Our waiter was excellent. Food was great. Felt a little rushed though. But overall, very nice.

Love Cote and food always first class, however, today the Steak frites dish was more grissle than steak. Please do better next time.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and served promptly.

Great food and excellent service. All three courses I had from the Christmas menu were delicious and the right size so I could comfortably eat that amount. Great first flor window table overlooking the cathedral as well. Superb.

Was really good , attentive staff and great portion sizes especially the calamari , never change! Lovely wine list and the first time I tried the Kirk Blanc with the cassis aperitive and it was really nice :) thank you for looking after us yesterday evening!

Staff were delightful despite the fact we were less people than had booked originally and it was a busy late saturday night. Food was excellent. Will definitely go again, despite one very noisy table, it was really good

Had a great evening despite the fact our party was disjointed in its arrival ! All the staff managed to make our evening thoroughly enjoyable. A special mention needs to go to Alex who captured the attention of my 5 year old granddaughter ! All in all a great evening with great food and great service ..... Thank you !

Stunning food, lovely service, lovely room and setting, we would definitely come back again. A tad noisy but it is a couple of weeks until Christmas

Service was brilliant! We love eating at Cote they never disappoint us. The food is always exceptional. It’s a real treat to dine at Cote and the wine is fantastic too. We would always recommend Cote to anyone that enjoys their food and drink as the place to eat in Exeter.

very welcoming staff om a very busy day to accompany 5 of us including one in a wheelchair. Good food, especially the crème caramel of pudding. Thanks. 4 of our 5 had the minute steaks, 2 of which were bloody as expected and 2 were not. However as the eaters were happy either way we didn't complain - just an observation.

Pre-ordered starters arrived over an hour after arrival (only 3 starters) and one was incorrect. Mains arrived cold. Bill had items on that hadn't been ordered, and included the "free" glass of wine that a friend was offered for the incorrect starter. We were seated on the top floor which had 2 large parties that were so loud and banging on the tables etc.

Even with a quite period (a Sunday evening) the general noise level was excessive - conversation was very difficult. Much better sound/acoustics paneling is definitely required for diners.

Cote in Exeter provided a welcome break as my 91 year old Father stopped for lunch while Christmas shopping. Having booked in advance, necessary as they are always busy, we were shown to our table and had attentive service. We opted for the lunch menu and had Haddock Parmentier, topped with mashed potato and Gruyere, followed by the delicious Chocolate Pot, washed down with a glass of Pinot Blanc. The bill was reasonable and suitably refreshed, we pressed on with our shopping. The first floor is decorated with big mirrors, all reflecting the light so it is pretty, however dull and wet outside.

Efficient friendly staff. Great food location price. Very good ambience.

We ate here early evening/late afternoon before attending a 7 o’clock service in the Cathedral. Excellent food. Excellent service. Although busy they looked after us well.

Superb food, excellent waiter. Bit of a hard sell on drinks and options but understandable as corporate culture. Good value for what we had apart from grossly overpriced wine - but this is true of all restaurants.

Myself and my husband had the set menu. Fantastic food and great value for money. Lovely atmosphere. Service as usual was outstanding. All staff extremely friendly and courteous. Looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect in every way. Booked online, asking for a window table, we got a lovely table overlooking the cathedral. It was my daughters birthday, you made her feel special and gave her a celebratory drink. Service was excellent from walking through the door to when we left. I’m not an easy person to please, so I noticed the attention to detail , from remembering who had ordered what, to clearing away condiments at the end of our main course. All of us enjoyed the delicious food, and considering the restaurant was full on all 3 floors we were impressed how we were made to feel that we were the only ones dining, no mean feet. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Delicious food and great location looking over Christmas market - good atmosphere

I had the Roquefort salad as a starter and their was too much dressing which was very acidic. I also had a green salad and the dressing tasted a little better however the tomato which the fennel (breaded chicken) was cooked in was also not as good as I would have expected. I am a huge fan of Cote and it is unusual to have something not quite right. By the way your cafetière of coffee is really good😁

Amazing food and service each and every time I dine at cote exeter. The girls that served me today were really professional and attentive... (of course all the other staff too including the front of house lady manager and Claudio ) ... I was cold and without prompting one of the girls said I’ll turn the air con off above u. Perfect. A quick snack after festive shopping. Enjoyed a much needed Cote December espresso martini too! All great again - we can always rely on Cote and the team to look after us perfectly! Try it if you haven't already - you will not be disappointed 😊

Food was lovely but service really slow. We were time restricted due to watching a concert but allowed 1.45 hrs which we thought was ample, only managed 2 courses and had to chase several times. We had intended to have dessert and coffee but unfortunately no time.

Set menus are amazing value for money and the view upstairs awesome.
