Côte Esher

We visited Cote on Valentines day and as usual we had a great time. The food and atmosphere was perfect as always. Looking forward to the next visit.

This a lovely restaurant at the top end of Esher. We have been several times, the last time being Valentines. The food is really tasty, the service is good and the staff are very helpful. Bit of a family favourite for us.

Good chain restaurant food at reasonable prices with weekend specials, minute steak and frites. Friendly and attentive staff although the restaurant was very quiet on Sunday night. I’ve been on a busy night and service was not so good

Good location, great staff/service, and a really nice place. When we arrived we were given the option to choose our table and were served by a very friendly team. We came here for Valentine's Day, and so used the set menu. The food was really nice and unique, and well presented. The waiter also gave each woman a rose. Very friendly and nice atmosphere. I recommend!

Delicious food, and good service despite a busy evening. We asked for a top up of water at one point and it did take a while longer than expected to come.

Have eaten at a number of Cote restaurants including Esher and standard of food and service always very good. However this visit was spoilt by the table being placed adjacent to the drinks /coffee serving area which was rather noisy and irritating and as one of our party is deaf made conversation difficult.

Excellent restaurant chain, holds it's quality across each one I've been to. I can particularly recommend the fillet steak! Very helpful and friendly staff. Will go back, I always do!

Love Cote, delicious food, excellent price, exceptional service, varied menu. I visit both Guildford and Esher Cote with various friends and I am never disappointed. What's not to love.

Three of us had brunch on Sunday, we had friendly smiley service, a good range of brunch options, all well cooked and delicious. Appropriately priced too.

A nice restaurant with lots of atmosphere. The menu is simple and straightforward but nicely cooked and presented. Creme Caramel to die for. Good attentive and friendly staff

Cotes looked full on Saturday night. Service by Lithuanian waitress was really excellent. Shame the food was not up to her standard. My wife had Duck which was not at all tender. I had Beef Bourguignon which was not too bad but no where near the standard of Café Rouge a few hundred yards down the road.

Good to come back to Cote in Esher, as always, an interesting menu, with old favourites and some great new dishes, good service and nice buzzy atmosphere - we'll be back!

Delicious reasonably priced food, lovely staff, great ambience. All in all a great evening. Well done to the management and team. Always find the standards at Cote are very high and never been disappointed yet.

restaurant was very busy admittedly, but there were quite long waits between courses. dont know if this was down to the kitchen but always good value.

Good value as always however there were no paper hand towels in the disabled toilet. First time customers could find this very annoying and very disappointing for such a restaurant .

Good location, nice feel to the restaurant. Service was a little slow, but it was a busy Friday night and a very pleasant experience. Food quality was up with other Cotes I have visited.

We are frequent visitors to Cote Esher as live locally so know staff and menu very well. Cote's largely French menu is a very attractive feature, as well as its short but very good wine list. Monday is a quiet night at the restaurant so we enjoyed the more attentive service and tranquility of the atmosphere, which can be very noisy during busy times. Food was excellent quality - one of the dishes got mixed up by the waitress but this was quickly rectified. On the whole, good all-round.

Great restaurant, great food and great service. Only downside is that there is no parking nearby making it tricky when bringing older people to this restaurant.

Wonderful food, quick service and friendly manner.... We love cote, and every restaurant is consistently good. The menus change frequently, and the staff responsive to our needs (as pescatarians).

This was our second lunch at a Cote restaurant this week. Esher restaurant remains our favourite of all Cote's. The four of us had the a la carte menu which was in all cases excellent in quality and value. Even better we had bonus free bottle of wine! Regards John Edwards

Lovely evening food super we had lamb rump with crepes for desert. Atmosphere great . Definitely another visit soon . Wine and Aperitif of calamari very good

Great food- delicious and wonderful service. The choice quite broad so hard to think anyone couldn’t find a dish they’d like to eat. Spacious an airy do an overall pleasure.

It is rare to have a bad experience at Cote Esher and on Friday the food and the service were of your usual tip top standard.

Great food and excellent service. Lovely gluten free menu too and very aware of needs of Coeliacs. Can recommend the chicken parfait starter and the house Chardonnay.

As usual the whole experience at Cote was excellent. The warm goats cheese starter was ver tasty and the mains perfect. The service was delightful.

Lovely friendly, chatty and efficient staff. Great value food and an altogether pleasant experience. The biggest problem is having to write a 25 plus word review!

We went for brunch it was very good value with a good variety of food to choose from. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The food was very good would recommend.

It was a good experience our first visit to a Cote restaurant. The menu selection was interesting. Overall I felt the experience did not give good value. I will certainly use the brand again.

Excellent breakfast as always at Cote Esher. Formule deal great value including a full English breakfast, toast, coffee and an orange juice. Hard to fault.

Food was good but the service was very poor. Staff kept leaving during the evening to the point we had no one waiting our table half way through the evening.

Lovely restaurant with attentive staff and great food reasonably priced. I particularly like this branch because the tables are not on top of each other with restricted privacy as is the case in some other branches.

A pleasant lunch but I wish I had stuck with one of the fish choices such as the seafood linguine, as my rabbit “shepherds pie” was nothing very special!

We go to this Cote ever month. Why, because the staff there are so attentive and the food spot on each time. The food was great last night and we still recommend it to everyone

Very enjoyable breakfast - ordered the formule deal which includes a full english breakfast and coffee and juice and filtered water and toast ! Great value!

Great service as always from the team at Esher. Always polite and if anything wasn’t right it all got sorted quickly.

We eat at Cote Esher every so often (when dog sitting for our daughter). The food is very reasonable, as are the prices, the ambience is pretty good and the service mostly good (we have a favourite waitress who greets us like old pals, but we aren’t always able to sit in her area), though some of the waiting staff don’t have a brilliant command of English. That, however, doesn’t really prevent you having a good time! Enjoy!

I have eaten at various Côte outlets over the years, and have never had a disappointing experience. Food is above-average French bistro style and always hits the mark. The four in the party all enjoyed their meal, one of whom was celebrating their 88th birthday. Service was slow, but being Sunday lunchtime that was to be expected and we were not in a hurry, and a side dish was very late, but deducted from the final bill. Very good value for what it is.

Nice enough meal but we felt s bit rushed. I had my usual favourites and the food was fine, but not as good as from my regular Cote Brasserie in Blackheath. Would be happy to go again, though
