The staff are amazing. Shame to be over charged on the bill for a desert we didn't order and was brought out as a birthday surprise. The set menu great value the egg walnut bacon salad was piled up way too much. The steak was perfect the chips were slightly under fried and my side of beans were so over cooked they looked opague reminded me of school dinners

We had a tasty lunch today. The service was friendly and the food excellent. The price is reasonable too. We will be back! Thank you!

This is not the first time we have been here, but it was not the best meal or service. We both had the duck from the mother's Day menu. One looked fresh and juicy and the other was over cooked and dry. The waiter did not seem very interested in his job and was coughing and sneezing throughout the service. Not ideal with food around. We will not be put off by this one bad experience,but if it happens again?

Returned to spend our voucher we were given after bad experience on mother’s day. We had a much better time tonight. Lovely meal and good service. Shame side dish didn’t come out at the same time as main. Had eaten nearly half before it arrived. Didn’t spoil a nice meal. We will return.

Such great food and truly amazing service. This is a perfect place for a lovely, lazy birthday lunch. We will be coming back again. Also, gluten and dairy free diners taken care of extremely well.

We arrived early for our dinner at 17.40 and so we were nearly alone and got excellent service. Thta may not be the normal conditions!!

An excellent evening with friends and a very good meal off the new weekday set menu. Your rib eye steaks are terrific - and the welcome we received from the team in Esher was friendly, professional and much appreciated.

Two of our main courses (steaks) were luke warm along with the french fries. The other two sword fish dishes had a strange smell and taste. My wife left most of her fish course.

Consistently nice. Girls night out and we all enjoyed our meal and thought the service was good.

The service was awful, waitress very pleasant but we had no plates, they served the wrong thing - food was very average. Overpriced for what it was. We won’t be going back.

Excellent food, beautifully prepared and served. The set menu offers very good value and is changed frequently so always a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Normally a good experience. But this time (later than usual) the food was not-too-we’ll cooked. My own haddock wrapped in bacon was over-cooked, while a starter of asparagus was under-cooked. Service was it’s usual good standard, so o think it was a one-off.

Very nice to meet the new manager who took care of us. Would have been nce if my wife's expresso coffee had arrived at the same time as my dessert as I was not having coffee and she not having a dessert.

We came to Cote for a family lunch to celebrate my Daughters 18th birthday........ The service was very attentive, prompt, there were staff insight at all times. The service timings were spot on, they made a special fuss of the birthday girl... overall we all had the best time and this is partly due to the service, food and staff ! so thank you all at Cote... The food was good but the service was extremely slow. So slow that while we were waiting for our starters we asked for some bread and olives to tie us over. The waitress brought the bread but never brought the olives which did not help the coeliacs in our group.

A lovely birthday breakfast - the staff were lovely to my daughter and her friends.

A pleasant restaurant with nice staff. I found the food disappointing in comparison with visits to other branches. A shame because Cote is usually completely reliable.\

Excellent food and excellent service especially enjoyed the rhubarb martinis and the crab mayonnaise

Food and service were excellent, however we were seated right next to the area where the staff prepare the hot drinks etc. and the noise was very loud at times especially when they were re-stocking the crockery. Will ask to be seated elsewhere in future.

Had the mussels which I have had loads of times. Supposed to be in white wine cram and garlic sauce. They appeared to have missed out on the cream. It was so watery, inedible! . A few bad mussels as well. Pointed this out but no replacement offered.

Excellent food and ambience as usual, but service slower than usual. A dessert menu was brought to us after a delay, and then it was 15 minutes before I caught the waitress's eye. We had been forgotten.

First time at this Côte and enjoyed it! Food was great and so was the service! I’m a loyal customer and visit lots of restaurants and always enjoy the experience! Some speciality wines would not go a miss.

Excellent food and excellent service Noise levels were too high but nothing unusual in most restaurants. Little bit slow between courses but not in a hurry so no concern.

Always a good experience at Cote! Amazing service and great food, cooked to perfection at a very reasonable price. I was saying to my partner there’s a reason why Cote aren’t struggling in a competitive market...Keep up the good work!

Very good as usual and the food,drink and service was spot on.

We have been going to Cote Esher for years - we think of it as our 'regular' place - must go at least once a month since it opened. My wife's special delight is to finish the meal with your Creme Brulee - how sad when we went last night the restaurant had run out !!!!

The restaurant suddenly became very busy and the staff were a bit overwhelmed. However the food was good and we will certainly go back again probably next week as I think that this was a one off.

Great lunch as usual, great gluten free choices. The other clientele was quite noisy for some of our group but a good time was had by all.

Bit disappointed. Left for over 10 minutes when we arrived even though not that busy. Had to catch waitress eye to get noticed. Ordered , food came before any drinks, orders we both wrong, sent back and one still came back wrong! Bacon very undercooked , not impressed at all .

Wonderful evening, and the staff were wonderful, gave mum and I a free glass of bubbly for mum birthday. Fab customer service and great food

Our waiter was excellent service; the food on the 3 course deal for June was very tasty and beautifully hot, and the resturant had a good ambience

2 course early evening meal plus a bottle of house red was absolutely perfect. Service could not have been better.

First class service with usual high standard of cuisine. One of the best restaurant group of its type. Use their chain regularly and always of a high standard.
