Our visit on a Friday was not our usual choice. Our friends could only make this night. The starters were not hot and considering they were fish 2 were sent back. The main course was better with 2 steaks and a chcken OK- no problem, but 2 fish mains were again not warm enough and consequently only half eaten before too cold. Not good. We felt it was not good overall and it was obviously pressure on the staff as the service was slow. This is a disappointment as we have had good meals there.

It was my birthday I absolutely love the minute steak with garlic butter which I ordered . my husband felt his potion of the fish pie was rather small but everything else about our evening was great .

I recently went back to a restaurant where they'd installed baffles to get rid of the appalling noise levels. You should give it a try. I probably will not go here again unless you can do somethiing to make civilised conversation possible

Another group lunch, another Cote. Amazing value for money, food is great as is the atmosphere. Staff are always lovely and professional. Winner.

Everything is good about the restaurant except for the noise level probably due to low ceilings. How you fix this I do not know but worth looking into. We sat outside and wonderful.........

This is our first visit for some time when everything we ordered came up correctly. In recent visits we have had too raw steaks, sides were forgotten and sweets were wrong. Very noisy with so many women trying to outdo each other. Got better around 9.30pm when the early diners left. Prices have also leapt by 10% for no reason. Wont be coming quite so often but still pretty good by most standards.

Good value and usually good quality. Today there was no black pudding, the bacon was rather fatty and the scrambled eggs although quite soft were more like a whisked omelette than scrambled. It all tastes good but the usual quality was a bit wanting.

I eat in Cote restaurants a lot so think I know what to expect and this was a poor experience. The food was under cooked to the order / mixed up and the way the team handled it was not at all great. Then we were presented with the full price bill. I asked for something to be done, which the manager applied a small reduction but the overall experience was ruined. The staff were also not very understanding or attentive of our situation plus (staff) started acting childish running around the restaurant screaming and shouting at the end of the night. Overall not what I expected of Cote on this occasion.

We both had the formulae breakfast! It was delicious and all drinks included. Will definitely return 👍🏻

Another great breakfast at Cote Farnham. We had requested a quiet table and got one as although the atmosphere is great it can be a little bit noisy

Usual excellent service and good food. My minute steak came not as hot as usual and when I informed the Manager it was quickly replaced without any fuss.

Best ever ever french onion soup...fabulous! We were on a two hour car parking charge...I know not your fault... Went for bill time running out paid no probs. Would have liked break down of bill, rather than a receipt of payment

Convenient location in an historic town, Farnham cote is a great restaurant for a coffee in the early spring sunshine or go for a meal. French influenced food cooked fresh with only a short wait . Service is courteous and prompt? Well done cote.

Enjoyed a birthday lunch with two glasses of complimentary Prosecco. Cod with ratatouille was delicious. Lemon tart had a soggy base so they took that off the bill. Service was friendly.

Really enjoyed our visit. Especially because we were able to sit at a table which was not noisy. I know that other areas of the restaurant are very noisy in Farnham but the one 'round the corner' by the window was great.

Great breakfast as always - piping hot - lashings of tea and toast with marmalade. Yum!

My husband and I are fairly regular visitors to our local 'Cote'. The noise levels are fine but anyone suffering deafness might struggle. I've not given the food the top rating merely because my minute steak was not as good as my husband's and because I'm highly allergic to olive oil no salad dressing was available for my starter. I was given balsamic vinegar but that isn't french dressing! However, all in all a delightful visit on the occasion of my birthday.

Had been away for the weekend and were on our way home and just wanted a quick something to eat had steak and frites and were in and out in just over 30 minutes whh was just what we wrre lookung for
