Côte Farnham

Lovely food good service although waitress didn’t bring any sugar with coffee & I asked for some sweetners but she never returned with them! So had to get up & ask at station whereupon the boy behind the bar area quickly produced a small pot of them! The restaurant was a pleasant temperature with air flowing through!

Lovely set lunch. Good choices to suit all tastes. Good service.

We voiced a complaint about over use of salt in the fish pie which the manager took up with the chef and agreed that it was too much. He gave us a discount off our bill, which we hadn't expected (or asked for).

This Cote is in a very good location and being able to sit outside is a bonus when the weather is good.

We have been to Cote, Farnham many times - the manager recognises us - and the service has always been good and we have always enjoyed it. However, on Saturday we had to wait about 35 minutes between finishing our starters and the main course. And the restaurant was not packed. There was no explanation for the delay.

Can’t really go wrong with any cotê, good food, great service, lovely staff!

We had a fabulous time - the preordering worked perfectly and it meant we were all served at the same time, food was hot and there were no hiccups. There was a tiny bit of waiting between courses , but nothing major and certainly didn't curb our enjoyment. I would like to say a huge thank you to the team who really made it a special and memorable meal.

Had a glitch with the melon which was hard and bitter, and which was deducted from our bill, but this did not spoil the great atmosphere, service and food overall.

Good, but not as good as usual. We eat regularly at this restaurant and it’s normally exceptional - today’s food (chicken particularly = tough) wasn’t up to scratch in my opinion - wine wasn’t properly chilled either Good not great in summary but it won’t stop us coming back as the standard is usually higher that we experienced today

I usually love coming to your Farnham restaurant; however this time was not so good. While you are great at making sure my food is gluten free as I am celiac, this time when I ordered the steak en frite the waitress did not want to listen to me when I asked for it to be medium - well. For a normal person this would be OK to be pink inside but for me it is not as I also have crohn's disease and your staff are usually very happy to help when I ask for it to be cooked slightly more. Being on medications that suppress my immune system it is important that my food is adequately cooked. This was mentioned to the waitress but she thought she knew best and ignored me; as a result your food has made me very unwell (that is putting it mildly). It will continue for the next 8 weeks as if someting like this happens with my food it takes that long to sort itself out. This meal was supposed to be a birthday treat shame your inexperienced waitress ruined that.

Fantastic service by an extremely courteous and attentive young man and great food, as usual. We have always enjoyed our experience at Cote and today was not exception.

We were late arriving as we have not been to Farnham before and were going to a performance at the theatre.We told our waitress of our situation and were not disappointed.Excellent food and service-second to none.Thank you for helping make our evening a great success!

The restaurant was much larger than we initially thought. It was busy but we never felt people other tables were too close. A pleasant outdoor area for lunch or coffee. Our first visit but not our last.

Wonderful delicious food , great service from the young gentlemen to the ladies . My only niggle is that the table for two is rather cramped when there are 2 mains , 2 sides , bread basket and finger bowl plus glassware etc and placed too close to other tables so privacy was very lacking. Would have given 7* if the latter had not been an issue. Thanks to all the staff and chefs.

The food was fantastic we had the July special Lobster frites and we sat outside undercover on a warm sunny afternoon. The staff were excellent and always around to help. I would certainly recommend eating here at Farnham Cote Brasserie.

We often visit cote farnham and always have a lovely time. As usual the food and the service were great. Lovely menu for July. Will definitely visit again.

Both the Fish and lamb dishes were most enjoyable and we were not disapointed with the the service.Well done .

The table was beautifully set. Service was prompt and very pleasant. The waiters gave the impression of being happy to be there. All our requests were promptly met and our breakfasts were delicious. An excellent start to a celebration Sunday. Thank you.

We often eat at Côte and are never disappointed. Was particularly impressed on this occasion as the had allocated us a round table for 6 as requested when booking several weeks ago. Great service, excellent food and lovely atmosphere.

The food as always was excellent and the service efficient. However, it was almost impossible to have a normal conversation with my friend owing to the high noise level. It appears to be related to the acoustics rather than the volume from other diners. Sadly it has put us off returning.

Great greeting, humorous waiter, nice wine, good food, attentive Manager, great venue, warm evening to eat on the terrace. Whats not to like?
