Côte Restaurant Exeter

Went there for our date night, food was brilliant. Service was prompt. Couldn't fault it.

My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary and it was amazing 🥂🥂 we requested a table upstairs by the window with a great view of the cathedral. The staff were great, friendly and very efficient. The food was amazing and the cleanliness and safety measures around COVID-19 were well thought about. We would definitely go back again !

Very nice evening out for my husbands birthday. Food great and staff very friendly and helpful.

It was a very nice experience. Good food, good wine and lovely lovely people. Our waiter Sam was particularly attentive and we were very happy with his service. We will be going there again.

I have several food allergies and Cote is the only restaurant where the I can totally relax and know exactly what's in the food--whilst never ever being made to feel like an inconvenience! The food is amazing and the service is just spectacular

Food was amazing, the Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection for medium rare. Staff and service was great and nice to see covid procedures being followed! Thanks for a great meal out.

Staff were friendly but seemed to be a bit short in numbers tonight. We ate in the second floor dinning room which was nice with great views of the cathedral. We like this restaurant and the food is always good. However on this occasion our starters (goats cheese salad) had dirt or grit in them which was unpleasant. The staff were great and changed our plates without fuss and reduced our bill which was much appreciated. The main courses were fine. We will definitely come again.

We have been here a few times and always rated it , but sadly they got it wrong this time from start to finish, The starter was placed on the table ,but we had no cutlery and had to wait 5 minutes to get someone’s attention , my wife ordered the lamb it was cold and a new had to be cooked but it was fatty and unpleasant, I had the chicken which was a bit tough? Our server was great and could not apologise enough, we had a table of 4 beside up who were loud noisy and obnoxious, I was hoping a member of staff would say something but never did , 1 good thing was a table next to the window overlooking the cathedral

Even though we are in dire times Cote shines through.

We had a wonderful birthday linch. Excellent table, great service and very safe environment (we actually preferred the Covid table layout), thank you all so much.

Our first meal out since before lockdown and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had booked in advance so were taken straight to our table. I thought the Covid precautions were well executed - tables spaced out, staff wearing visors etc, but it didn't impact on the atmosphere so it still felt like a relatively normal dining experience. Food and wine was great; steaks cooked as we had asked, and our server was very friendly and attentive. I have never had a bad meal at Côte, and I think the value for money is very good.

A fantastic, friendly welcome back from all the Côte team. So good to indulge in their delicious food and wine after such a long time away!! 10 out of 10 for everything!! All social distancing measures perfectly dealt with and plenty of hand sanitizer available. See you again very soon :)

Lovely evening , first time out to a restaurant since lockdown!! Great food and service! Felt safe throughout the evening. It was a bit noisy, because it was very busy but it did not spoil our evening. All credit to the staff who didn’t stop running around all evening!!!!

As always the staff looked after me so well. Always service with a smile and so professional. The staff make it and of course the great food. I had lobster again ! The baked goats cheese salad to start was yummy too. sooo glad Côte exeter is now open ... I have missed you all and the food. Thank you xxx

very quick service as normal, too quick really. Soon as you order the food it arrives. Food is excellant and staff do a good job. Overall nice evening if only it was not so rushed, but thats how it has always been

Delicious food as always. Just had to have the creamed spinach again as it's so good. Very friendly staff and all so well organised.

Had wonderful food & pleased it was as near normal as possible in these mad times . If it hadn’t been for the staff wearing visors we could have believed we were not engaged in this ongoing madness.

Really lovely relaxed meal and the children were also well catered for.

We had a wonderful visit yesterday! Very nice menu with short wait times- it was almost impossible to choose as we were so spoilt for choice but in the end we went with fillet steaks which were done to perfection. We were a bit worried about our visit yesterday as we had to bring along our newborn daughter- pram and all but we were easily accommodated without having to disturb our baby and thankfully our baby remained content throughout the entire meal. Props to our lovely server with the French accent who tended to our every need promptly and efficiently. We will be back to sample more of the menu items.
