Côte Farnham

Our table was booked for 1:15 pm, but due to the roadworks at the Shepherd & Flock roundabout it took us 1 hour 45 minutes to travel the distance from Aldershot to Farnham. We were in constant communication with the restaurant and were warmly greeted at 2:25 pm with a free drink for the three of us before the meal was served. Regrettably, my lamb chops were served rare as opposed to my request for medium rare otherwise it would have been a 6 star rating.

The service and the food at the Farnham cote was excellent, we were greeted like old friends and it was an absolute pleasure to visit again! Thanks to Russell and all he team for taking care of us impeccably as always, one of our very favourite restaurants!

Lovely to feel 'normal' again and meet my daughter for dinner. The atmosphere was happy and friendly and staff gave cheerful and excellent service with tempting food and wine. All good.

Nice to be back eating proper food again in a splendid restaurant

We had a mixed experience which could have been disastrous if Simon had not handled it so well. All our fillet steaks were over cooked and mine was burnt. He managed the situation quickly without any fuss and replaced my meal with an alternative choice quickly and politely. He apologised and removed my meal from the bill. He is new to the post of supervisor and showed a maturity beyond his years. Well done, based on his actions we will return to Cote.

Only 3stars as we had usual lovely meal but my concern was social distancing...there was barely a metre between the tables and apart from the staff wearing face shields there was no difference..and I’m afraid to say we will not be visiting for the time being but doing your lovely home ordering...

Amazing customer service, divine food and excellent wine, we enjoyed the most fabulous evening and the staff could not have been more professional and more helpful, they are exceptional and made the evening very special for us, thank you so much.

So glad that Côte has opened again. The best restaurant in Farnham. Food, service and atmosphere fantastic as usual. Can’t wait to go back.

It was wonderful to be back and the whole experience was happy, friendly and helpful as usual. Good food, although it will be better when the larger range of food is back, in the circumstances it was excellent. We felt quite safe.

So pleased to see you open again. We have been coming here for 8 years, one of our favourite places to eat in Farnham. Welcoming, comfortable, quick, we can’t fault it. Food was delicious, we had baked crottin, calamari, fish parmentier, steak And creme caramel. Really nice evening. Great to see some friendly faces again.

Food delicious as always but what stood out was the fantastic service at Farnham. So friendly and a perfect level of attention. They were exceptionally kind to my son bending over backwards to please him when his steak wasn't to his 12 year old taste. A great experience. Staff made it a lovely evening.

Lovely to be back, grateful and happy to see Russell, Joanna and the other lovely staff who made us so welcome, a very warm experience, shame about no hugs cos there would have been lots. Our waitress Ella was a delight and the tall waiter with the swept back hair above his face shield too😊! Dinner was lovely, and the place didn’t look any different apart from a gentle bit of table spacing. All good!

Love eating out here it’s a great atmosphere, lovely staff and superb food. The only negative and I’m being very picky here! Is that they didn’t have glasses available to make us 2 espresso martini’s so we had to go without. Overall though a lovely experience . 👏🏻

My first visit since the start of the lockdown in March and the reopening on Wednesday. As a regular the warm welcome I received from Joanna and her team was very much appreciated and as usual the food and service were excellent. I shall definitely be visiting on a regular basis once again

Delighted that Cote Farnham has now reopened. We very much enjoyed returning to our local favourite and were impressed by how the staff have positively responded to dealing with Coronavirus issues. We had a table in our favourite spot by the French doors looking out onto the patio but were a little disappointed that our favourite starter has been dropped from the new menu and that the sea bream had 'sold out'. Hence the four stars. However, the substitutes we chose were enjoyable, especially the Fish Parmentier. Excellent, friendly service and plenty of space, owing to the new rules, made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Great to share in the Cote ambience once again, and reassuring to discover that standards are as high as ever. Now just the breakfasts to reinstate!

Gazpacho much too spicy. Sea bream not cooked. Staff very good at replacing the fish. All salt and peppers need to be wiped when sanitising tables.

The Farnham branch have just re-opened after an extended period of closure. They have done an excellent job in preparing for this. The restaurant felt safe and well-organised. Tables are well spaced out, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Great to be back. Good to staff wearing appropriate PPE. First day of opening and staff were brilliant as usual. Very good teamwork and looked like they were loving being there. Food excellent. Good atmosphere. Can't fault it.
