General good,but a high noise level but a pleasant atmosphere

Food was up to the usual high standard and the staff were very welcoming. This branch has the added advantage of having window views over looking the Cathedral. A really delightful setting.

Always a good choice in Exeter city centre. The specials menu can be a bit ‘thin’, and not to everyone’s liking. The main menu has remained unchanged, for many years. The extra floor now means that it is easier to get a table. It remains a noisy choice, if busy, so not an evening for a quiet romantic meal!

Good food, good service, reasonably priced. Particularly appreciate (as I noted to them in my reservation a few weeks prior) that they mentioned my nut allergy to me before I had the chance to remind them of it. Realise after some high profile awful cases eateries need to be hot on it but even so, really good to see.

Should have read the detail more thoroughly - I thought if you booked on line you automatically got the complimentary drinks However it appears that you need to "enable" them at time of booking and they only apply the to AC menu We ordered and were served with two classes of house white - one was beautifully chilled and the other room temperature This was changed when pointed out to our waitress

Very enjoyable lunch in nice surroundings opposite the Catheral green. Manager went the extra mile in trying to get us a taxi back to St Davids and made us comfortable while we waited.

Was felt robe very welcome, lovely place, cool, very swift on the bringing out of food, waitressing was good, everything about the place was fantastic. Quality food for a reasonable price, will be back.

Usually 6 stars as I love cote, but a loud table spoilt it a bit. No problem people enjoying themselves, but they were a bit too loud. Otherwise excellent food and drink as always x

Overall a very pleasant evening with delicious food and great service from very friendly staff.

Greeted with a kir royal, lovely! Starters, 2 prawn gratine', delightful! Mains, asparagus risotto and a belly pork, excellent. We were served by Claudio, a fine young man. Overall experience, perfect! Thank you Cote

Excellent standard of cusine as always great value for money. upstairs at Exeter is alway a bit noisy but worth it for the view of the cathedral basking in the evening sun

First time at Côte, what a revelation it was. First class service from all the staff to match the food. A return within the next 3 days will be necessary to make sure that it was not a “one-off”. Heartily recommended for all to try.

Always a bit noisy is the only downfall could do with a bit of music and less noise of other people no ambience

We had a great time, looked after attentively without being intrusive or overly formal. Everyone ordered something different and no complaints. Delicious food and all looked lovely too
