Côte Esher

Absolutely rubbish - poor service, poor food and then the bill was wrong. This is the 3rd cote since the weekend that has been terrible. What has happened to cote?

The full English breakfast was great and the coffee was good too. The Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. We will definitely be back.

Was a busy day as father’s Day but I asked for a window seat I know hard to fulfill but no apology and I booked months in advance got sat next to the bar was very noisey spoilt it. However food excellent best breakfast there.

I’ve dined here on a couple of occasions and never disappointed. I really like the way the tables are spaced out for privacy, not always the case with some of their other sites. Great service and food, really nice new additions to the menu. Always great value.

I’m so full I’m going to pop, lovely attentive staff even on a very busy Sunday morning. Will certainly be back soon, great for kids too

We had a very enjoyable early evening meal - service was fast and efficient, food was very nice and atmosphere was good. We would go again to Cote in Esher. We had been sent a promotion which gave us a free bottle of Rose. The wine was very good and it was a nice treat.

Friendly and attentive staff. We had Asparagus, Prawn Gratin, Moules, Pork Belly, Creme Brûlée and Banana crepe. All very nice and very reasonably priced too. We will be back on our next trip to Esher.

Excellent menu, excellent food and excellent service. There are the regular dishes and always something new - always good value for money. Cote always delivers - well done and keep going!

Very good all round ! Tasty seasonal food in relaxed surroundings. Consistent standard and several menus to choose from. Service friendly and attentive without being obstructive.

The friendly waiter found us a quiet table where my friend and I could have a lovely catch up. Efficient service and the food was delicious and their coffee is always good. We ate from the early evening menu which is brilliant value.

Hake provencal was great and good to see the Fix Pris Menu apply to a week-day evening. Casual and affordable venue with polite service. Good all round.

Nice food and good atmosphere. Staff are very attentive. Something not right with the acoustics as it is difficult to hear with neighbouring tables also chatting.

Cote Esher has a pleasant setting for indoor dining. We had a choice of tables which was nice. Overall the food was good and so was the service.

I had visitors from Cyprus that wanted to eat at Côte Brasserie in Esher. We had a lovely meal and the service was very friendly.

As ever good regular cuisine with friendly and efficient service. Cote have got the formula rift, you know what you are going to get and it works!

Very good service, broad enticing menu and good value for money. The restaurant was only moderately busy at 7pm and we were the last customers to leave at 9.30pm.

We always have a great time when we go to Esther Cote. The service is always good and the food always of a good standard. It is my birthday week so took advantage of the free glasses of Kir Royals, nice touch. Thank you yet again for a super lunch.

Great food and friendly service. Rib-eye steaks were excellent. Quiet for a Saturday evening (probably due to rainy weather) but did not detract from a pleasant evening.

Exceptionally good. The duck was cooked perfectly and ending the meal with Cremer caramel is always a delight. The wine was good and service excellent . Lovely wvening with friends.

We visit this restaurant many times and the service and food is always very good took some family there a couple of weeks ago and they were very impressed said the food was really exceptional . So well done.

As always our lunch was superb and the service was excellent. We always look forward to going to Cote, it does not matter if you have the set lunch menu or the a la Carter the quality is always first class.

Can’t do a simple thing like cook and serve a sirloin steak! Not only was the quality of the food disappointing but had to wait about 40 minutes for it!

Excellent service and food. Just a shame that two of the main courses on the prestige menu had run out which meant one of us had to choose from the a la carte

The wam at esher we’re great as always. It’s loving. Going back to somewhere who knows you and treats you well. Both my wife and I love the menus at Cote and would recommend the team at Esher to anyone.

Love going to Cote as food is consistently delicious. They offer gluten free and cater to my allergies. Service is good, even when I asked for more ice cubes in the wine bucket.

Very quiet Monday evening, usual standard of good food & efficient service, apart from bringing the wrong pre-dinner drinks, quickly rectified! We always enjoy dining at Cote.

Attentive staff, quick delivery on food. Good evening overall. Staff were having to deal with rather inebriated guests from Sandown racing and did so admirably and with a smile.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great staff and delicious food. Cotes is my favourite restaurant and myself and my family go there all the time. The food is excellent value for how delicious and well cooked it is.

Really disappointed with our meal on Friday 27th April. Maybe it was because we ate from the specials menu and it was the last day of it before switching to May menu. The food and service is usually fantastic at this restaurant but we weren't impressed with the food this time. Sorry Cote! Different chef maybe or perhaps we just ordered heavy food and the newer lighter summer menu may be in full force by now.

Always excellent food at this restaurant and excellent service if not a little expensive especially the cost of a glass of house wine ! Will always return though.

Came for my birthday lunch. Nice meal but staff were very grumpy and not very accommodating. Quite surprised as Cote staff are normally really nice.

Good lunch, delicious dessert and friendly service. We would have liked to have seen alternate non dairy products to soya for my dairy free friend, maybe almond milk for latte type drinks.

The staff are always friendly and the food excellent. We always have a good evening and go back time and time again. esher branch has good atmosphere which helps us to enjoy our evening.

Great food - good atmosphere - reasonably priced menu with a comprehensive wine list. Highly recommended. Good for couples or as a group - with a wide choice of local restaurants- they’ve got it right

As ever Cote was great value for money. Great environment Well presented food. Attentive staff. What more could you ask for. Cant wait until we go again.
