Overall excellent and great value for money Only complete is the noise but its christmas and it was very busy

On a horrible wet night we walked into a warm welcoming atmosphere and although we arrived early it was no problem

A beautiful setting on the first floor: light, airy and with fine views over the cathedral green. Prompt and courteous service matched the tasty and well presented food.

We had a delicious lunch at Cote today. We were able yo easily change our table number from 2 to 4 people. The service was very good and we all enjoyed our meal very much.

The restaurant was very busy and noisy but the staff were efficient, cheerful and helpful and the lunch was excellent.

Food and service very good as usual. Wish they would stop adding the 12.5% (optional) service charge to the bill. I am able to decide how much tip to give!

There was an issue with two of our main courses. I think the hallmark of excellent service is the rectification of the issue to the complete satisfaction of the clients. The waiter and manager were brilliant today.

It was a first visit for my friend and I. We had the set lunch (2 course) with a bottle of white wine. The portions were good and the food excellent. Despite the restaurant being very busy the service was good and the staff very friendly & professional.

Disappointed that there was no apple crumble available ☹️. Otherwise an excellent meal.

Second time eating here and unfortunately probably the last. The food was ok but the place is just far too noisy. We were seated next to two huge parties who were loud, kept leaving the table and the waiting staff were spending a huge amount of time serving them. I appreciate it is December and large parties want to go out but it is probably better not to seat small groups in the same area. It really spoiled our experience.

Had a lovely meal. Noise was a bit loud but only others enjoying themselves. Don't think you can do much about that. You were very busy and in control

Service was good but one of our steaks was incorrectly cooked.

Food was great and service was superb, a real buzzy atmosphere and good surroundings.

The food was excellent and food portions were adequate. The service was equally good. The pricing of the meals was reasonable. The ambience of the restaurant added to the experience. However please do not serve cheese on toast style bread in my onion soup it just does not work well. Nearly impossible to eat as the cheese just gets all stringy and sticks to everything. Otherwise it was very tasty.

Absolutely brilliant, Exeter Cote always deliver excellent food, wine and superb service from competent and friendly staff. The delightful setting over looking the cathedral and the warm atmosphere and vibe the the restaurant offers completes this hard to match experience. Thank you again staff for an excellent evening which was a perfect start to the concert venue at the cathedral. Looking forward to our next visit for lunch on the 23rd December.

the steak [steak frites] wasn't quite as good as usual. A little tough. But otherwise another good night at Cote

It was two weeks before Christmas, and the Exeter cote was full at 6.00pm when we arrived. All the staff were working flat out. We only had an hour to eat, and let our waiter know, and he made sure we managed this. The food was the usual high standard, and the creme caramel as lovely as ever!

Very helpful staff accomadated our elderly grandmother with a table change. excellent meal

Easy online table reservation. Very attentive staff throughout the meal even though the restaurant was full. Quick service: once ordered the food arrived quickly. Very good quality food perfectly cooked. Value for money. Côte B is our “go to” restaurant whenever we visit Exeter.

Excellent very organised even thou very very busy staff amazing rushed off there feet

Delicious. Flavour and way cooked is perfect for a great breakfast. Black pudding divine. Perfect coffee.
