Côte Farnham

Having been to a number of different branches of Cote, my visit on this occasions was a, little disappointing due to an overlong wait to order the dessert course. This was not the fault of our waitress, but seemed to be due to a lack of staff. We started the meal early at 6.45pm and the problem arose when the restaurant began to fill rapidly around 7.45pm. It seemed that the section in which we were seated had only the one waitress and whilst I am very happy to enjoy a leisurely meal, the numbers of tables the waitress had to serve was just too many. However the staff and standard of food was good, but the delay was frustrating.

Very tasty food, great service: from arrival, when we were accommodated even as the braserie was full and until the end , with very prompt arrival of food and attentive servers.

Was greeted warmly and shown to table, waitress was great so helpful and polite and the food was absolutely fantastic and such great value for money! Will visit again!

Booking on line was easy. We received a warm welcome, great atmosphere, excellent menu choice fab food and good service. What more could you want?

We like the lunchtime menu. Our young waiter was excellent - human, but efficient. Our seating request was taken into account and we were given two options that had the least amount of nearby piped music.

We had a really enjoyable experience from the start to the finish of our evening, from the way we were greeted at the door, the knowledge and friendliness of our waitress and of course the food was excellent.

Nice place .Waitrose was a bit up her self best wet to say ..food was lovely .only other thing is gratualatey include I think not up to cote to decide on it but customer ..

Evening out to celebrate my husbands birthday. Fantastic food and wonderful service. Our waitress smiled for the whole time we were there. It all added up to a very special night out.

Great buzzy atmosphere and friendly staff always make this a lovely place to eat. The food is always good and the seabass didn’t disappoint- it was delicious!

Had an anniversary meal at Cote in Farnham. We eat early but the atmosphere was friendly, the service was good but not too overt. We both had the fish parmentier which was lovely with a tomato and shallot salad. We shared a calamari starter and had a very enjoyable intimate meal

Once seated service was very slow to take our food and drink order. Once food arrived it was below par and therefore I will not be returning anytime soon.

Staff were rude, food wasn’t great for the price of it, staff weren’t aware of menu costs so our bill was prices that weren’t on the menu. It was my birthday aswell and it just wasn’t a nice evening for me.

We dine at Cote on a regular basis because of the excellent menu and friendly, efficient service. It is always first class, and this time was no exception. Thank you to all at Cote.

This is an excellent restaurant although a bit noisy at times. Very good service and delicious food always. Extremely good value with change of menu every month.

Lovely late autumn lunch in relaxed surroundings me and my companion both enjoyed food from the seasonal menu and thoroughly enjoyed it along with a glass of bubbly as a prelude to some Christmas shopping!

Always a great pleasure to dine at Cote Farnham. The staff are so well trained and friendly. This visit was as good as ever.

Unusually for this Cote the mains came out cold and the Duck, which we asked for as medium and "not pink", was both pink and tough. So tough we had to ask for a steak knife. Disappointing, so we didn't stay for puds. We were given a concession on the bill of ££7.20 to make up for it but the 12.5% optional gratuity was left on. We removed that and reduced the gratuity to reflect our experience. I do hope it's back to its normal high standards next time as i love this restaurant!

Cote in Farnham is a wonderful breakfast place. The formule French option is very tasty and a bit lighter than the normal English breakfast. We’ll be back soon.

We have had excellent lunches and dinners here for several years and have never had to make one complaint. It is only recently that we have also sampled their breakfasts and their full English is by far the best for 20 miles. Reliable, courteous, efficient service, good value for money and most importantly, good, wholesome, tasty food.

The restaurant is Always a lovely friendly and welcoming place to eat the food is very nice and a good choice and a wide selection of drinks

Cote is my favourite restaurant, the food is always presented well, which I like, it is also very flavoursome. The staff are always very attentive and polite. The service is also first class.

Food was fine - but front of house was a little frosty when we asked for a quieter table. Not an unreasonable request - especially as I had booked a week in advance and was seated right in the middle of a noisy section- with no other tables offered - even though they were available. Have had better visits.

This was our first visit, we had the three course menu, it had a good choice and the food was excellent also lovely restaurant and atmosphere.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The menu offers something for everyone and is fairly priced and last - but certainly not least - the lavatories are kept clean and well stocked.

Great menu and excellent cooking. Professional service. Too much noise; hard surfaces combined with Farnham ladies what lunch! Nobody wants to hear what they have to say so they shout in the vain hope that someone just might take them seriously! Lovely place, one of my real favourites.

I went to Cote Brasserie , Farnham with a party of 4. All Eaters were very happy with the starters, Main and desserts. The special, recommended red wine was perfect for the lamb, also on the specials list. The waiters were prompt but not intrusive and food was served on time. On the whole this was another great experience at Cote.

Had a delicious breakfast Friendly and prompt service Eggs royal were perfect. Lait coffee a good temperature. I could have had skimmed milk if I had asked!

An excellent evening in the restaurant area we requested. Waitresses were excellent and the complimentary bottle of wine was well received. Will return for the xmas menu

The food was nice but the young guy who was serving us was brilliant. Def made for a much more enjoyable evening. Sorry I didn’t get his name

Consistently good in every respect. Cote Brassere is great value for the set menu and the staff are always very professional. Well done yet again!

Service was courteous, prompt and efficient. Food was very good - well cooked and well presented. I had the rump of lamb which was cooked perfectly. I also had a side of Jerusalem Artichoke Gratiné which was excellent.

Friendly service and the food is reliably good for a sensible price. The restaurant is in the centre of Farnham with available car parking near by.

Good food as always but I do think Cote should provide bread in addition to water to be truly French. It is annoying to have to order & pay for bread, particularly with our starters today of celeriac which definitely needed to be accompanied by some bread!

Great service, good atmosphere, decent food and wine and always reliable. Went with three couples for supper and everyone had an enjoyable evening including a happy vegetarian.

Loved it! Great staff and great atmosphere. We will be back again! Food is very good and we really enjoyed the choice. Normally there's always something to criticise when you go out but we honestly couldn't fault it, hence the 6/6. Staff really were top notch!

We had a super evening and despite being rather late, they found us a table. Food and service excellent as always. Slow cooked pork belly recommended.

We always enjoy Cote. The service is good, food is always excellent and it has a really nice atmosphere. Good value for money and a menu that is regularly updated.

Great service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. An ideal place to meet up with friends and relax over excellent food from a wide and varied menu.

Always a great experience. My favourite is brunch, granola is yummy. Sitting in the courtyard on a warm morning is perfect. Excellent servers and great value for money.

Great food, lovely ambience, only tiny hiccup was that our waitress had never heard of meat being cooked "pink" ... told me I had to say rare or medium rare....

Not bad on the whole - once they rectified a small issue with the wine (white being served at room temperature). Friendly and helpful and issue sorted quickly and efficiently.

An excellent location with very pleasant and efficient staff along with good food overall a really enjoyable evening out we will return again In the near future

Quality of food very good. Service was very polite and efficient even though the place was very busy. Table was ready on time and no rush to get us out after eating.
