Great food and service as we have come to expect from Cote.

very pleasant meal pre-celebrating my friends' wedding anniversary. Good food and excellent service.

The food was well cookedand tasty with good portion size. The Lamb rillette doesn't work as well as other meats as it doesn't spread, but scatters in bits and has to eaten with fingers. It tasted OK but is messy. As always, coffee excellent although I like coffee cups better than glasses.

Usually really rate Cote for some good food, but in this occasion it really lacked. Food felt and tasted like it was really churned out... Also that evening I appreciate you were having staffing problems but it wasn't great that we could hear staff telling other staff members off... I think it entirely depends on the location you visit and the day to whether you have a good meal now, so unfortunately I won't be returning to the Farnham one as we left feeling a bit disappointed.

Excellent again and met someone new too, so food, environment and service excellent.

We enjoyed our evening very much, all the staff were very efficient and friendly. The food and drink was also of a high standard. I have been let down only once at Cote over the past 10 years and I find it amazing how the standards are maintained. Thank you.

A lovely Valentine's experience, food, service and value for money were excellent. Maybe a few table decorations and a balloon or two at the top of the stairs would have enhanced the ambience on this special occasion?

Generally all our visits to Cote, in any part of the UK , have been consistently good, with Farnham being our favourite. However, I would like to bring to your attention a couple of issues from our recent visits. We visited Farnham on Saturday at 5.00pm, it was relatively quiet with only a hand full of occupied tables and plenty of available staff, all good. However, we have had to send back our French Onion Soup because it was not hot enough, in spite of specifically requesting it to be served hot. Disssapointingly, we have experienced this issue on a number of recent visits (twice in Farnham and once in Guildford), clearly our requests are not being communicated to the kitchen. The cost of the soup was taken off the bill, but I would of happily paid for hot soup. On another issue, at Farnham on Saturday I observed a certain lack of tidiness and general awareness of presentation. There was food on the seating and very shabby table positioning (I can send a photo if need be), all this whilst staff were hovering around with little to do. I did point this out to one of the staff members and was duly noted. Please can you communicate this to all your teams as I fear standard are beginning to drop, thanks Regards Kevin Baker

Great lunch & service despite it being very busy, the staff were helpful and attentive

we waited some 15 mins before having our orders taken - then approx 40 mins before being told that there had been an issue with the gas which meant our meal would be delayed FURTHER. then after 90 mins - still no main course! All that time, no offer of some bread or something to show that the Customer was valued. After all that the 'optional 12.5% gratuity was still on the bill!

Consistently good quality food and service with value for money.

We had a birthday celebration brunch for 7 people today, the food and service were excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Veggie breakfast was nice apart from the following: Not very hot Sausage has shrunk Extra coffee ordered never arrived.

Given a lovely table in the corner of the conservatory area - great, as we had our toddler, baby & elderly mother in law with us. Service was speedy (despite being busy) & we had a very enjoyable lunch.

All aspects of our visit were good. We’re dining at the Basingstoke CB tomorrow evening for a belated Valentine dinner, so if it all matches today’s breakfast , we’ll be a very happy couple. 👍👍😋😋😋😋

Lovely Valentine’s Day menu and the wine pairing was an excellent idea! The only improvement I would suggest was that the server should have asked if we wanted to do the wine pairing upfront, so they could bring us the Kir Royal while we were choosing our food. Instead we were trying to drink both the Kir Royal and the first glass of wine during our starter and it was a bit of a rush! I noticed that the couple next to us didn’t even finish their Kir Royales.

A good Meal ,with great service . Steaks needed a bit more resting . But it was valentines Day so we appreciate it was at full capacity all evening . Nice to see you now serve Malbec .

It was my first experience of this restaurant and I have to say, I wasn’t bowled over. The staff were not very engaging and we were left stood in the doorway for approximately 10 minutes on our arrival despite there being tables available. The other thing, the chips that came with my meal were cheap and nasty. Overcooked, crunchy and oily. The rest was okay but it didn’t wow me.

Service, atmosphere, location great - food was pretty good too

Cote Brasserie breakfasts are always excellent: unsurpassed anywhere in our opinion. Reasonably priced and carefully cooked, a Cote breakfast is our No 1 treat or guilty pleasure.

Lovely catch up with friends. In a warm atmosphere. Friendly smiling waitress. Food delicious and piping hot Food Would highly recommend . Looking forward to our next catch up in eight weeks.

As normal we had the formulae breakfast which we think is vey good value. the restaurant is normally busy but was extra busy which is good to see

Food at Cote is always very good and very consistent although the service has really gone downhill. You seem to wait ages for your order to be taken only to get someone else come up 5 minutes after to ask to take it again!! Once the restaurant starts to get busy is when the service is really lacking you cannot make eye contact with any server so trying to get a drink is some what a mission. Also always have to double check the bill as although you get complimentary cocktails via email they always forget to take them off the bill ...I'm guessing anyone who doesn't check pays for them so the company gets there money ..clever.

We all enjoyed an excellent &well presented lunch. The restaurant was very busy, but service was good The only slight disappointment was that I had explained when booking that the lunch was to celebrate my friend’s birthday Previously on such an occasion, that has been acknowledged However it did not spoil our experience & as it was so busy, it was understandable

We were a group of twenty diners and many of them had never visited Côte in Farnham before. Everyone enjoyed their meal and were very complimentary about the food, the service and the general atmosphere. We were a party of 26 Swiss Club members. The feedback from them on the day and since by email has been very good; food and service excellent, venue too. The only minor point was that the celeriac mash with the pork was too light on celeriac otherwise everything else was very good. You dealt with bill payment by our Members extremely smoothly – thank you for your flexibility. The mark of our satisfaction is that we will definitely come again, if you'll have us. The food was fantastic as ever. However we had booked an easily accessible table for a member of our party with serious mobility issues. Despite there being 4 such tables available, we were told we could not have one of them as 2 tables were booked before us! No effort was given to seat us at one of the other 2 available tables. Our booking clearly requested a table near the door. This was very disappointing and not what we have been used to at this Cote.

I booked for a special brunch with a dear friend. The breakfast delicious. Sadly the toast had mould on it. It took a long time to try and alert a member of staff (they were drinking a coffee) and also a long time to ask for the bill. The manager handled the mould situation well but it shouldn’t happen and then I received the toast when I’d almost finished my breakfast.

All 5 of us had a wonderful time, especially Granny whose birthday we were celebrating. Food was well up to the standard we expect at Cotes, beautifully presented and served with a smile.
