Côte Farnham

On this visit not impressed waitress service very good, food not up to standard. Watercress should of never been plated steak left under hot plate dried out no juices which effect the flavour. The starter cold burnt prioche with pate.

Delicious food and very helpful staff. Booked a large table for my 80th birthday in December. Looking forward to that celebration. Just need to select which menu now.

The food was delicious and at a very reasonable price for the quality. The staff were cheerful and very helpful and I cannot recommend Cote in Farnham highly enough.

EXTREMELY GOOD service excellent, food good No doubt will visit again. This is one of the best Cotes I have seen . The setting is great and always busy' A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the service was very good. Disappointingly not everything on the menu was available including our favourite dish however the food was very nice

We had an excellent meal from the very reasonable lunchtime offer of 2 courses for £11 ish. We actually stick to our favourites - 'steak & frites' (£2 extra) and 'creme caramel', both of which were superb! Attention was good and very pleasant. We plan to return for our next lunchtime meeting in December.

Great atmosphere, good menu choice and efficient and friendly staff. The booking system was easy to use and the welcome at reception was efficient and friendly. I especially liked the half chicken as my main course.

We love Cotes in Farnham, the food is excellent, always fresh and hot. The staff are very friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. Throughly recommend.

Good food, sketchy service today. We had to wait an age for our order to be taken and then mains appeared before we had finished our shared starters. Back to waiting before we could order dessert.

Delicious meal, efficient customer service. Enjoyed the half chargrilled chicken with fries and green beans. Lovely starter of baked goats cheese and apple salad too.

Nice rib-eye steak though slightly undercooked for medium rare though still delicious. Roquefort butter was served too cold - straight from fridge. Hazelnut filling, chocolate sauce, crème Chantilly and caramelised bananas in Praline Crêpe all good but crêpe itself was slightly rubbery and not freshly made! All in all not too bad but could do better!

Wonderful at Côte’s, as ever. Efficient and friendly service, lovely ambience and consistently excellent food! We are practically residents and will be back shortly, for more!

Excellent evening from start to finish, lovely welcome at the door, delicious food and great service. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion, as nothing is too much for the staff.

We got tucked away upstairs which had poor atmosphere and was very close to the kitchen exit, putting us in the food thoroughfare. Food was ok

Lovely evening with great food. The early evening menu offers a really good selection and is very good value. The house rose wine is exceptional!

Very disappointed with my main course of vension cottage pie with cabbage. The pie contained two large bay leaves and the cabbage was tasteless. Worst main meal I've had at Cote.

We normally very much enjoy eating at this restaurant however on this occasion the food was not served as ordered which somewhat spoilt the meal.

Absolutely first class food and service every time and in every branch. Lovely setting at Farnham, modern at Chichester and Horsham. Thoroughly recommend Cote our favourite restaurant!

Certainly one of the better Côte restaurants I’ve visited and in a nice setting. The service was excellent and only one small error on the bill was quickly corrected when I highlighted it.

As always everything was lovley but my review just missed the 6 level as, although not over=busy, the service was rather slow. Nevertheless a good time was had by all .

We are all regular visitors to Cote, and it has never let us down, the food ,service, and ambience are always great. The crab starter is sublime, bought back i understand by popular demand. Barry Smith

We enjoyed a lovely lunch. Cote is a reliable choice and we regularly meet up for reunion lunches. Service always prompt and food is reliably very good.

Had a great time celebrating my Dads 91st birthday with family. We were welcomed as old friends, food excellent and good attentive service. We brought a birthday cake which was delivered at the end of the meal by serving staff with a song, nice touch. Special thanks to our waitress Phoebe.

Brunch was really good and excellent value. Always good service and great food. I booked on line and requested my favourite table and got it.

Lovely food but it was busy and service wasn’t as good as usual. We couldn’t believe they added 75p to the already large bill for a dollop of tartare sauce!

We enjoyed our wedding anniversary at Cote on Thursday. The food was really good and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was packed out.

Cote is one of the best restaurants around and the prix fixed menus are such good value. The food on this visit was to the usual high standard. Service a tad slippy in that we didn’t receive the olives ordered for my friend at the same time as my starter as we requested - had to remind to get them. And when we wanted to pay our bill, attracting attention was a struggle. But I gather there have been staff changes, so maybe that affected things. The staff tend to be very friendly and helpful, which we appreciate.

We had a lovely evening as usual, food and service was faultless. Staff were very welcoming and charming and efficient. The October menu had lots of variation and was very good value. Excellent once again.

As with all Cote restaurants, the staff in Farnham were well trained and very personable. The food and wine were very well priced, extremely tasty and served very efficiently. We were very surprised at how busy the restaurant was on a Tuesday night.

Staffs are polite, restaurant in farnham has good atmosphere. We went at lunch time on 15th October. The mushroom soup starter we both had were not hot enough just warm.

Good food and menu. Friendly and hard working staff but upstairs needs some sound deadening on the walls as it get very noisey when full.

The quality of food appears to have gone down. Service attentiveness has also gone down. Rather noisy and rather slow in serving food at evening times.

Great location and good food. The staff were friendly but not very proactive. We were constantly left without drinks and trying to attract their attention to gain service.

Return visit 3 days after our last one, this time with 4 friends. The quality of the food and service was as good as before. Cote do what they do and they do it well. We had a fantastic waitress who really went the extra mile to keep us supplied with water and wine, and always with a smile. We have never been able to fault any of the Cote’s we have been to. Long may that continue.

The restaurant produced an attractive new menu and provided us with the usual attentive service, to which we have now become accustomed generally at Cote.

Usual excellent service, great food and an all round yummy experience. The staff are always friendly,although it was busy the food was delivered promptly and piping hot.
