Beautiful food, excellent service and all surfaces and areas are very clean. Staff followed all safety procedures re Covid with lots of care and attention.

Service fantastic, but as a fairly frequent guest to Côte I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of my sirloin steak. Cooked to rare as I asked for, but the cut itself I felt was not as good as I have come to expect from Côte. Wine was good and it was a good experience overall.

My daughter and I had dinner on 15 September 2020 to celebrate an excellent year at Uni. Well, the food, the service and the general feel was just fantastic. My husband and I had a delicious lunch at Cote today. Our table was by the window which gave us a lovely view of the Cathedral. I had forgotten that when I booked I had taken advantage of your offer of a free cocktail and very good it was too. We both ordered the poulet grille which was delicious, with a side salad. All helped down with a french beer for husband and a glass of rose for myself. Served by very friendly staff. A lovely mid-day treat.

Returned to this restaurant again within a few days as it can be relied upon to provide a high standard of meals. It is expensive and it is quite chilly as the door is left open. Another time I would opt to sit upstairs. We ordered the classic chicken and chips with a Provençal sauce: all well-cooked and tastefully presented. Desserts are limited but the apple tart with ice cream is very good. Pleasant French restaurant that is clearly succeeding in drawing customers.

Amazing lunch cate up with my bestie! Rhubarb martinis on arrival and bubbles with lunch. The sea-bream along with dauphinois potatoes ... dreamy.. chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce delightful.... shared the creamed spinach. Pudding .. crepes, yummy. Always search out for Cote when away from home as your standard of service and food is consistently high quality.

Was welcomed brilliantly, very friendly service, the manager Dom was fantastic, attentive and explained everything we needed. Could see him directing his team fantastically.

A great experience all-round. From the point of booking to getting the bill we were looked after and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We were very early but the got us a table and the service and food was excellent. Thank you for treating us like humans and not a strange do not touch object. We did not feel threatened or out of place but they had all the safety protocol in place.

We would have gone anyway. We have had a long love affair with Cote: We consider it excellent value - a small menu carefully prepared and well presented. This was our first meal out since lockdown, and my wife was particularly nervous. I booked as usual and then discovered that Cote had, understandably, gone for the "BoJo Special" - "£10 off per head. At that point I considered cancelling, because one had read terrible reports about scrums for tables and all sorts of mayhem. I'm so glad I didn't. Yes, the place was heaving, but did that that faze the staff? Not for a moment! They handled it impeccably, kept the social distancing, obeserved all the regulations and gave us a wonderful experience. Vive Cote!
