Lovely lunch. Sadly we were overcharged on the bill and the restaurant has no facility to refund incorrect charging by staff. Very strange and unhelpful

The lamb, which is a May special, is amongst the best we've ever had! So tender and full of flavour, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended by us, as always.

Lovely waiting staff but it took a while for someone to come over and offer us a drink. More staff required for busy periods. Apart from that, they made a special effort with the dessert when they found out that someone was celebrating their birthday - which was a really lovely touch.

Delicious food and lovely service. Could have been a bit quicker but was worth the wait.

As ever we were not disappointed! We had a simple supper of perfectly cooked and presented Steak Frites with a couple of glasses if deliciously fruity Cote red wine. All really tasty and very very good value.

No lift for our challenged guests- I think this is poor in today’s climatefor accessibility. No lavatories on the first floor, why? Problems again with accessibility for those who are challenged so they probably are confined to the ground floor . Staff friendly. Thank you

Another amazing lunch 👍 at Cotê Exeter. We were greeted by several very friendly staff and the food was wonderful. Salmon rilette for starter and the most amazing seafood linguine for our main course. It was yummy 😋 👍 We’ll be back soon 🤗

A very good lunch in every way. Met up with old friends for our quarterly visit to Cote Exeter (it's half-way between us) and it couldn't have been better.

A small group of us got together for an early supper to round off the Easter break and it was great! Super food, faultless service and a free chocolate mousse as a treat! It's always a lively experience there 😊😊

Booked window table, table occupied. Rest of tables empty. Disgusted!

Delicious rump of lamb on Easter Sunday followed by rich chocolate mousse shared with my husband. Excellent welcome at the door and discreet but attentive service. My favourite restaurant in Exeter with a stunning view of the Cathedral.

A long wait for food - 45 minutes ! Not usual for this restaurant however it would have been good to know when checking in. Service charge was added automatically which caused confusion when we asked for it to be removed due to delay .

I'm a committed diner with Cote Brasserie but it is even better when looking out of the window here and seeing beautiful Exeter Cathedral.

A lovely early supper with friends. I had the duck breast which was delicious and perfectly pink. Traditional French style food with a good selection of wine to choose from. Well worth a visit soon if you haven't already been.

Lovely experience: courteous staff, great table and tasty food - the perfect steak frites with an amazing sourdough baguette! Must go back again!

Had a set menu which was very reasonably priced and the food was great.

We had pre-dinner drinks outside overlooking the Cathedral - we had April's cocktail, lush! The steak frites was so tasty and tender and amazing value. Great service, lovely friendly staff. Faultless, thank you guys!

Th staff were very welcoming and made my daughters 16th extra special decorating the table and giving her a box of chocolates

Met some friends for an early supper - we had a drink outside overlooking Exeter Cathedral which is such a lovely building opposite Cote. Everything was superb - service, food, wine, friendliness of the team there, professionalism. Highly recommended by us all.

A quick supper after work - the staff we really pleased to see us and made us feel exceptionally welcome. The steak frites was so tasty and tender, all helped down with a very good quality house red wine. Excellent value. Try it if you haven't already!

Probably the best and most delicious Cote meal ever. A perfect family meal in a great setting. Glad we were on the top floor as a lot cooler than the ground floor
