An excellent meal and very good service at a reasonable price. Attention to detail throughout the process from making the reservation to thanking the customers as they leave makes for an enjoyable start to the evening. Taking advantage of the early evening set menus is a further bonus. Well done Còte.

We discovered Cote Brasserie in Exeter on the second day it opened and have been devoted fans ever since, sometimes having lunch with a group of friends or a romantic dinner "a deux". From the moment we walk in the reception is warm and welcoming. The waiting staff are attentive and the menus have a variety with plenty of changes but also maintaining the regular favourites. Stay just as you are!! Thank you

Lovely food and the right ambience with a bit of buzz. Our waiters were very helpful and friendly. Spot on for a meal out for two.

The restaurant was booked for my wife’s birthday. However, we were not told that a huge party celebrating a 21st was alongside us. We enjoy a buzzy atmosphere, but due to constant shouting the noise was intolerable and we could not hear each other speak. Although we complained it took a while before the waiter finally returned to agree we could move. It has put us off using Cote.

Enjoyed a really lovely late lunch at Exeter as a birthday celebration for my Mum. The staff treated Mum and our party to top class service! They seated us at nice quiet table with a great view of the cathedral. Mum was treated to a glass of fizz on arrival and then a cute happy birthday message on her dessert! Thanks for making our lunch so enjoyable.

As always, pleasant atmosphere, good friendly service and excellent food.

The only issue for us was that the air conditioning was on and we both felt chilly. We noticed the same problem was with the table next to us as the lady put on her jumper. We did not have that option as we only had coats. Our table was at 6pm and the issue improved by 7pm as the restaurant filled up. Our waiter was excellent and hence the 5 stars for service.

Somewhat slow in being shown to our precooked table. Our waiter was excellent and looked after us very well. The food was well presented and enjoyed. If anything the shellfish was overcooked. Apart from that very good.

Love lunch at Cote, superb atmosphere, lovely, happy staff who can’t do enough and always with a smile. Excellent food, what more do you need? A gorgeous view of Exeter Cathedral adds to a perfect meal!

Service was great as usual, however the main course (Herb Roasted Chicken Suprême) had way too garlic. It's not often that the food is a disappointment.

Friendly and attentive staff, couldn’t do enough. The service was good as always as was the food. The only issue is that it can be quite noisy particularly when there are larger parties.

Excellent as always,tricky people on next table didn't like main course when it arrived so waiter dealt with it suberbly just changed it.

We were really looking forward to a lovely lunch - as per usual with Cote - with some of the gorgeous dishes listed on your website. Unfortunately the site is very misleading-not telling you until you delve deeper to the second page that the menu is Monday to Friday only! Bloody small print ruined our Cote lunch - the “choice” on Saturdays is much reduced - hence we went elsewhere, very annoyed with Cote restaurants. This is not the first time Cote have not been up to standard but I promise it will be the last! Please please please post my review public ally!!!
