excellent food and attentive staff. A great time was had by all. The menu caters for all tastes and appetites with all in our party having a great meal.

Excellent service without any pressurizing or rushing. Food excellent as usual. The 'theatre menu' is also excellent value as well as making reasonable provision for non-meat eaters.

Great personalities, a little forgetful on additional requests such as parmesan, cold frites but everything else great. Location ideal for lunch and good choice from the menu

The restaurant and staff are really excellent and the food is very good. The only issue is that we booked a ‘special offer’ which was confirmed in the booking email but the restaurant was not aware of what it was saying ‘there are lots of special offers and we never know what they are’. This lack of communication needs to be sorted out.

The set meal deal is fantastic. Excellent fresh food, great choices and impeccably polite friendly staff. Cote is totally reliable in every way. I would recommend it to absolutely everyone. When booking I had clicked the offer of a complimentary aperitif. I had not given it any further thought but they were delivered to us immediately we both sat down. They were absolutely delicious. I got to drink both as my friend was driving. What service!

Food always consistently good but my main criticism is that they pack too may people in to this restaurant. At times it is so noisy from other tables its impossible to hold a conversation. Please remove some tables, ease the congestion, and improve the experience.

Lovely restaurant in a pretty location in this interesting town. There were great choices on the menu and friendly, helpful staff. Quality of food was excellent.

My friends and I had a l.ovely time at Cotes. I decided on the Belly of Pork, and after a while of eating this, I thought, I know what this could do with to make it even more tasty than it was, was a little honey poured over the skin of the pork. I asked the waitress if she could get me some honey from the kitchen. She appeared with a lttle bowl of honey which I proceeded to pour over the pork. It made ut absolutely delicious and my friend commented that she has never seen me finish a meal ever, as I cleaned the plate. So for us, we all commented how nice it was, it was the second time we had been there. My friend said it was better than the Cotes in her area

Overall not bad , lovely waitress very polite and smiley ! Vegetarian breakfast not up to standard though 😟 Other food of average standard but nice place to have breakfast

Four of us went to Cote in Farnham today for lunch. The food was lovely. It was a Monday but still quite busy. I would definitely go here again.

The food was good but unfortunately low ceilings and busy so had to almost scream to be heard above the noise. Staff excellent as always.

Disappointing. 2 steaks had to be returned as they were rare (and one was pretty tough), it was very noisy and we felt it was very expensive and not good value. Shame.

We always go to Cote in Farnham love the food and the people Russell the manager has a good lot of staff with him and customers are always going back and the staff recognise the regulars always happy yo help

Overall a good experience. Suggest that the Moules Marinières are served with a small amount of bread to take advantage of the liquor. As, lamb was on the menu I would have expected to have mint sauce available. Hope this helps.

Excellent as always. Although my wife’s risotto was quite stodgy. The service was up to its usual standard with the staff very attentive. Will be going again.

The food was delicious and service brilliant. We very much enjoyed our evening at Cote in Farnham and will definitely be going back again soon

Cote is one of those restaurants that we use when you want to guarantee everybody will have a wide choice from a comprehensive menu and whatever choice they make will be well presented and cooked. They are not the cheapest place to eat but as we all know you usually get the quality you pay for.

We eat at Cotes in Farnham regularly and we we have never had any complaints. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The portions are just about enough , any less would be sparse. It's a gem.

Excellent food and service, though the noise level from other customers is a little too much, probably unavoidable with low ceilings. At least there was no piped music!! On the whole a nice lunchtime experience.

Average service - large party of us pre booked so a big spend - food was fine but staff had no real interest in us

I booked a table for breakfast for 4, when we arrived there was a lovely table in the window, we asked if we could have the table and were promptly told no as it was set for 5, however in the time we were there no one sat at the table, how nice it would have been if the member of staff had said yes of course that’s no problem.The table was far to small for four as with the breakfast there were so many additional plates, 3 pots of tea plus cups plus plates for toast and then the breakfast plates.I have been to Cote lots of times always for the evening, this was our first time for breakfast, it was delicious thoroughly recommend, just a chance about were we were seated.

Same as usual good service and excellent food. Enjoyed the complimentary St Germaine drink, but really preferred the complimentary drink on offer during thr month of July. Looking forward to the September offering.

The service is always great and the food well presented and more innovative than most chains. The set menus are good value and this is represented by the fact that on the many occasions I have visited the Farnham branch, at different times of the day, it is always busy and often full.

Always enjoy a visit to Cote in Farnham. It is consistently good. There are always plenty of people in the restaurant which is a good sign.

Cote is my favourite restaurant in Farnham great food great service never disappoints. Have tried other restaurants but always go back to Côte. Staff are great especially Joanna the manager

Food excellent as usual but had to send back my gin and tonic as the tonic was flat. It was changed immediately with no issue. Staff are always great and Cote is one of our favourite restaurants

Unfortunately on this visit, the cooked breakfast was served cold, so it had to re-cooked. Drinks and service were fine for our breakfast visit - rather a lot of wasps.

I’m normally really happy with Cote and absolutely love the tuna Niçoise salad but yesterday it was just not up to scratch. Mean amount of tuna a couple of tiny crumbs of potato and 2 green beans. If they didn’t have enough ingredients to make it properly I wish they had just said so. Shame as usually so good.

Lovely gin cocktails! Delicious food well presented as usual. Only problem was eating outside the flies were an absolute nightmare.....think they should find out why and deal with them.

Service and food always good. Bit warm inside restaurant last night but what else can expect in this weather. Can be noisey due to amount of people chatting but gives good atmosphere. Good value menu.

Good and friendly service. Helpful on finding a table outside. Menu varied of good value and service was brisk but unobtrusive. Nice outside seating area in the warm weathers.

Went with friends had a lovely meal, food was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Waitress was so good, very friendly and helpful. Have had many meals there, never had a bad one.

Service was very good , not over the top , very polite - in fact perfect! Food was good but not brilliant but better than previously experienced . Overall experience was good and ambiance was nice , and nice and busy considering it was a Monday !! Well done it’s been worked at but staff cared and it showed !!

Cote at Farnham is set in a beautiful yard, the Lion and Lamb. The food was fabulous as always, great surroundings and friendly, helpful staff. As with all Cotes, it’s a faultless place to go, either in a group or as a couple.

This is such a great restaurant. We really love coming here. Great food, great service and wonderful ambience. Breakfast is a must on the outside terrace.

Good service even though the restaurant was very busy on Sunday evening. Very good food, particularly the lamb rump. The fougasse starter was slightly over cooked.

Great food and excellent staff. This time the wasps outside spoiled it a bit, need to kill the nest or you have to eat inside.
