Another lovely evening at Cote Exeter. Wonderful attentive staff and delicious food and wine!

Finally got to use the vouchers we were given for Christmas 2019! Not disappointed! Food was tasty and service was very good. Slightly disappointed that we weren’t offered the a la carte menu or specials as advertised on the website and when I emailed was told both of these would be available.

I was going to email this morning as our waiter was exceptional, and I wanted to thank him. He was friendly and efficient and dealt with an issue on the neighbouring table in a very professional and fair manner. Unfortunately I don’t know his name, but he looks like Rick Astley!! He’s a credit to Côte and enhanced our experience.

This was for my birthday and it was the first time I've been there and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and it was all well presented. The crème brulé that I had was the best I've ever had. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were all friendly. The table was well laid out and the restaurant looked so pretty with all of the lights and Christmas decorations

We both really enjoyed the Ravioli dish - tasty and perfect light lunch. Given the restrictions the staff at Exeter are trying really hard to make dining still an enjoyable experience. Mike and Gill R

We had a delicious meal. The service was prompt and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the precautions taken against Covid-19... so we felt safe and relaxed.

Superb. Couldn’t fault my lunch experience. Friendly, excellent quality, reasonable price for the high standard provided.

From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left the staff were excellent. The food was delicious. We would highly recommend Cote to anyone who is looking for a venue for a party or in our case a more romantic meal for our anniversary.

The Crab Mayonnaise was better than last time - a more noticeable flavour of crab. Very nice. :) The Creme Caramel wasn't quite so good as usual - the flavour was there but the texture was somewhat 'collapsing'. Service was excellent as usual. I enjoyed my lunch.

I love Cote but on this occasion vegetables were undercooked not just ‘al dente’ And chicken breast a bit tough.

Brighten Your Day - Go To Cote A friend and I went to Exeter Cote yesterday for lunch - we love going there but due to Covid we have not had the opportunity for quite a long time. As always the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, we were made to feel extremely comfortable (too comfortable - we did not leave until nearly 19h00 after arriving at 13h00!!!). Being there made us put the upset of the 'outside world' to one side and we loved the hospitality, beautiful surroundings and care we received from each and every member of staff we met. Go to Cote - I know you will have a wonderful temporary escape!

Not the fault of the restaurant, lacked a bit of atmosphere, but staff were good and attentive.

Fabulous belated birthday meal for both me and my mum. The service was excellent from all the staff, food was amazing. Quick service but not too quick you were in and out. Lovely view of the cathedral right in front of us and we can’t wait to return!

Our waiter was completely charming - all the staff were very friendly, the food was delicious but arrived extremely quickly which left us feeling a little bit hurried. We received our drinks, some bread and then under a minute later our food! We would have liked a little more time to enjoy our drink and bread first. But overall, it was very nice and would recommend.

We enjoyed good service, our free cocktail, a very tasty meal and the view over the cathedral. Thank you.

Good standard of food as usual but would like to see return of 2/3 course special lunchtime menu which was always good value.

Despite Covid restrictions still an excellent experience from one of our favourite eateries.

Good food, although the gratuity which is added on the bill is far to much at 12,5 % it makes it’s good you can choose to pay it or give what you think you can do, the service was good as always.

Amazing lunch again On arriving we had the complimentary fig martinis ... excellent service as always Natalia Lola her sister and Claudio looked after us with a smile... salmon was yummy along with the chicken in mushroom sauce ! French onion soup nice and hot on a rainy cold day Thank you 😘😘

Lovely as always. Missed a few of the dishes but assured they will be back on the menu again soon. Might have been nice if you had opened the upper floor also to extend the social distancing... appreciate it is a bit more work for you but in these strange times...

An excellent meal for our wedding anniversary, service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was excellent, restaurant was clean and felt covid-safe, with a pleasant atmosphere. We regularly choose to come to Cote for a special occasion meal and this visit did not disappoint.

Had a great evening, service and food Exceptional. Visit was for a birtday, nothing to much trouble. Daughter said it was one of the best meals She had experienced 5 stars.
