Service was poor.One main course had to be returned. Coffees wer only lukewarm Long wait for each course and drinks

Came a little early but was seated straight away by a lovely gentleman. Excellent food and lovely staff who nothing was too much trouble for.

Honestly one of the best meals out in a long time - we booked at short notice and the service, food and venue were all absolutely perfect. The lobster was possibly the best I’ve ever had!

Arrived and taken to a lovely table downstairs with lots of light. My sister has allergies and phoned and informed staff - they were waiting with Special Menu for her. Services very good and great recommendations. Food very tasty and great Wine too. Not felt hurried and stayed until we were ready to go. Will defiantly come back again.

Service was excellent and quick, particularly bearing in mind we had two young children with us. Only strange thing was up to 5 staff were occupying the table next to us while on their break/before shift I assume. I assume this was a COVID related issue (ie. small staff room) and the noise created was not intrusive but there was a lot of coming and going, especially as this was directly outside the kitchen. Did not significantly spoil the experience.

Too hurried... for example, our starter was brought to the table before we were even served our drinks. The whole meal felt as though you couldn’t wait to get us out of there! The table next to us got their wine before their aperitif, their olives served with their starter rather than with their pre dinner drinks, they asked to delay their main as they felt so rushed and it still arrived before before they were ready. I know it is the last day of ‘eat out to help out’ and you are trying to maximise people through your door, but I doubt we will return as it is not a cheap way to spend an hour of your time. For the price, I feel we should have been able to enjoy the experience a bit rather than feeling as though we were being served fast food. However, the actual food was lovely! Whilst we were with you, our daughter was at Zizzis and she was allowed longer in the restaurant than us and she only ordered a simple pizza!

Great service lovely food. Unfortunately towards the end of my meal I discovered a large dead insect Amongst my salad. So put me off having a dessert Had to take a photo. Apologies were given manager informed

Friendly efficient staff. Excellent food. Social distancing well maintained. The restaurant was 'buzzy' even with reduced numbers. We normally eat in Cote quite a lot but this was our first visit this year. We shall be back!

Not my first post lockdown return to a familiar eatery, but the first that has felt every bit as relaxed and excellent in terms of food and service as previously. It is a shame Cote are limiting what they offer to the a la carte menu, but hopefully the special menus will be back soon. I certainly will.

We are regulars at cote farnham, today in particular the food was amazing except one tiny note on one of the dishes. the whole experience was great, definitely recommended.

As a pre-covid user we were delighted to hear that Cote had re-opened and booked for lunch to take advantage of the Government sponsored 'Eat to survive' scheme. We live in Basingstoke but that branch had not at that time re-opened, but had not reckoned with the gridlocked state of the one-way road system in Farnham. It took us nearly 2 hours to get from Castle Street to the Waitrose car park, but the wait was worth it. We had telephoned to advise of the delay and that was handled very sympathetically and our table was ready when we did eventually arrive. The staff were very welcoming, efficient in their handling of the coronavirus restrictions and we felt comfortable right away. The food, as always, was excellent, nibbles for starters, boeuf bourguignon and a steak, followed by a supreme creme caramel and coffee. There was an eclectic selection of diners, families, oldies and business people and the staff were excellent, attentive, smiling and all contributing to the relaxing ambience. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and we will return, but please Farnham Council give the limited road space back to the motorist and there will still be plenty of space for the pedestrians to maintain their isolation.

We were very pleased to come to Cote and pleased that you are open again. We had alovely meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Lovely food, great service and lovely ambience. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Wonderful evening at Côte Farnham! All the staff were lovely and welcoming. They all wore face shields and I felt very safe eating there. Côte obviously recognised the importance of taking precautions and reassuring diners which a lot of other restaurants have failed to do. The food, as always, was delicious and they offered a good choice of dishes. Thank you for reopening Côte Farnham and for a lovely evening. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Cote’s reopening of the Farnham restaurant is great for us, we’ve always enjoyed going there and pleased they’ve managed to keep customer’s safe from Covid.

Main course food very well prepared and particularly tasty especially the lamb chops. beautifully pink as requested. However, my crab starter was not at all cheap and seemed to lack any crab flavour whatsoever. My sense of taste isn't great now but even so, you would expect more from this dish.

Food was absolutely fantastic and service was wonderful. Staff went to particular effort to look after us and were very friendly and professional. Restaurant had a lovely ambience too.

it was very noisy - more so than usual Pleased that Cote are taking part in the "Eat Out to Help Out" Disappointed that they are not passing on their saving from the Government's reduction of VAT on food from 20% to 5% - effectively they have made a 15% price increase. (ie they are charging the same but get to keep more as they only pay 5% to Government instead of 20%)

Staff very attentive and friendly, food was perfectly cooked and presented. Overall a great experience and will be back again soon.
