Côte Farnham

We booked well in advance but were seated by a window next to the kitchen entrance. I felt the cold air on my back from the window throughout the meal.

We always love our breakfast at Cote and think the foremlae is good value for money

I had booked via the link online for the Christmas menu and on arrival told the food should have been pre booked online so not available!! Disappointed as it was a Work Christmas lunch!! Food was good but service very poor. Items missing, wrong things ordered. Very slow, hard to get anyone’s attention. Asked for water twice didn’t receive it. Not at all the experience we were expecting especially due to the fact we have be coming for years.

Wonderful food, service, atmosphere - a perfect evening! I am stunned every single time how they manage to serve high quality food at reasonable prices. The November Sidecar Cocktail is exceptional!

We visit here regularly and been rarely disappointed Onthis occasion it was very busy but ususallevels of service maintained.

An absolute lovely evening, great food and wine, great service only let down by the port not arriving with the cheese! Would have been full marks otherwise.

Manager great as always. Very kind and helpful. Good service to start then we were left sitting after finishing our mains. Seemed to be a lot of staff around, but maybe not keeping an eye on what was actually going on. Although all very pleasant. Not sure if I approve of the service charge automatically being added to the bill as I feel this should be according to the service on the day and rather awkward to ask for it to be amended, which is probably why Cote do it in the first place!

Wonderful, great service, and great food, we all thoroughly enjoyed.

We enjoyed our meal but my own beefburger was very much overcooked when I had ordered medium rare, so rather dry and disappointing.

Service was terrible..waiter had no idea of timings and what he was doing and my husband meal was not great.

Food was nice but I had asked for a quiet spot so being put right next to the kitchen door and having glasses and bottles crashing into the bin all evening was not great. The tiny table against a wall panel was also very uncomfortable too. Not an enjoyable visit and your “optional” gratuity is just a bit cheeky really.

Lunchtime A party of four ordered our food the starters arrived which were lovely but things turned disappointing after that, first because there seemed a longer wait than normal but we were not really concerned as we chatted then three of the four mains arrived the forth arrived after a delay one of the Butternut Squash dishes was cold and was returned to waitress who announced she would get a new one then there was another wait which was I guess understandable if anew meal was being prepared three of the meals were eaten when the fourth dish which had been returned when this Butternut dish was produced it was clearly the same dish reheated as clearly could be seen where a portion had been previously taken. Three of us sat and watched this meal being eaten. We did stay for desserts as this was a get together for friends of 50 years but we nearly left. It doesn’t help when some staff stood chatting for a while which we felt was the reason our order may have been dealt with out of order or forgotten as I was aware of a table receiving their meal before ours. Sadly disappointing. On a good point the manageress who was very polite did apologise and made a reduction on our bill.

Great food at great prices. A very friendly atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. We took our daughter for a meal for her 18th and as vegetarian she was more than impressed with the menu and has already booked in a return Service was docked 2 stars as we had to wait longer than expected for our mains. Waitress did bring us a complimentary drink and apologised

I booked a table for 5 for my husband's 60th birthday and wrote it on the booking. What we got was a table placed at the far end of freezing cold room with no heating except a tiny blow heater at the other end of the room, tardy service with hardly any finesse and absolutely no recognition of my husband's celebration. Extremely poor. I enjoyed my food but my husband did not. It's a pity when a restaurant is so hit and miss.

Although it was very busy, we had excellent service and the food was to its usual high standard.

As always a very pleasant occasion and meal. My wife had had a minor surgical procedure this morning and our visit cheered her up.as always!

This is one of our favourite restaurants. We eat here a lot and have never been disappointed. Excellent food, service and ambience. Perfect.

Lovely meal. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Music could do with being a little lower (it wasn't loud but for anyone with hearing difficulties it makes it hard to hear).

We like Cote very much whether it is for coffee, breakfast or dinner. In fact it is the only restaurant we go to in Farnham!

Super tasty food and great service. Very swift with the food and chilled environment.

The only problem was they my partners onion soup was ‘extremely ‘ hot and had boiled over the edge of the bowl It took a long time to be at a safe temp to drink! But apart from that everything was perfect

Despite being busy the staff very polite and very efficient, the wines on offer very excellent and as usual the food was very nicely presented and very tasty. I would not hesitate in recommending Cote for a meal out at any time.

The chicken on the early evening menu was lovely. Good food and service but the best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere.

Lovely meal, our sea bream roasted with fennel was amazing. Lived the side car apperatif too!

Again I chose Côte for a meal, this time lunch. The menu was varied and difficult to pick from because all courses on offer were tempting. As usual, the service was excellent. Lovely atmosphere. Glad I booked as the place was so busy.
