Lovely late breakfast in a gorgeous setting. Food is always delicious, service is always excellent and the atmosphere here is chilled & relaxed. I feel like I’ve had a treat when I dine here.

Have been to Cote several times now not had a bad meal Last night we had a steak meal for 2 it was excellentLook forward to our next visit

Lovely staff and lovely food. Very well presented and beautifully cooked. The only disappointing part was that they’d run out of spiced apple chutney to go with the chicken liver pate and they served it with gherkins. Wasn’t great as dislike gherkins. Steak was amazing too.

Always good just wish seating was further apart as feels a little claustrophobic Ambiance is always pleasant with good service and reliable food quality Nice to eat in a French style restaurant as opposed to so many pseudo Italian ones

Consistently good, an authentic Parisien feel with tasty food prepared and served by well-trained professional people who really seem to care about what they are doing.

Nice atmosphere and a good choice on the menu. Everything is reasonably priced. Attentive service. The size of the place does mean it can be quite noisy.

Lovely food as always, staff very friendly and efficient, always very welcoming. For quality and value for money you won’t find a better place in Exeter. See you all next month.

The atmosphere was good and the waiting staff lovely and made a special effort when they found out that someone on our table had a birthday. I think that more staff should be put on in busy periods as it took a while for our drinks order to be taken. Apart from that it was a lovely experience.

Good as usual, BUT, it is asparagus season in England, and we came specifically for the asparagus as it is on your menu! Well, no asparagus left at lunchtime today...VERY disappointed!

Lovely food , we were a party of 7 and everyone was impressed with their food . It was noisy to hear , other than that it was a perfect evening .

We had a nice time but we were really disappointed that the chateaubriand had already run out by 7pm as we came especially for this.

The food is always delicious and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Only criticism is some child portion size breakfasts should be available.

Lovely location , great food , fab staff and we loved the complimentary Rhubarb Martini Cocktail ! Always safe for coeliacs like myself to eat at Côte x Minor point .... white wine barely chilled . I work in hospitality myself and always aim to have chilled champagne or white wine .

I believe great staff make it in a restaurant and these guys were fantastic. Food and wine are superb, great atmosphere, very enjoyable, We'll be back....

Consistently good food, served by very pleasant staff, many of whom are EU or other nationalities. Hard to imagine that British staff would be as professional or necessarily, as friendly, post-Brexit... Hope the diversity of Cote staff can and will be able to continue to come to live, work and 'remain' in the UK (along with the UK remaining in the EU...)

Food was delicious, great service. The acoustics are not great! Very noisy in the restaurant and staff bashing around on the coffee machine a lot.

The staff at last came to take our order after 20 min we seated and my son wait 1 hr for child meal. She also brought wrong wine for me and no apologies. Bavette steak was overcooked. Never go again.

Lovely restaurant. First time in Exeter one. Food was good. There was no chocolate mousse for dessert which I really wanted as it's so delicious. Wine is expensive.

Lovely experience: courteous staff, great table and tasty food - the perfect steak frites with an amazing sourdough baguette ! Must go back very soon !

Lovely staff, very attentive. Great views of the Catherdral! Just disappointed to find out the swordfish wasn’t on after we had received our starters and wine order. Would have rethought

Fantastic service. Food was lovely. Was visiting with my grandparents and this was the first time they had used Cote. They had travelled over 4 hours drive to meet in Exeter and were very impressed. Thank you and well done!!

Cote Brasserie is my default restaurant whenever I am out with friends in Exeter as I know that it will not disappoint. I have always found the food to be superb and sensibly priced, the service is extremely good and of course, what a splendid location.

Was a lovely meal with excellent service. We weren’t rushed and recommendations were appreciated and spot on! We especially liked the vegetarian sausages, mustard sauce with the chicken and the crepes.

Fantastic evening, can't generally complain. If we were being picky on our 5 star rating it was very noisy and we couldn't hear each other around the table. My husband would have liked some tomatoes or something else with his steak and fries. However brilliant meal and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Great food and service. It’s always consistant. High street French dining that’s always enjoyable. I have something different each trip. The specials are always worth looking out for.

The food was superb. We had the Chateaubriand. Expensive but the quality of it lived up to the price. Deserts were giod and the waiters were very attentive.

A lovely setting, especially a window seat on the 1st floor, which we requested when booking. The service and the food, chosen from the set lunch menu, were faultless and excellent value, as was the wine. Thank you for a smashing lunch. We will be back.

Simple booking process, easy to find in an exquisite setting, bright and spacious modern interior allowing quiet conversation, broad menu suiting all tastes, excellent range of accompaniments, pleasant & polite waiting staff, no rush no hassle with quick and simple payment process, on the whole great value for money presenting an excellent experience which is soon and often to be repeated..

Excellent bill of fare; good cheerful service, good gluten-free choice, very good wine cellar, the desserts fair but poor savoury selection, a bit cramped as the evening progressed. Would recommend to others and will return soon.

I enjoyed my main( steak) but my husband did not enjoy his bream. It was bland and could have done with sauce or flavouring of some sort.

An excellent birthday lunch enjoyed today by our party of five. Tempting menu, with good choice available,including vegetarian. Great friendly service. Excellent food. Restaurant busy, so noise level very high. Thank you.
